Within this plan, three divisions were initially planned to land on three beaches 32km wide between Carontan and Caen, namely the beaches of "Omaha", "Gold" and "Juno", and airborne two brigades at the same time.

The second echelon has eight divisions and will occupy Cherbourg within two weeks.

The biggest problem in the entire plan is that the port can be solved, that is, how to solve the logistics supply of the troops before occupying Cherbourg.
