Chapter 3: War Means (2)

"bath?"

The Almani nobles who had climbed up from the ground sighed a second before, and jumped up in shock the next second, holding their bodies backwards.

"We can't take a bath! The dirt in our body can withstand the invasion of the Black Death. Once we take a bath, the pores will open up, and the Black Death will penetrate into our body!"

"…Where is this heresy?"

"It was the famous Paracelsus who said it! He said that it is not the body fluids that cause the disease, but the toxins in the environment..."

"I don't know what the Black Death is, but I met Paracelsus yesterday. He just came out of the bathhouse. Also, this is the pirate kingdom, and there is no Black Death. Even if there is, we have medicine to cure you!"

That being said, the group of Almani nobles still didn't want to take a bath. This made Bjorn feel impatient: "Listen, in the pirate kingdom, there is no one who doesn't like to take a bath. You really don't want to take a bath, but I vilified that I don't want to sit on the same boat with soldiers who have not taken a bath for a long time. If the smell on your body makes me unable to help, don't blame me for throwing you into the sea then!"

This sentence finally acted as a deterrent. The nobles of Almani bowed their heads obediently and walked towards the public bathhouse in Gotland under the leadership of two pirates.

"Bjorn, when are you so concerned about whether others take a bath?" Hestein asked, slantingly, "When you sail on a boat, your body will always smell bad, and you throw them into the sea?"

"That's what happened later," Bjorn smiled. "If you can be cleaner now, try to be cleaner, right?"

"I know Amy here is your comrade. You have a little comrade-in-arms relationship. Yes, I allow your team to sail half a day later." Hestein said lightly, "But don't think this can delay my movements. My subordinates have already assembled and don't need to take a shower. You can sail now. You can set off half a day later and paddle faster."

Bjorn smiled awkwardly and watched Hestein board the ship and leave.

"After all, it's Hestein's boss, who can't deceive him - so, what should I do next?"

After sighing like this, he swept his eyes to the last subordinate he brought: "Go and urge the group of Almani nobles to move faster, don't be too slow! After taking a shower, you're about to set sail."

But the nobles stayed in the bathhouse and refused to come out for a long time. When Bjorn walked over to see what was going on, he saw the nobles who had just crawled out of the bathhouse wrapping each other layer by layer with expensive cloth. The packaging work was halfway through, and the wrapped aristocrats, except for their eyes and mouths, were like a mummy.

"We need to protect our open pores," they explained, "or else, we will really take advantage of the Black Death."

Bjorn was speechless. By the time these Almani nobles finally rectified their equipment and arrived at the port again, the sun was already hanging high above the people.

"As agreed, it only took half a day." Eber was proud, "We risked our lives to take a shower, which is also worthy of your favor, right?"

Bjorn stared at his eyes, without saying a word, grabbed one of the nobles and threw them onto the boat: "The boss has been out of the sea for a long time, move quickly, chase after him!"

The nobleman was thrown into the boat and was still complaining: "Be gentle! Is there only this small boat? Why don't you even have a deck? You can't hold all of us..."

"You didn't let you come up!" Bjorn grabbed the two noble servants and threw them out of the ship. "You can only ride twenty people. If you can't go to the battlefield, don't get involved!"

"Wait a minute! What's going on?" Eber asked with a frown, "Can't we take our entourage to the battlefield? Who will carry our tribute? Who will take the weapons? Who will make the meal? After defeating the enemy, who will hand it over to clean up the spoils and keep the spoils in transportation?"

"There is no such thing in the Kingdom of Heroes, you can't go to the battlefield to fight without a follower. Isn't this ridiculous?"

It was not like a joke that Bjorn was a joke. The Almani nobles could only helplessly leave their entourage and board the ship alone. As soon as these nobles boarded the ship, coupled with Bjorn and the three pirates he brought, the ship was packed.

"Isn't this possible? Who will row?" Eber asked again, "You can't let us be the pulp hand, right?"

Bjorn asked back, "When you just grabbed the boat, weren't you ready to row your own paddle?"

"That's a escape, helpless thing." Eber was angry. "Even if you don't treat us as guests, as regular soldiers of the army, you have to be distinguished from the pulp hand! We can't do the pulp hand work, which is an insult to any noble!"

"And in the Kingdom of Heroes, sailors are warriors, and warriors are sailors."

Bjorn made a paddling gesture to the three pirates he brought, and he also picked up a paddle himself: "Since you don't want to row, then the four of us can do it. You lie down and rest - if you can lie down."

The long boat was designed to row forty pairs of oars and row, and at this time it was reduced to eight pairs of oars. Although they could still move slowly, they had to work several times. After driving this hard for a while, the boat finally entered the wide sea. The pirates opened their sails and saw that the boat was driving forward steadily under the guidance of the sails. Then they put down the heavy oars and began to breathe heavily.

"I have something to tell you, because you didn't do anything on the boat just now, and there is no portion for your supper today."

Bjorn looked indifferently at the noble Almani who was lying on the boat to rest.

"So, you'd better take advantage of the fact that you want to solve the food problem yourself. Otherwise, you'll go hungry at night."

"What did you say?" The nobles stood up from the boat in shock. "You obviously brought food, but let us solve it ourselves? On this sea?"

"Because you have not done anything, you are not qualified to get food." Bjorn said, "I think this is an eternal truth everywhere."

"But we are nobles!" they shouted, "nobles of the Federation of Almany!"

"What is a noble?" Bjorn still sat down and looked at the angry nobles calmly. "I am the son of Ragna, the hero king of the previous hero kingdom, the younger brother of Irish lord Ivar, the younger brother of Scottish lord Havdan, and the younger brother of Frisia and Sieged of Norway. Am I considered an aristocrat?"

This sentence asked the nobles of the Almani Federation.

"From the blood relationship..." Eber said hesitantly, "You are indeed a nobleman in the pirate kingdom."

"No, I'm not. Because Ragna is Ragna, Ivar is Ivar, Havdan is Havdan, Sigged is Siggade, I am me. They have become nobles in the heroic kingdom by their own strength, but now they are all dead, even if I shed their blood, what's the use?"

A sarcastic smile appeared on Bjorn's face:
