2. Surveillance

In the past two years, Xia Ji sat here, and the Sutra Library, which was crowded with front doors, became a cold palace.

There was no more martial arts here, but he turned it over and read almost all Buddhist scriptures.

The Buddha said: All dharmas have no self, and all sentient beings are suffering. Where does suffering come from? Only by having attachments and eliminating attachments can one understand the mind and see the nature and attain Bodhi.

But he didn't listen to a single word.

He turned over the "Prajna Heart Sutra" and recited it for nine days and nine nights. He extracted the skill bead "Don't Move the King Body (Ninth Level)". This skill bead was hidden in the Niwan Palace between his eyebrows. If you want, you just need to extract it. If you don't use it, you can save it.

He turned over the Diamond Sutra again, which said, "All conditioned dharmas are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows, like dew and lightning. You should make such observations." He ignored this, but he still recited it for nine days and nine nights and extracted the skill bead "Nine Yang Heart Sutra (Ninth Level)".

Afterwards, he recited the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" for nine days and nine nights, and extracted the skill beads "Eighteen Prison Tights (Ninth Level)".

Ksitigarbha once had a great aspiration, and he was not empty in hell, and he vowed not to become a Buddha. He did not have such a great aspiration, and if there were, it would not be this.

Because he is not a Buddha.

He was just a prince who had died and was imprisoned in the deep palace and was ignored.

There are not many ambitions, but there are many obsessions.

"The body is a Bodhi tree, and the heart is a mirror platform? Wipe it frequently and do not cause dust?"

Xia Ji shook his head and smiled, and sat in front of the window.

The deep winter sky of the northern imperial capital is like the battlefield where thousands of troops are rushing to death. The swan feathers are like broken limbs and broken arms, and snow flows into a river.

He has already searched through the entire scriptures of the Sutra Pavilion.

There are only three scriptures that can truly extract magical skills, and most of the rest extract some martial arts such as "Little Arhat Fist", "Tiger Fist", "Iron Cloth Shirt", "Golden Bell Cover", "Mantis Claw", "Overwill Finger", "Iron Cow", "Iron Cow Power", and "Tornado Fist". He didn't even read these skill beads and stuffed them into the soul and did not intend to use them.

If you can't eat too much, the more complicated the skills you know, the harder it will be to reach the supreme level. Anyway, Xia Ji thinks so. Before he travels through time, he has read some martial arts novels, such as the Murong family in Gusu and is well-versed in martial arts all over the world. Then Murong Fu can use different skills every time he changes his moves, but so what?

More is not good.

Therefore, he only took three gates: the body of the Unmoved King, the Nine Yang Heart Sutra, and the Eighteen Prison Conquering the Power.

Now, he is waiting for the Tathagata Sutra, because Leiyin Temple is a large temple near the imperial capital of the Shang Dynasty. In the past two years, he has discovered that the older the books and the supreme philosophical thoughts, the easier it is to extract magical powers.

Leiyin Temple appeared at the beginning of the founding of the Da Shang Dynasty.

The "Tathagata Sutra" is the Mahayana sutra from Leiyin Temple.

He needs this verse.

But can Xia Xiaosu get it for him?

He doesn't know.

But he no longer has any extra choices.

He only has one sister.

Just such a relative.

In the palace of the city, the second, fourth and eighth princess he just mentioned were excellent, but they were not as good as Xia Xiaosu's hair.

The snow fell all night.

The next morning, the snow stopped, and the palace maids brought simple white porridge and some small refreshments for meals.

Xia Ji thanked him gently, and after eating, he wanted to help the palace maid put the empty bowl back into the lunch box. The palace maid hurriedly grabbed the empty bowl back. Although the prince was in a bad mood, she could not afford to offend her.

But for some reason, the other princes had a huge aura, and they felt suffocated when they got closer.

Only the seventh prince is approachable, but although the palace maid felt so in her heart, she did not dare to talk offended. There were many rules in the palace, and no one forgot about the rules and the noble and humble, because all those who forgot had lost their heads.

The palace maid took a few steps and heard the sound of the seventh prince reciting the scriptures calmly from the Sutra Pavilion:

"Subhuti! Those who develop the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi mind should know and see all dharmas in this way, believe and understand, and do not give birth to the Dharma image. Subhuti! The Dharma image mentioned is the Dharma image of Tathagata, which is called the Dharma image."

The voice was calm and steady. The monk who often sat in front of the ancient Buddha in the green lamp made the palace maids feel much more peaceful.

The eunuch who was in a four-corner pavilion three hundred meters away nodded secretly.

Xia Ji has read Buddhist scriptures for two years.

The eunuch also secretly monitored him for two years.

The eunuch is a master. The people in the palace call him Eunuch Mei, who is the chief officer of the emperor's close attendant.

In the evening, Xia Xiaosu hurried to the Sutra Library with his cloth bag of Buddhist scriptures. Before he could get close to the attic, a fat and smiling eunuch came up.

When Xia Xiaosu saw that it was Eunuch Mei, she even lowered her head and gave in. Although she was a princess, she could not mess with a popular father-in-law at all. So she wanted to get close to say hello, and then passed by.

However, Eunuch Mei was obviously not ready to let her go. He held the whisk in his hand and stopped him in the middle of the way, whispering in the duck's voice: "The emperor asked the seventh prince to recite the Buddhist mistakes. The ninth princess should not bring some miscellaneous books to mess with the seventh prince's cultivation. If the emperor knew about this, he would be furious."

Xia Xiaosu was so scared that her eyes were wet. She hurriedly said, "Eunuch Mei, this is just the current Tathagata Sutra from Leiyin Temple. My brother asked me to borrow it to see it."

Eunuch Mei's eyes moved, "Is this really an eye-opener for our family? The Seventh Prince really devoted himself to seeking Buddha?"

Xia Xiaosu nodded repeatedly: "Brother is kind and has compassionate hearts. He has been reciting scriptures for the past two years..."

"Take it to our house."

Xia Xiaosu had no choice but to hand over the cloth bag.

Eunuch Mei opened the cloth bag, and indeed there was an ancient scripture in it.

"My father-in-law, be careful. I finally asked the abbot of Leiyin Temple that he borrowed it and will return it in three days."

"Our family knows that there is no need for the princess to give me some advice."

While speaking, Eunuch Mei quickly checked the scriptures. The Buddhist atmosphere of the Great Shang Dynasty was strong, and Leiyin Temple was near the imperial capital. This eunuch had good skills, so he could naturally tell whether it was a martial art.

He turned from beginning to end and looked back and forth several times. After a stick of incense, he couldn't pick up any thorns, so he handed the scripture back with a cloth, and said with a fat face with a smile: "Ninth Princess, go in quickly, this brother and sister can meet you every day."

Xia Xiaosu didn't know what the eunuch meant, and she didn't want to ask. She felt relieved and hurriedly wrapped the scriptures, walked through the corridor, and knocked on the door of the attic.

"Brother, it's me."

"Come in."

Xia Ji put down the Diamond Sutra to recite.

"Brother, this is the "Tathagata Sutra" you want. The abbot of Leiyin Temple agreed to lend me three days, and my brother must return it to me in three days."
