Chapter 139 Under the London Starlight(2/2)

Jiabao looked at me, without saying a word, just smiled, as if to her, the most important thing in the world, and smiled so satisfied.

"Don't be stupid. The lake is close to you. In fact, it takes half an hour to take a bus." Jiabao also stood up, walked to my side, picked up a stone and threw it out.

"Didn't you say you can't throw it in the lake? Then you still throw it away." I smiled.

Jiabao grimaced me, ran away for a while, and then stood on a protruding stone and shouted to me: "I'm afraid that the stone you threw is too lonely, so let this piece accompany it!"

Looking at her fluttering in the wind, I finally laughed out loud.

That night, we stayed until dawn before we returned.

Jiabao said a lot to me, and I also said a lot to her, but later on, I couldn't remember a single word of these words.

I only remember that Jiabao kept smiling that night. That smile seemed to be a white lotus blooming under the stars. It was so pure and beautiful that it could make people feel great joy in their hearts.

I still remember that the strong wind did not stop that day. Many grass leaves were swept up by the wind, and they flew over vines in the wind, and then drifted to the lake water in the distance. Jiabao said that those grass leaves were the gods of this grassland. They existed in the depths of the land and then lived in the big lake in the distance.

Later, a flock of birds came out of the nest. They flew out of the woods behind us and hovered at the bottom of the valley beside us. The snow-white birds seemed to have a magical instrument hidden in their throats. Every time they cried, my heart tightened, and then they flew to the stone opposite us, and fell down in front of our eyes, as if it was snowing.

I even saw one of them smile at me, and the smile started from the corner of his mouth and continued to its forehead.

Later, many years later, I almost forgot many things, but I clearly remember this night, this small town called London, the brilliant starry sky above my head, the long-lasting strong wind, the twinkling fishing fires in the distance, and a white bird smiled at me.
