Chapter 25 Prepare first

"In a few more hours, we will miss the best time to destroy the Joint Fleet, and maybe we will never encounter such a good opportunity again."

Ma Mingtao pushed Zhou Yusheng for a while and said to Mu Haoyang: "Stop it if it should be done, don't hesitate."

Mu Haoyang still smiled and said nothing.

It’s not that he doesn’t have the courage, but that he knows that the top leaders have not made decisions, which must be very important reasons. Otherwise, Huang Zhibo would not have repeatedly told him not to act rashly.

"No matter what, prepare for the attack first." Yang Yufang sighed secretly.

In many cases, it is not the soldiers who make the decision, but the politician.

Mu Haoyang nodded and said, "Be prepared for attack first, and assign tasks to the attacking forces according to the joint fleet entering Port Blair."

“Is there a need for combat mobilization?”

"Sort missions first and let the pilots concentrate." Mu Haoyang hesitated for a moment and said, "Preparing for battle, replenishing fuel for the fighter jets, and mounting ammunition."

Yang Yufang did not hesitate and immediately issued an order to the two aviation combat commanders by phone.

Ten minutes later, the pilots of the two aircraft carriers all entered the aviation center, and the aviation combat commander assigned combat missions.

On the aircraft carrier, the corresponding preparations are carried out at the same time.

Because both aircraft carriers are equipped with combat aircraft according to the highest standards, and according to the strike tactics formulated by Yang Yu's side, forty fighter jets and one early warning aircraft will be dispatched, so the tidal operation method can only be adopted, that is, let the fighter take off and then let the fighter jets land.

In this way, the air service personnel must first let the fighter plane tied to the flight deck take off.

According to aviation combat standards, the fighter jets tied to the flight deck are mainly J-25s, because only in this way can air-controlling fighters take off when an emergency occurs. Therefore, when arranging tactics, the j-25, which is responsible for the escort mission, will take off first.

Doing so can effectively extend the attack range of the aircraft fleet.

However, each aircraft carrier only dispatched a cross j-25, and the j-25 tied to the flight deck must be more than a cross.

In addition to leaving four J-25s to deal with emergency situations, the other six must be transferred to the hangar before the J-15b takes off in order to free up the flight deck and allow the J-15b fleet to take off at the maximum density, otherwise fighter jets would have to gather and standby over the fleet.

This is definitely a hassle for the air service staff.

Fortunately, the Chinese Navy has more than ten years of experience in using aircraft carriers and has been training in accordance with the standards of large-scale naval warfare.

In large-scale naval battles, tidal operation method is the most important tactic of aircraft carrier application.

According to the standard combat procedures, in addition to the j-15b tied to the flight deck, other j-15bs will complete take-off preparations in the hangar to shorten the deck occupation time. In order to maximize the utilization efficiency of the catapult, after the j-25 takes off, the j-15b picked up from the hangar will be first ejected, and then the j-15b that is prepared on the flight deck. Only in this way can forty fighters be launched within fifteen minutes.

However, within these fifteen minutes, the fleet will not have any air defense cover.

It can be said that only at this time can the "Yangtze River" class aircraft carrier reach the launch momentum of forty aircraft.

If you are active in dangerous waters, each aircraft carrier needs to arrange at least four air defense fighters, and you must prepare four air defense fighters on the flight deck that can be launched at any time, as well as one for early warning aircraft. Therefore, in any case, it is impossible to take off forty fighters within fifteen minutes. Extending the launch time of the fighter jets will shorten the strike radius. If the combat radius of 1,200 kilometers is based on the maximum lift-off time, the aircraft group will take off at most fifteen minutes, because the fuel consumed by the first j-25 in the fifteen minutes is equivalent to flying 300 kilometers, while the j-25 is performing escort missions, the maximum combat radius is only 1,500 kilometers.

Sending forty fighter jets within fifteen minutes is also the ultimate ability of the "Yangtze River" class aircraft carrier.

Although in theory, electromagnetic catapults can eject one fighter every twenty seconds, in actual operation, this speed will definitely not be achieved. The reason is very simple. The theoretical value is based on the standard situation, that is, the fighter takes off according to the standard combat load, and the electricity consumed is only two-thirds of the maximum take-off weight. If the fighter takes off at the maximum load, the ejection speed of the electromagnetic catapult will be reduced to one every thirty seconds. In this way, the "Yangtze River" class aircraft carrier can theoretically eject sixty fighter jets within fifteen minutes. The problem is that in operation, the quality of officers and soldiers is very important, so it is very good to be able to eject three fighter jets per minute.

Including the time between the takeoff between the J-25 aircraft group and the J-15b aircraft group, the limit is that forty fighter jets are ejected in fifteen minutes.

In previous training, the highest record between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River was to eject forty-two and forty-one fighter jets in fifteen minutes.

Whether this level can be achieved in actual combat remains to be tested.

Two hours later, at around 2 a.m., the aviation department completed all preparations, and ten pilots and ten navigators who participated in the escort operation put on special anti-Dutch suits.

According to the Navy's requirements, the j-25 is all two-seater type, and there is no single-seater type.

In order to enhance the maneuverability of fighter jets, the Air Force and the Navy jointly developed a new anti-Dutch server to ensure that nine g overloads can be made under any circumstances. If the pilot has undergone rigorous training, it can also increase the overload to twelve g in a very short time in a specific environment.

You should know that before this, no fighter could achieve a maneuvering overload of twelve g.

Of course, this is only for j-22 and j-25. Because it was designed earlier and there was not enough structural margin, the maximum overload of j-15b was only nine g, and even j-20 could not make twelve g maneuvers.

This is also the reason why the Navy chose the J-25 as the main air-controlling fighter.

However, until this time, Mu Haoyang still did not receive a call from Huang Zhibo.

This annoyed him a little, and even made him decide that it was necessary to make a quick decision as Ma Mingtao said.

However, by this time, Mu Haoyang had not received any news about the Joint Fleet.

Although according to previous inferences, the joint fleet had arrived outside Port Blair and might have entered the port, it would take an hour before the reconnaissance satellites controlled by the Second Division would pass over the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, and the news could be sent as early as the early morning...15th.

In other words, it will not be until this time that we will know whether the Joint Fleet has entered Port Blair.

This is also the last chance to attack the Joint Fleet, because according to theoretical calculations, the Joint Fleet can obtain the necessary fuel within four hours while anchoring, and then leave Port Blair. It takes at least two and a half hours from the launch of the fighter to the completion of the attack.

In other words, if the joint fleet enters Port Blair on time, Mu Haoyang will have to issue an offensive order halfway before...
