Chapter 3 Fallacies

"I heard this. For a moment, the Buddha lived in the Jetavana tree in the Kingdom of Shravador to the Garden of Lonely. At that time, the World Honored One told the monks that there were evil laws, evil laws, real laws, real laws, real laws, listen carefully and think well. We should tell you what evil laws are called evil laws, which are called killing, and even evil views. This is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called evil laws. It is called true laws. It is called true laws. It is called self-destruction. It is taught to kill people. It is called true laws. It is called true laws. It is called true laws. It is called self-destruction. It is taught to kill people. It is called true laws. The Buddha has said this. The monks have heard what the Buddha said. They are happy to practice them." Jueming recited the thirty-seven volumes of the "Miscellaneous Agama Sutra".

Song Ruoxi lowered his head and curled his lips in disgust. There was nothing new, and he said scriptures again.

"Amitabha Buddha, who is a general advises to abstain from killing, releases animals according to his strength, blesses and chants the Buddha's name, increases blessings and virtues, is reborn according to his wishes, and is free from reincarnation forever, and has infinite merits." Huijin said.

Ye Shuhua nodded slightly. Among the ten kinds of bad karma, the sin of killing was the greatest.

Song Ruoxi sneered lightly, disagreed.

"Jingchen, do you disagree?" Jueming asked with a smile.

Song Ruoxi looked at Huijin and said, "Master, can I say it?"

Huijin looked at the pretending well-behaved disciple and smiled and said, "Yes."

Song Ruoxi sat upright and cleared his throat, saying, "The Buddha said that those who practiced should abstain from killing, cut off meat and fish, and eat vegetarian food to achieve the right result. But the Buddha also said that the six realms of reincarnation, and those who commit evil will fall into the three evil realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals. Since those who commit evil will fall into the evil realm, then killing can allow these evil people to escape from the sea of suffering, reincarnate again, and become human again in the life of others. This is doing good deeds. Those who do good deeds should have good rewards, but the Buddha said that killing will go to the cycle of hell, devote themselves to the evil realm, and suffer torture. Those who make them continue to suffer in the sea of suffering and refuse to save them have immeasurable merits and eternal reincarnation. So I think that the Buddha is suppressing good and promoting evil."

Ye Shuhua looked at Song Ruoxi in shock and some concern. These words were disrespectful to the Buddha. The two masters were afraid that they would be admonished, but their attitudes were beyond his expectations.

Huijin had known that this disciple would speak incredible words, but his expression had not changed, and he smiled indifferently, "Amitabha Buddha, the Dharma is profound and profound, and only by meditation can one understand it quietly."

"In this way, I will linger for a few days." Jueming was like Huijin, and he could see that Su Yingying had a soul-changing person. He was only aware of his fate, but his future was unknown. He looked at Ye Shuhua and lowered his eyelids. It was fate or disaster, and it was up to his fate.

In early winter, after nightfall, the weather in the mountains became colder and the cold air filled the air. The temple in the dusk showed a bit of coolness. In a meditation room in the courtyard of Jujiao, there was a lonely lamp and sandalwood fragrance. Jueming sat cross-legged on the futon, closed his eyes, and silently recited the Heart Sutra.

Ye Shuhua sat on the cushion opposite him, but had no intention of chanting scriptures. He looked at Jueming, opened his mouth, and wanted to speak but stopped.

Jueming chanted the Buddha's name and opened his eyes, "Say whatever you want to say."

"Master, the words said by Junior Brother Jingchen are taken out of context. Why do you and Uncle Master point out her mistakes and lead her back to the right path?" The Buddhist path and the demon path were just apart. Ye Shuhua was worried that Song Ruoxi would go astray and suffer the pain of reincarnation forever.

"'What do you think about Subhuti? Can you see the Tathagata in your body?'''No, the World Honored One cannot see the Tathagata in your body. Why? The body appearance that the Tathagata said is not the body appearance.' The Buddha told Subhuti: 'All appearances are false. If you see all appearances, you will see the Tathagata.'" Jueming did not answer Ye Shuhua's question, but recited the Buddha's visit.

Ye Shuhua pondered for a moment and asked tentatively: "Master, what you mean is not what she said?"

"The enlightenment of water and the enlightenment of Zen by the beautiful words are all opportunities."

Ye Shuhua's eyes lit up, and he suddenly realized his hands clasped, "Disciple understands, thank you Master for your advice."

Jueming plucked the rosary in his hand and chanted the Buddha's name.

As the night became deeper and the chill became stronger, the oil lamps in the meditation room were extinguished one after another, and the silent foothills, the quiet temples, and the nuns all fell asleep peacefully.

Before dawn, the bells of the temple ring, awakening the sleeping Song Ruoxi. He stayed in the bed for a while before he got up with his eyes half-squinted, dressed slowly, biting the willow branches like anger, missing the toothbrush, missing toothpaste, missing face wash, and miss everything in modern times.

After the morning class, Huijin returned to the Zen room, looking at Song Ruoxi, who was shaking his head again and again. Before he could fully wake up, a kind smile appeared on his lips. He walked over and shouted softly: "Jingchen, wake up."

Song Ruoxi covered his mouth and yawned, opened his eyes wide and looked at Huijin, and suggested seriously: "Master, there is nothing else except chanting scriptures all day long. In fact, you don't have to get up so early."

"It's already very late, it's time to go to the vegetarian hall for dinner." Huijin is old and doesn't have to go to the vegetarian hall. She just wants to get familiar with the nuns and takes her there without hesitation.

Song Ruoxi curled his lips and followed Huijin to the dining hall. At the entrance of the dining hall, he met Master Jingxuan, her niece and granddaughter, and two nephews. Master Jingxuan did not usually come to the dining hall for meals because his legs were inconvenient. Song Ruoxi has been in the temple for more than half a month. This is the first time he has seen her.

The family surname of Master Jingxuan is Chen. Her granddaughter Chen Yiwei is a stunning beauty. She is fourteen years old. Her skin is delicate and white, her willow eyebrows are green, her peach eyes are shimmering, her cherry lips are pink, she is wearing a small black bun, and she is swaying with dragonflies and beads. She is wearing a pink wide-sleeved cotton top embroidered with rose patterns, and a moon-white pleated skirt embroidered with green calyx plums. She is graceful and graceful.

Jian'er, who was walking behind Chen Jiawei, was a head shorter than her, wearing a gray monk's robe, and was set off by the bright and beautiful beauty like a gray-headed mouse.

The eldest nephew Chen Mo is nineteen years old, with his sword eyebrows slanted, his eyes are bright, his nose is high, and his silver-blue long gown makes him look handsome, but his eyebrows are faintly cold and arrogant, which makes him look a little unruly.

The seventeen-year-old second nephew, Chen Yin, has a much inferior appearance than Chen Yiwei and Chen Mo. He has ordinary facial features, a slightly fat body, and a long robe with green grass embroidered dark flowers. He stands next to the brother and sister with outstanding temperament, dull and inconspicuous.

"Uncle Master, Junior Brother Jingchen." Jingxuan clasped his hands together and bowed.

When he heard Jingxuan call Song Ruoxi Junior Brother Jingchen, the three brothers and sisters of Chen widened their eyes in surprise. In Jinglian Temple, only Huijin is now higher than Jingxuan. Then Jingchen should be the apprentice accepted by Huijin. However, Huijin announced more than thirty years ago that she would not accept disciples. How could she suddenly accept such a small apprentice? The three of them looked at Song Ruoxi with unanimous eyes and looked up and down. What is special about this petite girl?
