It can be said that this aircraft can be used to intercept high-altitude fighters. If you use this aircraft to fight against enemy fighters, you will die miserably.

However, Pokreshkin used this fighter and its modified MiG-3 to create miracles one after another, which shows that the ultimate factor that determines the outcome of the battle is still human!

And now, Pokreshkin's first contact with the Luftwaffe has suddenly arrived.

Behind him, the other three fighter jets also took off one after another. Instead of mobilizing more aircraft to come in immediately, they had to carry out missions in batches.

The reason is very simple. With just one wave of aircraft, they cannot complete the entire escort mission for the other party. Their range is limited and three waves of relay escorts are required.
