21, Chapter 21(2/2)

"Oh." Kou Chen nodded.

He had no clothes on, just wrapped in a sleeping bag and sat in the tent in a daze.

After Huo Ran fell asleep, he felt for the first time what a long night meant.

But at one o'clock he did not wake up Huo Ran as promised.

Not even at two o'clock.

It's not how great he is.

It was because he only lasted half an hour after Huoran fell asleep, and then fell asleep.

The moment he fell, a sentence flashed through his mind.

If someone is really coming, you should be able to hear it if they step on the branches.

Obviously Huo Ran didn't wake up consciously at one o'clock, let alone two o'clock.

The first thing Kou Chen heard when he woke him up in the morning was: "I knew this was the result."

Kou Chen suddenly laughed: "Hey, I forgot to set the alarm clock."

"Fortunately, it's not decided," Huo Ran said while packing his sleeping bag, "it will affect my sleep."

"Is there nothing going on last night?" Kou Chen sat up.

"Yes," Huo Ran stopped rolling his sleeping bag, "the chicken wings we didn't finish are missing."

Kou Chen suddenly felt a hair on his back: "He Hua is here?"

"Go away," Huo Ran choked with laughter, "It could be a small animal... of course it could also be a human, so get up quickly, eat some instant noodles and set off."

The couple over there had no idea what happened last night. After breakfast and packing their things, two men over there got out of the tent and went to the edge of the forest to pee.

Huo Ran went over to remind them to pay attention to the strangers, and then came over to check his camp to make sure that nothing was missing, and then waved his hand: "Let's go."

"Keep this," Kou Xiao took out the remaining two sausages. "Do we still have dry food and a supply point ahead?"

"Yes." Huo Ran nodded.

"Then..." Kou Xiao hesitated, "If someone came over and ate chicken wings in the middle of the night last night..."

"Put it on the edge of the forest." Lao Yang understood what she meant and pointed to a stone on the edge of the forest. "Put it there, it will be easy to see."

"Okay." Kou Xiao went over and placed the sausage on the stone.

Because of last night's experience, this ordinary trip, which was just about seeing the scenery and sweating hard, suddenly became exciting. During the three hours after setting off, as they walked along the small river valley, the topic was always

Folks and midnight singing.

"Seriously, if something happened here, the police wouldn't be able to report it," Kou Xiao said. "My mobile phone has no signal."

"There will be a signal ahead," Huo Ran said. "It comes and goes. Do you want to call the police?"

"What did you call the police? Someone was singing in the middle of the night, and the three chicken wings we had left were stolen?" Kou Xiao sighed.

Kou Chen was very unhappy as he walked and poked around with his mountain pole: "If I meet any fellow villagers again, I will definitely rush over and catch them. If they are really crazy, the fellow villagers here will definitely..."

The sound of rolling stones came from behind, and there were a few faint echoes in the river valley.

Under their feet was a riverbed that was almost drying up. It was common for them to make such a sound when they stepped on a stone, but the sound was behind them and at a certain distance.

Several people turned around suddenly.

A figure flashed behind a slope.

"Fuck you, uncle." Kou Chen threw his backpack on the ground and chased after him.

Huo Ran had no time to stop him, so he could only throw the bag to the ground, swing the stick, and chase after Kou Chen: "Brother Yang, take care of your sister."

"Take care of yourself, Lao Yang, let's go!" Kou Xiao was anxious. Two minors ran over, and one was her biological brother. If something happened, she would be the one who returned and turned into a sausage.

The two of them threw the bag and chased after him.

If this was a plan to lure the tiger away from the mountain and steal the contract, they would basically have nothing left but the clothes on their backs.

The slope was very low. Kou Chen rushed to the top of the slope in a few steps and saw a piece of withered grass and a few sparse trees over there. The shapes were ugly, like a herniated lumbar disc.

There was a man dressed like an eminent monk running in the grass.

"Stay the hell!" Kou Chen yelled, jumped off the top of the slope, slid down to the flat ground on the floating soil, and continued to chase after him.

"Fuck." Huo Ran didn't want Kou Chen to chase him, but he also wanted to catch that person and find out what was going on. Otherwise, it would be too unsafe for them if they were traveling for several days.

He didn't have the same skill as Kou Chen. When he went down the slope, he slid down while squatting. When he ran out, he looked back and saw that Kou Xiao and Lao Yang slid down while sitting.

"Kou Chen, wait for me!" Huo Ran continued to run, "Don't be alone!"

"Stand!" Kou Chen ignored his request at all. He rushed as if he had been kicked and "let me fly". He ran on the bumpy ground as if he was sprinting for 100 meters on the track.

.

Why is he playing basketball at this speed? He should be introduced to the school track and field team!

Farmland could be seen far away, but the area they were in was a wasteland with only weeds and some leafless shrubs. Out of concern for the strange fellow villagers yesterday, he stared over there a few times.

, seeing no one in the field, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Ah——" A woman exclaimed from the front.

"Kou Chen!" Huo Ran roared.

"Come!" Kou Chen also shouted.

Huo Ran instantly outran the track and field captain. When he rushed over, he saw that Kou Chen had pinned the eminent monk to the ground.

The eminent monk was struggling wildly, grabbing Kou Chen's face and neck, and kept raising his legs to kick him.

Huo Ran rushed over and first held down the monk's kicking legs.

The eminent monk was very thin, so thin that when Huo Ran pressed his leg, he felt that it would break if he pressed it harder.

"Help! Don't kill me! Don't kill me!" The eminent monk began to shout, "Mom! Mom! Kill me! Kill me!"

"We won't kill you!" Kou Chen shouted, "We won't kill you! We are good people! Good people! Police! We are police!"

The eminent monk paused for a moment, and Huo Ran saw clearly that this was a woman, no longer young, probably in her forties, with a very dirty face and a smelly body.

The confused look in his eyes made him almost certain that this was a lunatic, and it was probably her who was wandering around the camp last night.

"Mom is here!" Kou Xiao shouted as he ran over, "Mom is here!"

"Holy shit!" Kou Chen took a moment to look at her while the eminent monk was struggling.

"Is she looking for her mother?" Kou Xiao asked as he ran.

"...Yes." Kou Chen was distracted and was slapped in the face by the eminent monk. He immediately became angry and turned around and shouted, "How dare you hit your uncle!"

The eminent monk did not calm down because of Kou Xiao, the fake mother. He still struggled desperately, mumbling indistinctly, and even sang a few lines in the middle.

Lao Yang bravely pulled out the rope from his trousers: "Tie them up first, there is no way to communicate."

After receiving the prompt, several people, including Kou Xiao, took out the drawstrings on their pants.

The scene was once very unbearable.

But at this moment, she couldn't care about anything else. Several people held down the eminent monk, and Kou Xiao tied up her hands and feet with drawstrings.

When he let go of his hand, the eminent monk finally calmed down and lay motionless on the ground, staring at the sky.
