Chapter 106: Helping George Is Helping Himself(2/2)

He swore that if Hawke dared to think of robbing someone, he would shoot him.

The kind without any hesitation.

Beckett quickly explained to George that she had commandeered Hawke's vehicle and originally planned to rush to the scene for support. Unexpectedly, by the time she was halfway through the drive, the first wave of attacks had been neutralized.

When George heard this, his eyebrows jumped: "I didn't let you take him to the place he wanted to go most."

Beckett shrugged and said, "You asked me to keep an eye on him and not let him escape my sight."

George opened his mouth, speechless.

Hawke also walked up to George and Beckett at this time. He looked at the steps, which could be said to have become the 12th Precinct of the fortress, and nodded: "It looks like the defense is very good."

George's eyebrows beat. He felt that Hawke's words had another meaning.

after all……

The killer King ran into his branch openly and opened fire inside.

Moreover, he was still the target of the shooting.

George took a deep breath and looked at Hawke expressionlessly: "Hawke, you'd better leave here now, otherwise..."

Hawke looked at George with a smile: "What else?"

George's eyelids twitched.

When Hawke saw this, he laughed and sighed: "I thought I sent Detective Beckett here without asking the New York Police Department to reimburse me for gas money. How about, I can also have a cup of coffee from the police department.

Well, the last time I drank it, it didn’t taste very good, but free stuff always makes people miss it.”

George couldn't help but close his eyes.

after awhile.

George opened his eyes again, looked at Hawke, and smiled: "Okay, let's go in and have a cup of coffee."

This time it was Hawke's turn to raise his eyebrows.

Wait a moment.

What happened to George?

Hawke felt something was wrong with George.

but……

This did not prevent Hawke from being stunned for a moment before nodding with a smile and accepting George's invitation.

When Hawke walked out of the elevator, Ryan and Esposito, who had followed Hawke and knew what George and Beckett had guessed, were stunned when they saw this, and turned their attention to Beckett, who also walked in.

On the body.

seems to be asking.

WTF!

Why was the killer King brought in?

Beckett shook his head at Kevin and Esposito expressionlessly, then said something to Hawke who followed him in, and then led Hawke towards George's office.

"I'm going to get you a cup of coffee, so don't run around."

"I will."

Hawke turned his head and smiled at Beckett who was standing at the door. After the latter closed the door from the outside, Hawke set his sights on the layout of George's office.

Like George's study at home, this office reveals the same message from top to bottom, inside and out.

George is a workaholic.

"Huh?"

When Hawke's eyes fell on the message board on the wall, he blinked and walked over. Looking at the messages on the message board that seemed to come from various state police departments, he couldn't help but smile: "You pay so much attention to me.

?"

These messages from police departments in various states all have a common feature.

The areas where these police stations are located are all areas where Hawke once stayed.

And it seems that George has been collecting this information for some time.

at this time.

The office door was pushed open.

Beckett walked in with a cup of freshly baked free coffee, looked at Hawk standing in front of the message board, smiled and said, "Is there anything you need to add here?"

Hawke laughed dumbly and looked at Beckett: "No, it's perfect."

What a joke.

Although Hawke has no murderous intentions towards George, Beckett, or even any police officer, that doesn't mean he will help the New York Police Department collect information about him.

Frankly speaking, Hawke had restrained himself by not burning down George's office.

"Give."

"Thanks."

Hawke took the coffee handed over by Beckett and politely thanked him. Then he seemed to have thought of something and looked at Beckett with a smile: "Zach Stane, is he being held in the interrogation room?"

Beckett: "..."
