Chapter 279 The Three Laws

Chapter 279 Three Laws

As the "mother of humans in the universe", Lu Wen has made two special contributions. First, in the field of science and technology, he led the development of a space propulsion system, that is, an anti-gravity field propulsion system, which laid the foundation for human beings to move towards deep space in the universe. Second, in the field of humanities, he proposed three laws of cosmic sociology, which laid the foundation for human civilization to discover alien civilizations after entering deep space in the universe and deal with the relationship with alien civilizations.

These two major contributions are indispensable.

For humans in the universe, the former is the material basis, and the latter is the spiritual basis.

If Lu Wen had only made one of these contributions, she would not have received great recognition from later generations.

Even hundreds of years later, the three laws of cosmic sociology proposed by Lu Wen are still regarded by humans in the universe as the iron law for dealing with alien civilizations.

These three laws are:

1. Alien civilization still applies to the Darwinian theory of evolution of "survival of the fittest".

2. Any highly evolved civilization has a tendency to reproduce infinitely.

3. Different civilizations always have suspicion and fear when they first come into contact.

These three laws fundamentally explain the essence of cosmic civilization.

A systematic explanation of these three laws can be summarized as: any species can only grow and grow in competition and internal competition, and then generate a statement of wisdom and further develop into civilization. This civilization generated through competition is the first element, and reproduction is a prerequisite for survival. It will tend to be based on the infinity of natural resources at all stages of civilization, and this tendency will directly lead to resource depletion. Therefore, resources will become the key factor that restricts species reproduction, stimulates internal competition, and promotes species evolution. Relying on the development mode of resources, any civilization entering the cosmic stage focuses on controlling and obtaining resources when interacting with other civilizations. The differences between different civilizations and the violent cultural tendency caused by competition will inevitably lead to suspicion and fear, and eventually evolve into conflicts between civilizations. As a result, the law of survival of the universe still applies to the "salary of the weak" law of survival.

With these three laws, it is not difficult to understand how to communicate with alien civilizations.

For humans, it is obviously too weak. Any alien civilization that can come to the solar system can easily destroy humans.

It can be said that at this stage of cosmic civilization, human beings are still newborn babies.

These three laws fundamentally guide human cosmic adventure activities.

In the initial stage, these expeditions were almost all undertaken by China alone. Especially in the first fifty years, China's dominance in aerospace technology made China almost control human aerospace activities alone, effectively avoiding destruction.

At that time, the first influence was the establishment of the "Aerospace Affairs Committee".

In name, the main responsibility of the committee is to coordinate allies to participate in the construction of space stations and jointly promote the aerospace cause of human civilization. In fact, the fundamental task of the committee is to prevent any other country from developing, mastering and using anti-gravity field propulsion technology, prevent any event that is sufficient to destroy human beings, and systematically control human aerospace activities.

The first chairman of the committee was Mu Haoyang.

At this time, Mu Haoyang was already the Grand Marshal of China, and the War Department had been dissolved, and the General Staff Department was also reorganized into the Chiefs of Staff Council.

After Mu Haoyang served as chairman of the committee, the first thing he did was to adopt Lu Wen's suggestion and deploy a gravity field fluctuation detector in asteroid space.

There is no doubt that this is an extremely large-scale project.

The asteroid space is located between the orbit of Mars and the orbit of Jupiter. Scientific research has shown that the millions of asteroids distributed in this space are the remains of a terrestrial planet with a volume and mass slightly larger than Mars. This terrestrial planet occurred about 3 billion years ago for some unknown reason. In addition to the generation of millions of asteroids, it also contributed more comets to the solar system. To put it simply, after the big explosion, the radial velocity became an asteroid in the orbit plane, and the rest became comets.

This project is to deploy about 12,000 gravity field fluctuation detectors in asteroid space. The detectors will be deployed without exception on a larger asteroid, such as Ceres, to use asteroids as barriers to monitor the fluctuations of gravity field in the solar system.

At first, Mu Haoyang thought this project was a bit crazy.

You know, when Lu Wen proposed this project, humans had not yet landed on the moon again, and even flying to Mars only existed in the plan.

Fortunately, this project is not crazy.

In early 2058, Lu Wen came up with a feasible plan, namely, using the construction of the International Space Station to regularly launch gravity field fluctuation detectors into asteroid space. To be precise, it is a spacecraft carrying gravity field fluctuation detectors, and these spacecraft will not stay in asteroid space. After releasing the gravity field fluctuation detector, it will scientifically explore the four giant planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus, and will also conduct scientific research on Pluto in the future.

