Section IX Finale
Final Chapter 9
At dawn, the green skins stepped on the land that still had residual heat and quickly passed through the jungle where countless murderous intents had been hidden. Now, the dense forest only left a tragic scene after the flames. The once lush land now had only black ashes. There were no more ambush enemies, and the green skin rushed to the previous cliff without any loss.
The trees that had originally covered the green skin's vision were gone. Therefore, after only a little time searching, the green skins found the hillside that was used to climb over the cliff. They rushed over the hillside and came to the position where the simple earth wall was built - the earth wall has been made higher and stronger in the past two days. Standing on the position that had paid a huge price but had not occupied it, Budguz was filled with the joy of victory.
"Everyone listen, catch the hairy little guy and kill them all! Grill them all and eat them!"
Because it was separated by the cliff, the forest on this side was not affected. But Budguz had already thought it was clear that once he was resisted here, he would continue to burn it. Burn everything and burn all the hairy little guys to ashes! Just burn the land piece by piece.
"Do you want to ignite the fire? Boss!" Looking at the woods in front, a goblin suggested.
"Wait a minute, let's send a small team to see. The little guys may have gone to other places." Budguz is not a fool. The little guys have no forest cover, but they still have magic. And there are still a few restless people in his team, counting on the leader's position.
...
"We must evacuate here!" Ashu Rufate told the Great Elder again.
"No, there are cemeteries of our ancestors here, and there are everything we cherish here! We cannot give up the village, we cannot throw them to the green skin. Moreover, the Mother of the Earth can wake up at any time! She will save us!"
"But she hasn't woken up yet, right?" If he fought head-on, he knew that these cat-like residents could not beat the cruel green-skinned ones. But these cats were so stubborn!
"Retreat for the time being, we will come back sooner or later." For the first time, he felt that he was making the futile attempt that was doomed to fail. These guys were not cat men, but stone men! He repeatedly emphasized so many times, but the great elder (and some others) was unmoved. You should know that their advantage is to use their talented color change and hiding ability to engage in guerrilla warfare with green skins in the jungle, rather than blowing arrows against the cold blades of green skins on the front battlefield.
"We cannot retreat." The Great Elder replied.
"Ashu Rufat, the green skin is here!" Mimilu rushed in from outside and reported loudly.
"The last chance. Do you want your compatriots to die, or to retreat?" Ashu Rufate finally lost his patience. At this time, every second is precious.
"We will fight hard," replied the Great Elder. "I am very grateful for your help, and you commanded well. But now, this is our war."
Ash Rufat made a series of curses. This was a subconscious action that was completely instinctive. It took a few seconds to realize what he had just said. These swear words were familiar and unfamiliar. He didn't remember hearing these words anywhere, but it was obvious that he had said them more than once - before he came into contact with Qin Xin.
He walked out of the cave with great strides, threw away the sword in his hand, took off his helmet, and took off his breastplate. The next moment, a set of red armor appeared on him, which was a strange and evil shape, red as blood. The unclean breath of darkness wrapped around the armor. Another completely different sword was in his hand.
"Ashu Rufat...you..." Mimilu was so surprised that she couldn't speak.
"Mimilu, are you afraid that I will do this?" Ashu Rufat asked suddenly.
"No, don't be afraid. Ashu Rufate or Ashu Rufate...everything is the same as before." Mimilu jumped to Ashu Rufate's feet and rubbed his head against Ashu Rufate's thigh.
"Mimilu, don't be afraid no matter what I do later!" Ashu Rufat reached out and gently touched Mimilu's head. Mimilu's hair was soft, and although it was through the iron gloves, it was still very comfortable to touch.
"Master, I strongly recommend that you not be so impulsive. I estimate that your risk is as high as 100%..." Ashu Rufate forced Carrie's words out of his mind and walked straight to the battlefield in front of the village.
"Kill... Kill... Kill the little hairy guy!" From a distance, the green goblins let out bloodthirsty screams and rushed up in groups.
The arrows immediately started shooting. However, the goblins covered their bodies with shields, and only a few goblins were shot and fell down. They rushed forward and were about to enter melee, but suddenly, their feet collapsed. Five or six goblins fell into the trap dug in advance and were pierced by the pointed wooden stakes inside.
