Chapter 70 Love to eat candied haws

At the end of Si, the ox cart finally arrived at the foot of Qingliangguan Mountain.

The huge block is already crowded with people, and the vendors set up stalls on both sides of the streets in order, leaving room for pedestrians to walk in the middle.

Except for the subway and the scenic spots during the holidays in her previous life, this is the third time when Feng Qing saw such a large population density. She swallowed and looked at Fang Zheng, "Honey, why do we squeeze over?"

Many adults are afraid of rushing to the point of their children, so they carry the children on their shoulders. It is rare to celebrate the holidays. These parents are generous and buy some snacks for their children to eat while watching.

Wen Hao looked at the candied haws in one of the children's hands, and from time to time he stuck out his tongue to lick them. Wen Hao looked at his mother, "Mom, I want to eat them."

Wenya's saliva had already flowed out first, she dripped a little, spreading her hands, "Eat, eat."

"Damn, buy one for the children." Fang Dalang's family has always been the one who makes the decision, and Zhou Xiaohua saves the money. Seeing his children's pitiful appearance, Fang Dalang felt really distressed.

"Brother and sister-in-law, it is not convenient for you to bring the child with you, so I'll go buy it with my wife." Fang Dalang learned from others and sat Wen Hao on his shoulders, but Wen Ya was held in Zhou Xiaohua's arms. If he squeezed in, he would probably meet the child.

"Sanlang, why don't you help me take Wenhao and I'll go." Fang Dalang spoke up because he was afraid that Fang Zheng's slab would not be able to withstand the squeeze.

"You and my sister-in-law are waiting outside, we will go back." He knew his body by himself, and Fang Zheng wanted to take Feng Qing in his arms and leave openly outside.

Fang Zheng pulled Feng Qing toward the crowd.

"Hey, Sanlang" hasn't given him the money yet!

Zhou Xiaohua wrapped the silver he brought in three or four layers, put it in a cloth bag specially sewn on the inside of the jacket, and held elegantly in front. This is safe, but it is not easy to get the silver.

Fang Zheng heard this and did not look back. For the first time, he thought that visiting a temple fair was so interesting.

Too excited, Fang Zheng even coughed twice.

"My husband, don't worry, I saw several people selling candied haws over there." Feng Qing carefully patted his back and advised.

Fang Zheng looked at her with a smile, not explaining.

When he arrived in the crowd, Fang Zheng finally held the person in his arms as he wished, trying not to let people around him touch the person in his arms.

"My husband, I'll go by myself, be careful." Seeing the crowds of people constantly moving back and forth in front of me, Fang Zheng couldn't walk steadily when he was squeezed, Feng Qing hugged his waist worriedly and moved forward step by step.

"There are so many people, I don't want to worry about you leaving by yourself. Be good, follow me." Fang Zheng leaned into Feng Qing's ear, and after saying that, he seemed to be unintentionally, and his thin lips brushed across her cheeks.

The body is stiff for a moment.

Feng Qing turned his head to look at Fang Zheng, but saw him looking at him innocently, his narrow eyes flashing with a rare light, "What's wrong?"

Feng Qing suddenly laughed. She sighed, imitated Fang Zheng's appearance, leaned into his ear, and smiled and said, "This is a gift for you."

When she left, her red lips brushed over the same position on Fang Zheng’s cheek.

After a moment of shock, Fang Zheng laughed softly.

This is his wife, kind but has a bottom line, straightforward but cute.

After hugging the person tighter with satisfaction, Fang Zheng sighed, "It's great."

The two moved for a while before they arrived at the vendor selling candied haws. Feng Qing said, "I want two strings."

"Three strings." Fang Zheng said.

Before coming out, Feng Qing had already stuffed some broken silver and copper plates into Fang Zheng's purse.

Whether in the later generations or the era in which they are now, many men even regard dignity as more important than life. Fang Zheng does not have this tendency yet. Even so, Feng Qing is reluctant to let Fang Zheng go out empty-handedly.

She always knew that love is mutual.

Fang Zheng paid the money, three candied haws and ten copper plates.

On the way back, the two were squeezed to the side of the road by the crowd.

"Madam, wait a moment." Next to it was a stall with candy paintings. The stall owner was an old man with white hair and beard. The old man was dressed in old clothes but clean and tidy.

There were many people coming and going on other stalls, and there were also many people who stopped to ask about buying things. Only this candy man's stall, whenever the past people asked for the price, they all turned around and left.

"Five copper plates of flowers, plants, fish, insects, and fifteen copper plates of painted people." The old man glanced at Fang Zheng and Feng Qing and spoke expressionlessly.

Fang Zheng only glanced at the various sugar paintings inserted on the stall and said, "Two people, just follow me and my wife."

Then he took two animal sugar paintings at will.

The old man was skilled and smooth. He carefully looked at Fang Zheng and Feng Qing, and finally smiled a little. In less than a quarter of an hour, the two imagery sugar men completed it.

"Thank you." Fang Zheng thanked.

The old man withdrew his gaze and replied indifferently: "Although the deep love is easy to make people obsessed, only when they are plain and sincere can last forever."

"I'll be taught by my younger generation." Fang Zheng respectfully bowed to the old man, "Whether it's love or warm or plain, I'll be with my wife until old age."

The old man stopped talking, and didn't even give the two of them a look.

Fang Zheng was not annoyed either. He gave his candy painting to Feng Qing, while he was holding Feng Qing's candy portrait.

After a lot of effort, the two of them finally squeezed back.

He gave the candied haws and the candied paintings to the two children respectively. Fang Zheng handed the third string of candied haws to Feng Qing, "Try it, my wife."

Feng Qing did not refuse. Since she was ten years old, she had never tasted these street snacks. Smelling the unique fragrance of maltose, Feng Qing took a bite.

It's sour and sweet, but not very good.

"How is it?" Fang Zheng looked at her expectantly.

He had never tasted it, and he could not see which of these fruits was sweet and which was sour.

"Try it, my husband." Feng Qing handed the candied haws to Fang Zheng's mouth and said vaguely.

With Feng Qing's hand, Fang Zheng bit the next one.

This scene shocked Fang Dalang and Zhou Xiaohua.

In their memory, Saburo is the one who cares about eating very carefully. How could he eat these things without any image on the street?

The moment he bit the fruit, Fang Zhenglian twisted it.

The habits engraved in his bones made him unable to do anything to spit food in the street. He swallowed the fruits in a hurry and reached out to Feng Qing, hanging his hand on Feng Qing's chin, "My wife, it's too sour, spit it out soon."

Feng Qing shook her head, and tears came out of her sour eyes. She closed her eyes and swallowed the candied haws.

"I bought it from my husband, and I want to eat it even if I don't eat it." Feng Qing explained with tears in his eyes.

"Silly." He grabbed the candied haws without saying a word, "I just happen to like to eat them."

So, in full view of everyone, Fang Zheng swallowed all the candied haws one by one.

Feng Qing blinked and looked at Fang Zheng with a normal face. He couldn't tell whether he really liked it or not to prevent himself from being sour.

"Uncle, you like to eat it, I'll give it to you too." Wen Hao licked the candy wrapped outside and handed the remaining string of fruit to Fang Zheng.