Stars, Charon, which forms a dual planetary system with Pluto, are scientifically explored with the Bird God and Ohdo in the Kuiper belt, and the more distant Olter Cloud. If possible, they will also be used to perform some more important aerospace scientific exploration missions. For example, search for the Earth-like planet that scientists have predicted that it is in the same orbit as the Earth, which is 180 degrees apart, that is, the so-called "Earth Mirror Planet".

Of course, the most important detection tasks are concentrated in asteroid space.

For humans, the most recent treasure is likely to be the millions of asteroids located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

Scientists have discovered many larger asteroids such as Ceres, Zhishen, Huishen and Vesta, and have also predicted that some asteroids have extremely valuable natural resources. For example, more than half a century ago, American astronomers detected an asteroid with a diameter of more than 100 kilometers and consisting entirely of iron ore, or a huge iron meteorite, and the iron element it stores is 10,000 times the total iron ore reserves in the earth's crust. Scientists also predict that there is a very likely one, or multiple asteroids made of heavy metals in the asteroid belt. For humans, these not too far away asteroids are definitely priceless treasures.

It can be said that the huge value of asteroids cannot be measured by wealth at all, and they should pay more attention to their significant role in the future development of mankind.

For example, when flying deep into the universe, you can establish a forward base on the asteroid belt and use the resources on the asteroid to produce and build spacecraft. You should know that the gravity of asteroids is very small, the space activities are more convenient, and it is very close to the large planet in the middle of the solar system.

In Lu Wen's plan, she will use a large number of spacecraft to detect asteroids.

Fortunately, although this project is huge in scale, it is not difficult to implement. Especially after the production technology of gravity field shielding materials is improved, it is basically a simple industrial production task. As for gravity field fluctuation detectors and carrier spacecraft, they are all unmanned.

Of course, this project has also promoted the rapid development of another technology.

This is quantum communication technology.

In this project, the biggest trouble is communication. If traditional communication means are used, the information sent by detectors deployed in asteroid space will take one hour or even several hours to be transmitted back to the earth. Moreover, the power of the communication equipment must be large enough, and the electromagnetic wave signal will have sufficient strength when it is transmitted back to the earth, and it will be intercepted by communication satellites in the earth's orbit.

If there is a more effective means of communication, these problems can be solved.

There is no doubt that the most effective means of communication is quantum communication technology.

According to quantum theory, no matter how far apart one of the quantum changes, the other quantum will change immediately without being limited by the speed of light. In other words, communication technology based on quantum theory is no longer limited by the spatial distance, and can transmit information in an instant no matter how far apart the space distance is.

The problem is that it seems to be more difficult to overcome quantum technology than to overcome anti-gravity field technology.

In fact, quantum communication technology was not released until fifty years later, even after all 12,000 sets of gravity field fluctuation detectors were deployed.

Of course, it is undeniable that the projects planned by Lu Wen directly promoted the great development of human beings in the field of quantum technology.

Later, after the completion of the International Space Station, the "International Space Physics Experimental Center" project led by China and participated by more than 30 countries was launched. The core of the project is to build a space experiment center that can accommodate 10,000 scientists in the geosynchronous orbit. What's even more crazy is that a high-energy particle accelerator around the earth will also be built on the geosynchronous orbit!

Later, it was this huge particle accelerator that made humans knock on the door to quantum theory.

There is no doubt that these are huge projects that burn money.

In fact, this is also the basic international policy implemented by China after the war, that is, through large-scale money-burning projects, digest the productivity developed during the war, create a large number of jobs, promote economic development, and gradually reduce national spending in the decades after the war.

Fortunately, huge investment in scientific research has also promoted economic development and improved production efficiency.

However, it is definitely not something that is optimistic about how long this scientifically explored economic development model can last.

You should know that the massive resources invested in the field of science are equivalent to diluting social wealth and also planting a time bomb in the economy.

In a sense, this development model will come to an end sooner or later.

It is also true that more than a hundred years after the end of World War III, China had to announce the amazing discoveries it made in 2057.

No matter what, scientific exploration is endless.

On the road to the depths of the universe, human beings can take the first step, and the number one hero is Lu Wen.
