Chapter 7 The Shadow in the Mirror
After rushing Zheng Lun to study, Zheng Jing returned to his room, lay on the bed, and began to think about everything he had encountered before.
Unlike the earth where Yue Chuanzhen is located, although the world where Zheng Jing is located is also called the earth, its history is completely different. This earth was peacefully reunified a hundred years ago and formed the Earth coalition government.
The coalition government divides the earth into nine regions, each region has certain autonomy, but the center of power is in the coalition government.
The nine major regions are Washington, Cherry Blossom Region, Aopai Region, Printing and Gambling Region, US-Canada Region, Latin America Region, Golden Eagle Region, Egyptian Region, and Dongyou Region.
Zheng Jing lives in Furongjiang City, Bailong River Province, northeast of Huafu District.
Whether it is the Washington region or other regions, it is not easy to go to college. Only the best group of people have the qualifications, and the value of a university is not comparable to that of the pheasant universities everywhere in Yue Chuanzhen's memory.
Only less than one-tenth, or even fewer high school students, are qualified to get into college, and Zheng Lun's academic performance has always been among the best, so Zheng Jing has high hopes for him.
Zheng Jing himself dropped out of high school after graduating from high school. Although he is good-minded, he obviously has no energy to enter university while supporting his family.
After several years of working, Zheng Jing felt that he was not suitable to be a factory dog, so he used his family's savings to try to start a business. However, starting a business is not that easy. He knows nothing and broke into society like a bald orangutan, but ended up bleeding from his head.
Fortunately, he still has some ability to not ruin his family's fortunes, so that the two brothers would not have to sleep on the streets.
Finally, Zheng Jing decided to follow his interests and become a big detective. After two years of self-study, he successfully obtained a detective business license in Helbin, the central city of Bailong River Province. However, he encountered Waterloo as soon as he entered the industry.
Zheng Jing is a very realistic person. He likes to read novels and comics about gods and ghosts, and also likes to watch science fiction blockbusters. Just like the recently released "The Forgiver League" series, he likes to watch it very much, but he never thought that those things would appear in the real world.
In his mind, most of Yue Chuanzhen's memories remained, but they could no longer affect him. But those memories were undoubtedly telling Zheng Jing that there was really a world beyond his imagination, and that his experiences in the past few days were not hallucinations...
As he thought about it, Zheng Jing suddenly laughed out loud. Yue Chuanzhen's memory had memories of another world. Doesn't this mean that he could make money by "drawing from" Yue Chuanzhen's memory and writing novels and arrangements?
Being a great writer is much better than being a third-rate detective, especially if you don’t have much savings at home, which may not be able to support Zheng Lun’s college visit.
He sat at the table excitedly. When he really picked up his pen, he didn't know how to write it. Yue Chuanzhen seemed to remember the novels in his memory very clearly, but when he really wanted to write, he was extremely vague and could not start writing at all.
Not only novels, but even the melody of the song cannot be hummed...
After thinking about it for more than an hour, there was no useful thing to come up. Zheng Jing smiled mockingly. Then Yue Chuanzhen might be the so-called virtual character created by A-2-104. How can the things in the memory of a virtual character be real?
Perhaps because of the injury before, Zheng Jing was a little dizzy and swelling after thinking for more than an hour, as if something vague was about to come out of his mind.
He came to the bathroom downstairs, washed his face, and after he woke up, he looked at the mirror and remembered everything that happened in the deep dream. After that, he turned around in a row in front of the mirror several times, without any delay in his figure in the mirror. Zheng Jing nodded with satisfaction.
The two people in the mirror had their expressions synchronized and they nodded neatly.
Two people...
Zheng Jing's face changed drastically, and his heart almost stopped suddenly. Behind him in the mirror, there was a blurred white shadow, judging from the blurred facial features on the white shadow.
That's... Yue Chuanfax!
Zheng Jing held the soap and turned his head suddenly to look. There was no one behind him!
Then he turned around blankly, and there was no sign in the mirror. Zheng Jing breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that it was his hallucination before. Yue Chuanzhen had been killed by Meng Yan, so how could he appear in his house? It must be that he had been too stimulating before.
Zheng Jing shook his head and opened the bathroom door. He saw a figure standing outside the door, which was still Yue Chuanzhen! His whole body was in black and white, his eyes were covered with bloodshot, his mouth was grinning and his gums were exposed, and he looked at Zheng Jing ferociously.
Suddenly being stimulated by this, Zheng Jing was so scared that his face turned pale. He took two steps back and sat directly on the toilet. Yue Chuanzhen looked like the same as the middle-aged couple who were suspected to be his parents turned evil!
"Brother, what's wrong with you? I'm like seeing a ghost." Zheng Lun took two steps forward, grabbed Zheng Jing's arm and kept shaking it. This lost look scared him.
Under Zheng Lun's shaking, Zheng Jing gradually woke up and saw clearly that it was Zheng Lun standing in front of him, not Yue Chuanfa.
"Are you scared these days when you went out? You told me not to be a private detective. It's hard to kill a chicken. What should I do if I become a private detective?" Seeing Zheng Jing recovering, Zheng Lun said with concern.
"It has nothing to do with private detectives."
Zheng Jing gasped and began to regain his emotions. The white shadow in the mirror before might be an illusion, but treating Zheng Lun as Yue Chuanfa is definitely not an illusion.
Zheng Jing’s private detective certificate was not in vain. At least he knew what hallucinations should look like when he was stimulated, and it should not be as clear as before.
Zheng Lun took a towel and wiped the cold sweat from Zheng Jing's forehead. After wiping it halfway, Zheng Jing suddenly snatched the towel, put it in his pocket, and put it on his clothes and said to Zheng Lun:
"I'm going out, I don't know when I'll be back, don't wait for me."
"Oh, can you go out by yourself...I'll accompany you..."
Before Zheng Lun finished speaking, Zheng Jing ran out. When he chased him out, Zheng Jing had already taken a taxi and headed to Furonghe City No. 8 Mental Hospital.
When I talked to the driver about the Eighth Mental Hospital, the uncle didn't even know where it was. If Zheng Jing hadn't been transferred back by bus, he wouldn't know how to describe the address of the Eighth Mental Hospital.
