38. Jiang Zhihan's Busy Life (Part 1)

There is no doubt that Jiang Zhihan had a completely different experience in the first semester of his second year of high school. Before last summer vacation, Jiang Zhihan had spent ten years in school. After ten years of hard work in ancient times, it should have been a day to take the imperial examinations to bear fruit. Many students complained from childhood to adulthood that they were overwhelmed. But for Jiang Zhihan, the situation was actually different. Jiang Zhihan was actually a smart guy in his bones. He was very good in terms of memory, understanding ability, and the ability to learn from others. These abilities or qualities

It just so happens that it is crucial for exam-oriented education. Therefore, it is not a problem for Jiang Zhihan to deal with his studies, and it is not necessarily very difficult. He just strangely lacks the motivation to take the top few places. During class, when he encounters repetitive things he has heard of, his mind is wandering around and thinking about it. After school, in addition to the most necessary homework (of course, he will also copy some), he rarely touches extracurricular practice or exam simulation. Because of this, he has never been a student with top grades since he was a child, and no teacher thinks he is a talented and smart student.

Jiang Zhihan is just one of the hundreds of ordinary students who are thrown into the crowd and disappear. He is of average grade, has a moderate talent, is generally hardworking, and does not like to speak. For Jiang Zhihan, time passes very slowly. A forty-five-minute class often daydreaming for two or three times but not over. The long summer vacation is usually boring and difficult. Even on a rare Sunday, he often feels idle and does not know where the goal is. He is in a daze. But six years of elementary school, three years of junior high school, and one year of high school, it seems like a snap of his fingers. Time is such a strange thing, sometimes very slow, but sometimes very fast.

This semester after the summer vacation, Jiang Zhihan had a different experience. On most days, time has to be squeezed out little by little for him. Practicing in the morning, meditating in the evening, practicing boxing in the evening, practicing boxing in the evening, and doing class hours that cannot be escaped, homework after class (even with Ni Shang's help), huge extracurricular reading plans, helping with mother's bookstore affairs, and incidents that are suddenly involved like Xiaoqian, each occupying his fixed or unfixed large amounts of time.

A young man under seventeen years old has been compressed to less than five hours of sleep. Fortunately, his excellent physique and practice will not affect his energy. Ni Shang once laughed at him and said that even if he does not reach the level of a prime minister, he is at least busy at the level of a president of a large company. In addition to all these things, don’t forget that the young Witt, who has just fallen in love, has to squeeze out a lot of time to talk to his sweetheart.

At the beginning, what drives Jiang Zhihan is more of a change of determination, some curiosity, and the young man's desire for success. But when he needs to complete these heavy tasks day after day, Jiang Zhihan undoubtedly needs more motivation to not give up. On the one hand, there is some small vanity and sense of accomplishment. For example, Jiang Zhihan can clearly feel the changes in physical fitness and the different meridians after practicing Qi. For example, he can also feel the improvement of his self-confidence and the changes in the attitudes of people around him towards him. The classmates respect him more and more and more, and are used to following his opinions. And the adults are becoming more and more concerned about him.

He is used to treating him as an object of equal dialogue and listens carefully to his advice. Jiang Zhihan can sometimes feel that he is far more mature than people of his age, and even sees more and more widespread than adults in some places. It is undeniable that this makes him feel a little proud. On the other hand, with the great expansion of his life experience, Jiang Zhihan is increasingly feeling the complexity and injustice of this world, and feels helplessness and powerlessness when facing injustice. He urgently wants to make himself stronger so that he can protect the person he loves, such as his mother and Ni Shang, will not be swallowed up by possible injustice at some point in the future.

