1174. We have no shortage of imagination
Junjie's later success in the Chinese market made these Italian designers and design companies famous in China.
So many domestic automobile companies later chose to go to Turin to find partners and invite design companies to design for themselves.
But will Italians really design cars for you with all their best efforts? Nonsense!
What they value is the Chinese market more. As for giving you your best efforts, don’t dream. If they don’t cheat you into death, they will be right.
The Chinese automakers who flocked to the country made these Italian terribles happy. The originally competitive automobile design company in Turin was a breath of relief with the support of Chinese automakers.
But how did they do the Chinese auto dealers who came here with excitement?
They were able to make it, and took the four sets of drawings designed for Car A and handed them to Company B to choose. When they finally found that the two companies chose the same set of drawings, they just made small-scale modifications and then fooled them.
Who was the unlucky in the end? Of course, it was still a Chinese automaker. Everyone happily took the drawings and returned to China to start research and development and model construction factories.
When the car I made finally came, I got it and had a face-to-face accident at the auto show. Who do you think I can blame in the end?
Italians are bastards, but more of them should blame themselves for not being able to do so.
Italians are reliable, and old sows can climb trees. I have long known that the grandsons in Western Europe are not good birds. They spend so much money, so why can't I remember it? Cultivate talents in my own home and develop myself?
Admittedly, we are indeed behind them in terms of design concepts and methods. Is it really not as good as their brains?
How do Japanese designers and Korean designers live? How do they design?
Why can Toyota and Honda's leading models survive in the market for so many years and have changed so many generations, and still last for a long time and win praise from consumers?
To put it bluntly, people are willing to invest and retain talents for research and development, but they are not in our country.
Needless to say, large state-owned car companies are not willing to engage in R&D at all. R&D is expensive and troublesome, and it is not easy to make money. So, how can we make money with foreign investment and work in the future?
Private enterprises are generally family businesses or are also from township enterprises. Their vision is really not that broad.
Examples are byd, and Chery.
Byd doesn't make any appearance at all. They do the most direct way, just copy the appearance of the best-selling Japanese car. If it's easy to sell, I will copy the one.
If I buy Toyota's Crown in a small car, then my Crown will be the one.
Among the intermediate cars, the Honda Accord is the best seller, so I will copy the Honda Accord.
I think the Lexus is good, so I will copy the Lexus.
This approach does work quickly, and the domestic automobile culture is extremely immature. When the automobile market was just relaxed, everyone can still accept it. After all, you are just starting out.
Moreover, domestic consumers cannot be considered knowledgeable. When they see these models similar to joint venture cars, they like them and are more easily accepted.
But once three or five years have passed, if you continue to do this, and as consumers' horizons broaden, others will no longer buy your account.
Europeans will never be sincere and help us cultivate talents in automotive design.
But then again, are there really no talent in automotive design in our country?
No, definitely not!
Pan-Asian design, which was later established in Puhai, is an example, as well as the design company established by Mercedes-Benz in Beijing and the design studio of Puhai FAW. These all show that we Chinese are not lacking in brains, imagination and creativity.
As long as you can provide them with a good environment and training to bring hands-on and design skills to the right track, they can design cars with beautiful appearance and excellent performance.
For example, the Buick brand that later resurrected in the Chinese market was no longer sold in the United States. When they came to China, they directly introduced Opel's Yingsuoya into China and became the first generation of Regal and LaCrosse.
These two cars are sold very well with their beautiful appearance.
The later second-generation and third-generation models were actually improved by our Chinese designers. After each modification, wasn’t that hot sale?
As for Volkswagen's nesting dolls, it was even more written by Chinese designers. Although it is not worthy of praise, the market response is quite good.
There are also several Mercedes-Benz models...
These examples show that we Chinese people do not lack imagination and design capabilities, as long as you train them, provide them with venues and funds, and bring them on the right track.
And now Li Yifan has to do this.
The design inside the three-storey loft is also very postmodern, and Li Yifan likes the style here very much.
Today, because of his arrival, all the employees in the design company were here.
The company's leader is a girl named Wuyun Gaowa. This girl was specially invited back from Italy. She is a student from the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Later, I went to Germany and studied automotive design at shpszhein, the only automobile design school in Germany. After graduation, I joined Georgiaro's studio and engaged in automotive design.
A very capable person later was laid off due to a sharp drop in Georgiaro's orders during the financial crisis. Later, he returned to China and joined the Pan Asia Design Studio in Puhai.
Li Yifan has designed several very successful models wherever he has designed, and she is deeply impressed by her.
So when I first wanted to start this designer, I sent her an invitation letter.
Previously, his Chenhua Automobile Junjie model and Zunchi model were designed by Georgiaro, so it has some connection with Georgiaro, so it is not that difficult to contact her.
She also hesitated for a long time before choosing to return to China.
Li Yifan is suspicious of people and does not doubt people. As soon as Wuyun came back, he appointed her as the boss of this design studio. Her main character is not to innovate or design certain models.
Instead, as soon as possible, she taught the advanced design concepts she had learned abroad and the operating methods of design studios abroad to these students in China.
These students were selected by Li Yifan and her from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. They are all people with strong hands-on skills and really interested in cars.