The remaining goblins were at a loss for a moment. The next wave of blowing arrows came, and this time the effect was much better than the first wave, and more than a dozen goblins were shot down.
The goblins' courage was instantly dispelled. They turned around and ran away, exposing their defenseless backs to the enemy, and shot them again, knocking them down in groups. Most of the goblins died in this attack, only a small part of them escaped and immediately ran away.
However, this is just an advance detachment. Their large force has not arrived yet-and it will not be too long.
"You guys, go to the hill on the left! You go to the hill on the right." Ashurufat began to send troops. The Semu tribes looked at Ashurufat's posture in surprise, but they still obeyed the order.
"Concentrate all the combat claws and use them on the front! Those who go to the hills only need to bring blowing arrows!" Damn, why do these guys even have so few such simple wooden claws? They can't even make it two for one person?
"Master, what do you want to do?" Carrie asked in her mind.
"I will use flame magic to attack the first wave."
"Then what?"
"Use black magic to resurrect the corpses of those goblins and temporarily block the goblins. It's better to scare them away..."
"What if you don't scare away? What are your plans?"
"What a shit plan! Of course, I went up by myself and cut all these goblins!" Ashu Rufate was almost crazy. Why did everyone think he had any plans?! He was not Thomas! He was just a group of cat people who knew nothing but blew arrows.
Budguz led all his troops to appear at the end of the mountain road. The previously defeated goblin informed him of the situation here. The hairy little guys were waiting here. Very well, this is a very suitable venue for the final decisive battle.
But the hairy little guys dug traps on the road, and there may be ambushing on the hills on both sides. These hills do not get up, but the hairy little guys should be able to climb up.
Well, rushing over is not a good choice. Budguz laughed, revealing his sharp teeth.
"Boys, light the fire and burn the hills on both sides!
A small group of goblins were clamoring to start lighting the fire. They first lit a few dead branches, and then each hand had a torch and ignited the fire everywhere.
The little guy with long hair must be very uncomfortable. If they rushed over, their trap would be ruined. If they did nothing, hehe, then wait for the heat wave of flames to be smoked out of the village! Even if they endured the heat wave, the village and forest behind them would definitely be affected by the flames.
Do they want to fight Budguz head-on? Then Budguz doesn't fight them head-on. Hahahaha...
"They ignite, Ashu Rufate, what should I do?" A Semu jumped in front of Ashu Rufate. In fact, it was not necessary for him to say that the thick smoke from afar said everything. The goblins were igniting, at least trying to ignite.
"We should retreat." This is the most correct order, but he did not say it. Because he knew that these cat men would not allow their village to be burned. These damn stone minds! He had no choice but to attack.
Everyone was looking at him, staring at him, waiting for his orders. And he knew that he was asking these little guys to die.
"Okay, boys, don't set fire. They're here!" Budguz ordered happily. "They're here to die!"
The goblins immediately lined up, grabbed their weapons, and looked forward to the massacre.
The earth shook a little.
More than one green skin looked down at his feet. But this time the vibration was not the effect of magic, but something hit the ground heavily. Because with the vibration, a dull sound came.
"Old...Boss!" A panicked goblin ran from the slant. "Monster! Monster is here!"
Actually, he didn't need to emphasize that all the goblins saw that monster because this monster was too big.
In the jungle, a huge figure was standing. The monster's whole body was accumulated by stones and trees. This body was so huge that even the thickest tree seemed to be the same as a hair on it.
As soon as the monster stretched his hand down, the earth was attracted by it, and more stones and plants were absorbed on its body, making its body stronger.
The monster walked towards this side. Its movement seemed slow, but the span of one step was amazingly large. Even the highest goblin could not reach its instep.
The goblins' fighting courage flew away instantly. When the monster took the second kick, all Budguz's subordinates lost control and fled in panic. They stepped on the third kick, crushing several goblins who were still in motion to pieces.
However, to their surprise, the forest, which had just been burned to the point where only charcoal was left, had become lush and lush again. The forest ravaged by the flames was once again covered with big trees in the sky. Under the trees were countless shrubs and vines. The goblins were startled by the strange scene. But they had no time to hesitate because the monster behind had already chased.