Jiang Zhihan rose like a meteor this semester, and is one of the hottest topics of Class 2 and Class 3. If the initial bravery was not as true as the classmates, so they knew it unknown, the rise of the midterm exam and the speech-like comments in physics class had already made Jiang Zhihan awesome. Later, two classic duels at the sports meeting made him famous, as if he became an elite class with both civil and military skills overnight. However, Jiang Zhihan did not stay in school for a long time. Due to the many extracurricular matters that need to be dealt with, he often disappeared after school. When he was in school, he spent most of his time hang out with a few good friends, such as Chen Yimeng, Chu Mingyang, and Ni Shang. In the eyes of most of the students in Class 3, Jiang Zhihan had a little more mysterious feeling.

Most people are completely unaware of Jiang Zhihan's hard work after the scenery. Chen Yimeng and others know something, but not very detailed. Even her mother, Xu Rongrong, had no idea about many details. On the one hand, the bookstore management that had just started occupying a lot of her daily energy; on the other hand, since the summer vacation, Li Rongrong subconsciously trusted Jiang Zhihan, so she reached the point of blind trust. In her intuition, her son knew better than her, so she no longer cared about his time arrangements.

Ni Shang is the only one who knows every detail very well. The couple in love is always willing to share the details of each other's life. Jiang Zhihan not only shares his dreams, his reading plan, his time arrangement, his feelings, and his various new understandings of the world with Ni Shang, but he even talks with Ni Shang in detail about his so-called research results.

Alum was fortunate to participate in a research topic this semester, which was an analysis of certain aspects of the economic recession cycle during the energy crisis in the United States in the 1970s, including the performance of the capital market. The focus of that topic was not on the financial market, but Alum still shared some precious information and literature with Jiang Zhihan. Inspired by him, Jiang Zhihan recently conducted a special research on the performance characteristics of the financial market during two major economic crises: one was the Great Depression in the 1930s and the other was the energy crisis in the 1970s. Jiang Zhihan firmly believed that history was always repeated in the future in some way. If you thoroughly study history and understand history, one day it will help you foresee the future.

Ni Shang knows a general idea about things like the Great Depression and the energy crisis, mostly from political and historical books, and half from extracurricular reading. However, Jiang Zhihan's research focuses on the financial market, and involves a lot of in-depth information collection, data sorting, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Although Jiang Zhihan's research methods and systems are inevitably immature and have many impercise aspects, this has greatly exceeded Ni Shang's knowledge scope.

The longer he had contacted Jiang Zhihan, Ni Shang realized that he had slowly transitioned from curiosity to admiration for Jiang Zhihan, and now he even had some signs of admiration. Ni Shang felt that for some reason that he could not understand, Jiang Zhihan seemed to stand higher and see farther than her, or all his peers. So many times, she willingly held his hand and let him lead him to the goal ahead. Occasionally, sometimes, Ni Shang was worried that Jiang Zhihan would consider some issues that were not of this age too early, which distracted his energy. But she immediately convinced herself that Jiang Zhihan performed quite well in the exam. Ni Shang firmly believed that if Jiang Zhihan focused all his energy on preparing for the exam, he would definitely be able to surpass himself. But at the same time, she also knew that Jiang Zhihan would never do this.

This day was Tuesday and it was not so far from the end of the period. At noon, Jiang Zhihan chose to eat in the school cafeteria to accompany Ni Shang. After talking to Vice Principal Wen last time, Jiang Zhihan began to consciously pay attention to the details of the cafeteria, from the pricing of each dish to the overall layout and hygiene of the cafeteria, he carefully observed for a while.

The two of them had a meal, and as usual, they walked to the side of the basketball court and found a staircase and sat down. Today, due to various reasons, the few people who usually hang out with them were not present, leaving only the two of them. Jiang Zhihan had a fast meal and was solved in just a few strokes. Ni Shang was still chewing and swallowing slowly. Ni Shang often told Jiang Zhihan that eating too fast is not easy to digest and prone to gastritis. Jiang Zhihan replied that everything was fine when she was in her teens, and it was not too late to worry about these living habits when she was thirty or forty.

Jiang Zhihan wiped his mouth casually and said to Ni Shang: "I'm so busy tonight. I have to go to see Sister Xiaoqin first, and then to Chen Yimeng's house to meet his father. I don't know what these two are doing."

