Chapter 26 Giant Python

The fireball directly hit the giant snake's head, blowing it up and causing a big hole in its huge head, but the giant snake was not killed.

Jiang Ran couldn't dodge and was swept away by the struggling snake's tail and hit the ground. However, her current physical fitness was very high and it did not put too much burden on her body.

Ji Qingcheng and others who were running desperately were shaken by the explosion. The four of them stopped and wanted to look back to check on Jiang Ran but heard her voice.

"What are you doing standing still?"

"Run."

After hearing Jiang Ran's voice and confirming that she was still alive and full of energy, the four of them knew that she was sure, so they sped up and ran down the mountain.

Seeing everyone running away, the python was also stunned. It seemed that it had not recovered from the shock. Jiang Ran threw two more fireballs at the python.

boom!

boom.

Two explosions rang out in succession. Before the stunned python could react, its head was blown open, but its body was not dead yet. It was swinging violently due to the pain it felt, and nearby trees were knocked down by the snake's body.

But Jiang Ran ignored the giant python and turned around and ran down the mountain.

Without its head, the giant python will die sooner or later, but because of its unique body structure, the body will die slower, and it will no longer pose a threat to Jiang Ran and the others.

Without the threat of the giant python, Jiang Ran was no longer anxious. He walked slowly down the mountain with a flashlight. Ji Qingcheng and others ran down the mountain, but did not see Jiang Ran following them. They were all extremely anxious.

Ji Qinglin kept looking up the mountain and murmured: "Why haven't you come down yet? Nothing will happen. When we ran, there seemed to be two more explosions."

Yu Xiaowan murmured silently, "Don't let anything happen to you."

Ji Qingcheng frowned, regretting that he should not have listened to Jiang Ran's words. Guan Song comforted his wife while staring at the movement on the mountain.

Bang bang bang.

The sound of the snake's tail hitting the trees and the ground kept coming from the mountain. Several people thought that Jiang Ran and the giant python were fighting hard, and they became more and more anxious.

Yu Xiaowan said: "No, she can't deal with the python by herself."

Ji Qinglin also nodded repeatedly, "We have to think of a way, sister Jiang Ran will die if this continues."

"Fire." Ji Qingcheng said firmly: "Get fire from the village. Let's go up the mountain with the fire. We will definitely be able to repel the giant python."

"Okay, that's the decision."

Guan Song nodded in agreement, and the four of them hurried back to the village. After a while, each of them returned holding a torch.

Just as they were preparing to go up the mountain, there was a noise in the dark forest. The four of them immediately became alert, and then a bright light came out from between the grass and trees.

Ji Qinglin tried to shout, "Sister Jiang Ran?"

"It's me." When Jiang Ran saw the four lit torches, he knew that Ji Qingcheng and the others were there, and hurriedly responded.

"It's really Sister Jiang Ran."

Ji Qinglin was overjoyed and hurriedly came up to him holding a torch. Jiang Ran also walked down the mountain and appeared in front of the four of them.

Yu Xiaowan stepped forward quickly, held Jiang Ran's arm and looked up and down. Seeing that she was not injured, she patted her chest and breathed a sigh of relief, "You didn't follow me down the mountain. The python made so much noise that we were almost scared to death."

Ji Qinglin also came over and said, "Sister Jiang Ran, we are planning to go up the mountain to find you and fight the giant python."

"It's okay."

Ji Qingcheng said with a smile, and Guan Song nodded. The two of them didn't speak much, but the concern in their eyes didn't seem to be fake.

Feeling everyone's concern, Jiang Ran felt warm in her heart. No one had given her such sincere care since she was a child.

Jiang Ran held Yu Xiaowan's hand, looked at everyone and said, "Thank you, I'm fine."

Listening to the noise coming from the mountain, Guan Song reminded: "It's better to leave quickly. If the giant python comes down from the mountain, we won't be able to escape."

"Oh yes, let's go."

"Go quickly, go quickly."

Everyone hurriedly held torches and walked towards the village. Ji Qingcheng looked back and felt that something was wrong with the python's movement, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Shaking his head to get rid of the doubts in his heart, he hurriedly followed everyone.

The fire in the village grew bigger and bigger, and the survivors reacted and rushed to fetch water to extinguish the fire. Buckets of water from the wells in the village continued to be delivered to the burning houses.

Soon, Jiang Ran and others also ran over and joined the fire-fighting team.

The temperature during the day is as high as 60 degrees. If the fire cannot be extinguished in time, when the temperature rises at dawn, the fire will burn to an unimaginable extent, and nearby mountains, forests, villages and towns will not be spared.

Seeing the fire here, the migrating people behind also rushed over to help carry water to put out the fire.

Hundreds of people worked all night long, pouring bucket after bucket of water to finally put out the fire in the village. Many people's skin was burned by the flames.

Jiang Ran lay on the ground tiredly, her clothes wet with sweat. She put the towel into the bucket next to her and squeezed a handful of water to wipe her face, then she lay on the ground motionless.

Ji Qingcheng and others also lay down and closed their eyes tiredly.

When everyone woke up, it was already dawn, their sweat-soaked clothes were dry, and the whole village turned into a tattered ruin.

Under the burning of the fire, the horrific body parts and broken bones were basically invisible, leaving only black ashes on the ground.

Seeing that everyone's faces and bodies were covered in ash, as if they had just dug coal, Ji Qinglin laughed loudly, "Hahaha, are you going to Heizhou to dig coal?"

Everyone looked at Ji Qinglin and couldn't help but laugh too. The laughter infected the others around them. Everyone looked at me and I looked at you, and they all laughed. The gloomy village ushered in a brief moment of joy.

After the laughter, everyone took water from the well to wash themselves, and then continued on the road to the provincial capital.

Jiang Ran fetched some water and washed his body. He was hit by a giant python last night and had a lot of bruises on his body. He applied some bruise ointment and put on clean clothes.

The four of them in Ji Qingcheng also fetched water and washed themselves. They had been busy traveling for the past two days and had sweated a lot. In addition, they put out the fire last night, so their bodies and clothes already stink.

After everyone had taken a shower, put on clean clothes and had enough to eat and drink, the five of them followed the large army to the provincial capital.

The temperature was relatively cool in the morning, so everyone hurried on the road with all their strength. It wasn't until after nine o'clock that the temperature rose and they hid in the shade of the trees, waiting for the cooler evening to continue on the road.

Fortunately, no more evolved creatures were encountered during the rest of the journey. The five of them concentrated on their journey and gradually became the leaders of the migrating crowd, getting closer and closer to the provincial capital.

A few days later.

The large relocation force was advancing slowly along the highway. The blue road sign in front showed that it was about to enter the provincial capital. Everyone was so happy that they speeded up their pace unconsciously, as if they would soon see the light.

Everyone was full of expectations and continued to move forward with the large army. However, they were still walking on the road for more than an hour without seeing the end.

Jiang Ran took out his mobile phone and turned on the broadcast reception function, trying to see if there was any news about accepting the relocated people or providing directions, but there was nothing. There was only the sizzling sound of electricity in the mobile phone.
