Chapter 12 The Principal Leaves (3)
Summer is slowly climbing up the land around the castle, and the sky and lake have turned into a more periwinkle blue, and the flowers bloomed in the greenhouse as big as a cabbage. In fact, this is not better than the castle, although everything here is ridiculously wrong.
Yaxi, Harry, Ron tried to visit Hermione, Pettier and others, but now the visitors are separated from the hospital lateral building.
"We don't take any adventures," Mrs. Pomfrey told them sternly through a crack in the hospital gate. "No, I'm sorry, there's a high possibility that the murderer will come back and get everyone out of the way..."
After Dumbledore left, fear spread like never before, so that the sunlight that warmed the castle walls stagnated outside the windows. It was difficult to see a face that was neither worried nor nervous on campus. The laughter echoed in the corridor was so sharp and deliberate, and it disappeared soon.
"At Hogwarts, our students will grow in difficulties. They will not be defeated by some difficulties, they even need difficulties!" Yaxi often copied the words before Dumbledore left in his heart, and he always felt that there was something in his words.
Hagrid's hints about spiders are much simpler to understand—the problem is that it seems that it is not just a spider to be tracked in the castle. At least Harry and Ron are starting to pay attention to a lot of things.
Of course, because they cannot wander around the castle alone and must act collectively with the rest of the Gryffindor, their activities are bound, and most students seem to enjoy being led by teachers from classroom to classroom.
However, one seemed to have great fun from this atmosphere of horror and suspicion. Draco Malfoy walked in the school arrogantly, as if he had just been assigned as the leader, and Dumbledore walked two weeks later, in a potion class, Draco boasted to Crab and Gole.
"I always thought my dad was the one who got rid of Dumbledore." He didn't want to lower his voice at all. "I told you that he thought Dumbledore was the worst principal of the school since its beginning. Maybe now we will have a principal who is already there. A person who doesn't want the mystery of the secret room to be closed. Professor McGonagall can't stay for long, she is just a substitute..."
Snape walked by quickly.
"Sir," said Draco, "Sir, why don't you apply for the principal's job?"
"Now, now, Draco," Snape said, "Professor Dumbledore was only suspended by his superiors. I dare say he will be back soon with us."
"Well, right?" Draco smiled foolishly. "I expect my dad to vote for you, sir, if you want to apply for this job, I will tell my dad that you are the best teacher here, sir..."
Snape smirked and swept across the dungeon, fortunately not finding Shemus who was pretending to vomit into the pot.
"I'm very surprised that people with Muggle ancestry have not put away their schoolbags at this moment." Draco continued. "Betting with you five Jin Jialong, who will die next."
Fortunately, just then, the bell rang, and just as Draco said the last few words, Ron suddenly jumped from his stool, and in the chaos of packing his schoolbag and books, no one noticed his attempt.
"Let me beat him." Ron growled. Harry and Ahi grabbed his arm, "I don't care. I don't need a wand, I'm going to kill him empty-handed-"
"Hurry up, I have to send you to the herb repository." Snape yelled above all the students' heads. Then they lined up in crocodile formations, Ashi and the others were at the end, and Ron was still trying to break free.
Only when Snape saw them out of the castle could he let Ron go. They walked over toward the greenhouse.
Everyone in the herbal class was very depressed, and Professor Sprout asked them to prune the withered fig trees.
"Ashi, are we doing nothing like that?" Ron whispered.
"Of course not, we are waiting for an opportunity!" Yaxi said.
"Ashi, at least we need to do something according to Hagrid's clue!" Harry said,
Hit Ron's hand with his pruned scissors.
"Oh! You're doing..."
Harry was pointing at a place a few inches away. Several large spiders were passing through quickly.
"Oh, yeah." Ron looked a little happy. "But we can't track them now..."
Harry watched the spider run away.
"It seems that they are heading to the forest..." Ron was even more unhappy about this.
At the end of the course, Professor Sprout sent them to the Black Witchcraft Defense class, and Ashi and the others were far behind others so that they could talk outside the listening range of others.
"We have to use the invisibility cloak anymore," Harry told Yashi. "We can take Teeth with us. It used to be with Hagrid to go to the forest, which would help us."
"Yes." Ron said. He was turning his wand between his fingers uneasy.
"Well—where—Isn't there anyone in the forest supposedly a wolf?" Ron added another sentence as they sat down in their seats in Lockhart's classroom.
Harry said, "There are a lot of good things there, and the half-man and half-maverick are good, and so are unicorns."
Going to the Forbidden Forest is definitely a bad thing. More importantly, for Ah Xi, it was just a useless work, so he decisively expressed his point of view.
Lockhart jumped into the classroom, and the whole class stared at him. The other teachers here were more calm and serious, but Lockhart was not lacking in optimism at all.
"Let's start now," he shouted, smiling around, "Why do you all have long faces?"
People exchanged angry eyes with each other, but no one made a sound.
"Don't you realize it," Lockhart said slowly, as if they were both a little stupid, "The danger has passed! The murderer has been taken away."
"Who?" Dean Thomas yelled.
"My dear young man, if the Minister of Magic had not been 100% sure that Hagrid was guilty, he would not have taken Hagrid away." Lockhart said in a tone that seemed to explain to people that one plus one equals two.
"Oh, yes, he will." Ron said in a much bigger voice than Darn.
"I think I'll know a little more about Hager's arrest than you do, Mr. Weasley," Lockhart said proudly.
Ron wanted to say he didn't think so, but when Harry kicked him hard under the table, he swallowed the words back.
"We're not there, remember?" Harry whispered.