Ni Shang said: "That's how it is? Teacher Zhang will use it to do his own exercise classes in the first evening tonight. Isn't it good if you are not here?"

Jiang Zhihan said: "I can't care so much. Sister Xiaoqin has always been in the Three Treasures Palace for nothing. She is probably asking me for something new to Xiaoqian. I must go there. Speaking of which, I dreamed of that thing yesterday."

Ni Shang said: "Then why should I ask for leave for you? You are still fine during the day. I can't open my eyes and tell lies, saying you are sick, right?"

Jiang Zhihan pointed to Ni Shang's bowl and said, "It's such a bad meal and often ate insects. Just say I'll have diarrhea after having supper at school. At most, I'll make up for a sick leave note for Teacher Zhang another day. I'm very familiar with an aunt in the medical room in my mother's factory, so it's okay to open a sick leave note."

Ni Shang said: "Last time, the head teacher, Mr. Zhang, was talking about you in the teacher's lounge. He said you are very smart, but you are arrogant, have a distant relationship with classmates, and are not respectful to the teacher. I remember that Teacher Li from physics class also said some good things for you, and it seems that he appreciates you very much. But you still have to pay attention, after all, the head teacher's comments are still useful."

Jiang Zhihan frowned and said, "Am I very proud? Why do I feel ashamed of myself?"

Ni Shang smiled and patted him gently, saying, "Maybe you were too few when you stayed in school. Except for Chen Yimeng, Chu Mingyang, a few people, don't talk much to others."

Jiang Zhihan said: "Some guys are so naive that they are still pretending to be mature every day. How can they bear this?"

Ni Shang fiddled with the rice grains in the bowl, looked up at Jiang Zhihan, and said, "Don't eat it."

Jiang Zhihan smiled at her and said, "Although it's not delicious, don't you often teach me not to waste food? Chairman Ni, please set an example."

Ni Shang stuffed the lunch box into Jiang Zhihan's hand and said coquettishly: "Then please help me eat it."

Jiang Zhihan held this hot potato with a bitter face, but unexpectedly, a joke brought disaster to himself. In order to please the beauty, the sad expression became seventy-seven-pointed. Ni Shang couldn't help but burst into laughter and said, "Are you eating arsenic?"

Jiang Zhihan laughed and said, "Isn't this what the ancients said, "What kind of gossip is to die, and being a ghost is a romantic one."

Ni Shang sighed and said, "Then you go, I'll go and ask Teacher Zhang for leave later. Do you know that since I met you in the past few months, I have told more lies in front of my parents and teachers than I had in the past ten years."

Jiang Zhihan comforted her and said, "We are not doing anything that is sorry for our conscience. You know there is a word in English called hitelie, which is about telling this. These lies are harmless, and even for the sake of others' good."

Ni Shang said, "You, now you say everything you want." After a while, he tilted his head and asked, "Do you say that you will go to hell if you lie often?"

Jiang Zhihan almost spit out the rice grains that were raw in his mouth. He coughed twice and pointed at Ni Shang and said, "Chairman, you are the proletarian successor and atheist who is the focus of training in the school. You will be very disappointed in the organization in this way."

Ni Shang pouted gently and insisted: "What if there really is heaven and hell?"

Jiang Zhihan touched his nose with his index finger and said, "If you lie, you will go to hell. Don't worry, everyone in this world will be there, and heaven is empty."

Ni Shang asked: "Will you lie to me?"

Jiang Zhihan put his hand on his chest and swears: "I will definitely not tell anything except the lies of kindness."

Ni Shang snorted and said, "Spoken words and despicable."

Jiang Zhihan said seriously: "If one of the ten people in this world can go to heaven after death, I promise you will be in that team. You are the kindest girl I have ever seen who is willing to help others."

Seeing that he was serious, Ni Shang was moved and asked cunningly: "What about you?"
