Chapter 2 Busy with the practice of the second force method

In the past, Master Mengxin's greatest pleasure was to practice Zen and drink every day, or to go to the flower shop to comfort the poor women, so that they could feel the vastness of Buddhism. However, when he got older, he only had to practice Zen and drink. After Mi Fang's death, he drank less alcohol.

"Master! Bitter medicine is harmful to health."

"Prajna Decoction is a poison that penetrates the intestines."

"Master, what should I do if I retire?"

"Master, do you have the heart to take me out?"

"Master! The wine smells really smelly on you."

Even though he arranged a lot of housework, under the lingering crisis of life and death, Maitreya's desire for knowledge was extremely prone to work quickly and readily. He also often acted cute and persuaded to quit drinking when studying. Although the old monk could not and did not intend to quit drinking, it was difficult to drink too much when facing him, so as not to overdone and put down important things.

Under Mengxin's teaching, Maitreya carefully studied the Buddhism of Zen and Pure Land Buddhism, as well as a series of Buddhist rituals, as well as the retreat technique used to deal with the cannibals and demons and the great enemy Naraku.

Unlike meditation and meditation, Buddhism, which mainly relies on theoretical knowledge and daily practice norms, the art of retreatment is a kind of mystery, with the main content of cognition of various supernatural ghosts, dealing with them according to their habits, and learning how to apply the mysterious spiritual power in the body.

The so-called spiritual power is the mysterious power in the human body and the embodiment of the soul, repelling the evil spirits of monsters and evil spirits. It is the supernatural power that ordinary humans on this land can rely on when facing various monsters and monsters.

Maitreya followed Master Meng Xin to initially inspire the spiritual power in his body, and then asked him for advice while personally exploring the characteristics of spiritual power in his body.

The initial spiritual power inspired by Maitreya is very weak. According to Master Mengxin, spiritual power is the embodiment of the soul and is closely related to body, spirit, will, etc., but the most important thing is to rely on the talented bloodline.

Some mages are born with strong spiritual power. Only by thinking a little bit can they purify evil spirits. However, no matter how hard they exercise their spiritual power, they will be difficult to make progress. He is the kind of person with low talent, and time travel does not bring him any benefits of talent bonus.

He is not afraid of being talented, but he is afraid of not having any talent or even hope. Maitreya doesn't care about Master Mengxin's unintentional blow, but just explores and studies it by himself.

After a series of research and exploration, Maitreya finally combined with the Buddhism he learned to propose a new idea to Mengxin, that is, spiritual power does not depend on the talented bloodline, but on the fact that everyone has spiritual power, and they are all equal. The so-called talent refers to how much the individual releases his own spiritual power, and the remaining spiritual power is blocked.

The so-called kings, generals, and generals, are they actually equal. This view is quite shocking in Japan. Monk Mengxin is no exception and a little surprised. Asked Maitreya, what hinders the spiritual power in the human body!

"It's a thought." Maitreya proposed the idea, and naturally thought of the answer.

"Nian?" Meng Xin was pressing against the wine drop, her face full of surprise.

"Yes, I think of ordinary people, monks, warriors, wizards, witches, all of them are: firewood, rice, oil and salt, good, evil, gods and ghosts, power, sex, money and profit, all of them are thoughts." Maitreya must nod.

"Why is there no spiritual power in the wood and stone without thoughts?" Meng Xin's eyes turned slightly, and pointed to the floor beneath her. The stone tower in the courtyard asked. Since thoughts hindered the spiritual power, why did the wood and stone without thoughts not have the spiritual power to subdue demons and eliminate demons?

"No thought is not thought, and clinging to nothing is also thought. The so-called no thought means that you should recite it when you think about it. If you don't think about it, you will be without it. It is easy to recite it, but difficult to control it!" Maitreya shook his head at Mengxin. The so-called no thought is also a kind of thought. The true no thought means that you should recite it as much as you want.

"How can I get rid of thoughts?" Meng Xin listened to the little guy's serious words and couldn't help but mutter ambiguously, "It's too complicated." However, due to his identity, it was difficult to ask. He could only ask how to eliminate thoughts and release the spiritual power in his body.

"Become a Buddha!" Maitreya stood in front of his chest with one hand and made a small joke, while Monk Mengxin was speechless for a long time and stared at him with his eyes.

"Uh, that, jokingly, I think you should do the three-no-leakage learning." Under the pressure of Master Mengxin's gaze, Maitreya couldn't help but feel embarrassed, and then asked again:

"Master, do you want to practice with me?"

"Don't even think about it, just come by yourself." Meng Xin vetoed.

The so-called three non-leakage learning refers to the three basic principles of Buddhism: precepts, concentration, and wisdom. We must keep the precepts from the beginning, which is something that Monk Mengxin will never do.

Monk Mengxin did not have the sword of Damolix hanging on his head, and there were wine insects as a worshiper, but Maitreya could not do it. With a practical attitude, he began his own journey of practice.

There are many Buddhist precepts. Maitreya followed Monk Mengxin to read several Buddhist scriptures and knew the most about the Five Precepts and Ten Virtues. The Five Precepts are not to kill, steal, commit adultery, do not lie, and do not drink alcohol.

The ten virtues are not to kill, steal, commit adultery, do not lie, do not slander, do not speak ill, do not speak frivolously, do not speak frivolously, do not greedy, do not be angry, and do not have evil views.

In Monk Mengxin's Dharma Nature Academy, Maitreya did not have many opportunities to break the precepts, so he is currently very good, and the precepts are very easy. He doesn't want to find many rules and regulations for himself, so he goes straight toward meditation and wisdom cultivation.

The so-called meditation is a Sanskrit word, which means "focus on a certain object", which is synonymous with meditation, purifying and focusing on one's own mind and will. Maitreya believes that this practice is the main thing to open up the spiritual power of the human body, so he is very focused.

The main purpose of meditation is to purify thoughts and make people concentrate. All major religions in the world have similar practices, and each sect has different names and practices. What Maitreya practices is the method of chanting Buddha's two powers in the "Buddha's Sutra" of the Pure Land Sect.

What is the power of others? The so-called power of others is the power of Buddha produced by the forty-eight great vows of Amitabha Buddha. Since self-power is the three resources of one's faith, vows and practice, there are three types of resources to accumulate. As long as you recite "Amitabha Buddha" and concentrate your thoughts on "Amitabha Buddha", you can get the help and protection of Buddha's power.

Maitreya's theoretical knowledge is very solid and he has found the method of practicing, but he has not sat in meditation and does not know what it feels like to meditation. He can only ask Master Mengxin for advice, but Mengxin has not sat in meditation either. However, he has heard some concepts of meditation.
