Chapter 2 Senior Brother

When Su Yingying woke up, she was already in the meditation room... Now, everything can be avoided by using the reason for fainting, which saved a lot of trouble. Jian'er was left to Master Jingxuan, who raised her, to take care of her, and she was not allowed to harass Su Yingying again.

At first, Su Yingying didn't feel anything about Jian'er coming. After all, the relationship between the two was not deep, but after half a month of chanting scriptures, meditating, and drinking soup, she began to miss Jian'er.

On that day, a distinguished guest came to the temple. Huijin came to entertain herself. Without her staring, Su Yingying was impatient to read these Buddhist scriptures, put them down, got up, opened the door and walked out, looking at Zhu Hibiscus, whose leaves fell by the autumn rain, sighed and was full of melancholy. She was still prosperous last night, but today she was depressed. She was sad all the way, and she walked to Zizhutai unknowingly.

The main hall of Jinglian Temple worships Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the purple bamboo platform is built in the legendary Guanyin practice site. Su Yingying is not in a hurry to go back to the meditation room. She sits down by the quiet bamboo forest and rests, looking at the sky full of floating clouds, wandering around the sea. When she worked overtime before, she was almost exhausted, she wanted to find a place to hide for a few days, but now everything will turn out to be extreme. She looks too quiet, and looks at the ancient Buddha of green lamps and drums and morning bells all day long. It seems that a year has passed. Come here to calm your soul and save your life, and you are tortured.

"Jingchen, it turns out you are here!" Jian'er rushed out from nowhere.

Su Yingying patted her chest, "Jian'er, you scared me."

"I'll go to the Zen room to find you, you're not here." Jian'er sat down beside Su Yingying, "I calculated with my fingers and calculated that you would hide here, so I found him."

Su Yingying smiled and asked, "Senior Brother Jingxuan, why did you let you out?"

"My master's nephew and nephew came to the temple to see her, and I took the opportunity to sneak out." Jian'er didn't hide her personal information in front of Su Yingying, and said whatever she wanted.

"There are many guests in the temple today." Su Yingying touched her chin. What is the good day today? Two masters from Jinglian Temple who lived in seclusion were both visited. Jingxuan is the granddaughter of the nephew and nephew. Who would Master Huijin be the guest? She had to trouble her to meet him in person.

"More people will come in a few days." Jian'er grabbed a handful of melon seeds from her purse and handed them to Su Yingying, adding, "I didn't use my teeth to slap it, I peeled it with my hands."

Su Yingying smiled, took it, picked up a few pills and put them in her mouth.

"November 17 is Amitabha Christmas. The temple will hold a meeting, and it will be lively at that time." Jian'er stuffed a handful of melon seeds into her mouth and chewed it creakingly.

It is not useless to read the Buddhist scriptures for half a month. At least Su Yingying knew that this Amitabha Buddha was not just a Buddha name. He was the leader of the Western Pure Land in Buddhism. He was collectively known as the Three Saints of the West, together with Guanyin Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva.

Jian'er talked about the lively scene of the Dharma Assembly, and Su Yingying silently recited in her heart, Amitabha Buddha, one Buddha in one world, and many Buddhas in many realms! There are quite a lot of Buddhists. How many Buddhist birthdays will be celebrated in the end of this year and how many Dharma Assembly will be held?

Su Yingying was bored and didn't dislike Jian'er being too young. She talked to her wildly. From Jian'er, she learned a lot of secrets that Huijin would not say. After chatting for a while, a little nun came, folded her hands together and bowed to Su Yingying and said, "Uncle Master, Master, please ask you Qingmiaotang."

At the beginning of the construction of Jinglian Temple, a sectarian lineage monument was erected. It has been passed down for more than ten generations. Now, the word "hui" is the highest in the temple. Next is the word "jing" and then "yuan". After entering Buddhism, there is no distinction between genders. The nun does not call it a senior sister, but a senior brother. Huijin accepted Su Yingying as a lay disciple, ranking it at the end of the word "jing".

Su Yingying followed the little nun to Qingmiao Hall, and Jian'er returned to Jingxuan. The light in the Zen room was not very bright, and the Buddha's fragrance floated. In addition to Huijin, there was also an old and a young man sitting upright on the cushion. The old man was as famous as Huijin's holy monk Zen Master Jueming, and the few were Ye Shuhua, the disciple of Zen Master Jueming.

"Disciple has met Master." Su Yingying would not be as troublesome as she was when she was alone with Huijin, and would give her master a good face.

Huijin raised his lips slightly and said, "Jingchen, this is Master Jueming, you will greet the master."

"Disciple Jingchen has seen the master." Su Yingying finished her salute and looked up at Zen Master Jueming. The old Zen Master is nearly a hundred years old. His wrinkles on his face are as carved as a knife, his eyebrows and beards are white, his eyes are slightly drooping, and he holds a string of Vajra Bodhi beads in his hand.

"Seeing the world quietly, everything goes with the flow; not being sad about the past, not being greedy for the future; being concerned with the present, so be peaceful." Zen Master Jueming opened his eyes, his eyes were soft, and his mind was peaceful, and he handed the beads in his hand to Su Yingying, "The appearance is born from the heart, and the environment is transformed from the heart. If you are concerned with the Buddhas, the beads can help the Tao."

Su Yingying already understood that it was impossible to go back to modern times, at least for the time being. She wanted to accept the fact that she is now "Song Ruoxi", took the rosary, put it on her wrist, and folded her hands together, "Master Xie's advice, I... the disciples will work hard to keep things as they come."

Zen Master Jueming smiled and said, "Shuhua greets your junior brother."

Smile with a flower, pure and untainted, Su Yingying's impetuous state of mind suddenly became calm. She turned around and saw Ye Shuhua's belly. She was surprised by his height. She took a step back and raised her head to see his appearance.

At about twenty years old, his long black hair was tied to the top of his head with a Ruyi pattern sandalwood hairpin. His facial features were exquisite and his eyes were deep, black and white, but his face was not very good, he was a little pale, and his lips were not very bloody. His wide monk robe was put on his thin body, which was a little weak.

When Ye Shuhua met the petite girl in front of him, he looked at him with a pair of lively and clear eyes. There was a small figure in his motto pupils, his lips slightly raised, he showed a gentle smile, and his hands clasped, "You are polite."

"Senior brother is polite." Su Yingying lowered her eyelids and said softly.

"Amitabha, you all sit down!" Hui Jin said.

Ye Shuhua sat cross-legged in the cushion, with a standard posture.

This old Zen master is so kind. If he acts provocatively, will he let him break his skills? Su Yingying's eyes slightly turned, raised her eyebrows slightly, sat down carelessly, and asked, "Master, Master, can I sit like this?"

Jueming and Huijin were rude to Su Yingying and did not think it was offensive, so they nodded. Seeing this, Ye Shuhua smiled a little deeper and had a preliminary understanding of this junior brother who had met for the first time.
