Chapter 39 Watching Movies in the Cinema
My palms were covered in sweat, and my heart was beating in the seat in front. After more than a month of busyness and hardships, the movie that was finally released. Whether it was successful or not will be revealed this night.
I sat in the middle of the third row, sitting in the same row with Lao Ma and others. They were nestled in soft and comfortable seats, staring at the screen with leisurely expressions.
The first thing that came out in the movie was the factory logo. When the red dragon roared and roared, the expressions of these people were different. Lao Ma and Fox were very interested in this opening. Marskolov even lay in my ear and said that he had to make a majestic opening when he went back. Although Lemmer's face maintained his usual calm expression, he nodded frequently. Warner Brothers looked disdainful. The two guys whispered to each other and whispered, making sarcastic sounds.
In the first scene, when the north and south flags appeared in the movie, Lao Ma and Lemmer straightened their backs and sat up, especially Lemmer, holding hands tightly on the handle of the seat, staring at the screen without even blinking.
Lao Ma himself likes war movies very much. He is a tough guy recognized in Hollywood. He loves people in wars when they turn around. He holds his hands together, and the corners of his mouth are raised to reveal a hint of undetectable smile. Even his eyes as big as copper bells narrowed slightly, as if a rich wife was shopping in the mall to find an interesting mink coat.
As for why Lemmer was like this, I think it might be related to his family. His grandfather died in the Civil War, and was killed by his former comrades after he was a general of the Southern Army, so he seemed to have a great impression of George.
Warner Bros. and Fox seemed not interested. Sam and Fox pointed to a woman in the front row and whispered and laughed with a lewd expression. The bosses of several small companies, Baldwin, Alcott and Chani Barra, were attracted to the giants around them, while occasionally taking advantage of their spare time to glance at the screen, which was just a two-point purpose.
The cameras switched quickly on the screen, and the two troops collided head-on, shells exploded beside them, bullets hit the soldiers' bodies, their heads were cut off, wounds, blood, wailing mouths, and desperate eyes. All the shots were showing the cruelty of war and the humbleness of life.
Lao Ma couldn't sit still. He supported the handle with both arms, leaned forward, left his butt, stretched his neck to look ahead. Because of his excitement, the blood vessels on his neck were clearly visible. Lemmer, who was known for his calmness, clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and his whole body was tense, as if he was gradually being pulled tight.
Warner Bros. and Fox finally turned their eyes from the beautiful women in the front row to the movie. Sam looked at the head on the camera, and blood actually licked his lips enjoyably. As for Baldwin, Alcott and Chani Barra, they didn't bother to chat with Fox and others, and they were in a straight figure in their seats, like good students in the classroom.
After a few screams, Heidi covered her eyes in fear and tied her head tightly into Lemmer's arms. Lenny pretended to be shocked, looked down at her toes, and pulled the strap in her hand hard.
Such a shot is indeed a bit cruel for a little girl like them.
The plot further developed, Dietli chatted with Bushi in the theater, and the two of them came out to have a meal, and they were in love with each other.
Old Ma and Lemmer recovered a little calmly. When Warner Brothers saw him staring at Dietli, his eyes were blurred, his tongue was stiff, he was in a state of dismay, and he drooled.
"Andre, I didn't expect that your subordinates would have such a girl with such a signature. Just transfer it to our company. Don't worry, I will definitely give you a generous transfer fee. How about it? Think about it?" Sam asked me anxiously.
Dig me a corner?! There is no door either.
I smiled, pointed to the screen and said, "Mr. Warner, the movie is not over yet."
Seeing me like this, Sam knew that it was unlikely that he would transfer the sign, and he looked a little disappointed on his face, sighed and continued to look at the movie.
The following shots stirred everyone here.
Bush and Dietli entered the room. He brutally tore off Dietli's clothes. The two of them were entangled in the bed. Under the dim tone, Dietli's plump and white body could be vaguely seen.
The people in the cinema have different expressions and various postures.
Old Ma opened his mouth and looked at me in surprise, his thinking short-circuited. Fox's old face turned red, he coughed a few times in a pretentious manner, and reached out to cover Heidi's eyes and didn't want Heidi to see such a picture. Heidi kept sneaking through his father's fingers and breathing rapidly.
Warner Brothers almost jumped out of the chair. Sam stepped on the ground and hooked the chair, hoping to run to the screen. Jack swallowed his saliva and pulled the tight tie on his neck hard. His mouth was dry and his veins bloomed on his forehead, and he was as excited as an African baboon taking aphrodisiac.
Baldwin and Alcott, on the one hand, were fascinated by such shots as men, and on the other hand, there were many women sitting next to them, so they were embarrassed in order to maintain their gentlemanly image and could not watch them too much.
I looked at Lenny, and the little girl bit her lip tightly. Although her eyes were still on the screen, her eyes drifted. She even glanced at me fiercely in the middle.
The audience around him was panicked, and the screams of women and men kept coming.
I shrugged and felt very accomplished when I saw these people being stimulated like this.
As the plot develops, the people around him have completely integrated themselves with the characters on the screen. Although the camera is constantly exposed, the shyness of the previous one has slowly disappeared. Fox put down the palm of Lenny that covered Lenny. The old man cried bitterly after whipping Dietley, his eyes are wet. Lenny and Heidi are holding a handkerchief sprayed with perfume in his hands, wiping their tears for a while, and occasionally scolding the dead man.
Lao Ma supported his face with both hands and bent down. He regarded himself as a tough guy from the west, so he naturally could not cry in public, but I saw him quickly blowing tears from the corners of his eyes with his little finger from time to time.
Warner Brothers were like two woods and poked on the seats with tall horses and horses, still opening their mouths, but the original confusion and lust in their eyes were gone.
In the movie, when Diedley took out a knife to assassinate him while she was not asleep, Heidi whispered nervously: "No! No!" Even Lenny was restless, looking at Diedley's high-glowing knife, shedding tears.
When Wu Shi took the army to fight and was ambushed and injured because of Hankton's rumor, the army was wiped out and injured while crawling on the battlefield, Fox was already in tears. Even the old horse, who always smiled, kept sucking his nose and tears.
The others, Fox kept taking out his hand towel from his pocket in his seat, and Sam and Jack whispered over and over again: "Damn the Southern!", and although Channy Barra was an authentic southerner, he did not make any refutation after hearing Sam's words.
There were sobbing sounds in the theater, because of the tension, and because I couldn't guess whether the audience really liked this movie. I felt like I was on a ship running on the sea. The storm was coming, the sky was low, the chest was tight and the breath was short.
The film continues, and the beams projected by the projector keep shining.
As the heat waves came one by one, I felt like I was about to be crushed.
I stood up, walked through Lao Ma and others' seats, walked to the steps outside the cinema, and stayed inside, even for a minute, I was afraid that my heart would not be able to bear the nervousness that was almost suffocating and collapsed.
