10. Real Madrid’s connections

In the past two weeks, Su Changwei is still trying to adapt to the new environment.

After finally playing two games in the U18 team, he now has to start over as a substitute in the U19 team.

On September 23, Real Madrid U19 challenged Celta Vigo away.

Facing the underdogs, Real Madrid unceremoniously turned against the away team. Main forward Mariano scored twice in the first 20 minutes, San Jose made a pass and shot, and defense general Diego Llorente also took advantage of the set kick opportunity to header.

After scoring, De Thomas, who came on as a substitute in the second half, did not waste the opportunity and won the victory with a disparity of 5:0.

As for Su Changwei, he served as the water dispenser manager on the bench for a full 90 minutes...

With a big lead, the head coach does not have much need for a solid defense, so there is no need for him as a substitute right back to play!

Although, Su Changwei thinks he can also play as a forward...

A week later, on September 30, Real Madrid faced Tenerife at home.

This opponent comes from an overseas island 1,800 kilometers away—yes, the island of Tenerife is a neighbor of Las Palmas...

Although located in a remote area, Tenerife is not unknown. As early as 20 years ago, as a representative of the La Liga team, they participated in the UEFA Cup main matches many times and even won the runner-up once!

You know, the Europa League in that era was much more valuable than in the new century! As strong as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, there is no guarantee that they can appear on the European stage every season...

However, in the past few years, Tenerife, which lacked sufficient financial support, has gone from bad to worse. They have been in La Liga and La Liga for a long time. In the summer of 2011, they were relegated to the third level...

Under such circumstances, one can imagine how much Tenerife attaches importance to the youth training echelon.

The visiting team came from afar and had a hard time traveling all the way. Before they had time to adapt to the conditions of the capital area, they were beaten 6:0 by Real Madrid!

Mariano continued to score twice, and Jose scored a hat trick. In addition, they directly defeated the fellow suburbanites who had traveled thousands of miles to Beijing.

In the 86th minute, Su Changwei, who was sitting on the bench, finally got the chance to come on as a substitute. However, looking at the game that had no suspense, he gave up the opportunity to use 10 points of luck to extract the target player and relied solely on himself.

Played the last few minutes with strength.

In the last 4 minutes and 3 minutes of injury time, he only touched the ball once...

Just this chance to touch the ball, he passed the ball directly to the feet of the opponent's forward...

Fortunately, the opponent was not interested in fighting, and after receiving the pass, he kicked the ball, hastily ending this rare counterattack opportunity.

After two consecutive big wins, the U19 players who were full of expectations did not wait to be called up by the first team. Even Mariano, who performed well, could only stay in the echelon the day after the game.<

The first week of October is another national team competition week. Many players from all age groups go to the national team to participate in competitions. The training ground in La Fabrica looks very empty.

But it is precisely because of this that Su Changwei has the opportunity to receive special care from the coaches.

"..."

When he once again sent a long pass with an error of more than ten meters, U19 head coach Gonzalo Gutierrez almost burst into tears!

This fringe player who had played for Real Madrid for many years suddenly had an illusion:

[How on earth did a player with such impressive basic skills stay in our Real Madrid youth training camp for three years?]

[The level of Real Madrid’s youth training is so impressive now!]

[No wonder Mourinho has always looked down on the youth training camp!]

-

The so-called "inspection of young players" is simply a kind word from Mourinho!

By this time, most people actually know it very well.

In the past two weeks, Mourinho and his assistants have not watched any of the games or training of any echelon!

The youth training echelon is supposed to be a place to cultivate talents for the first team, but in Real Madrid in 2011, there was a huge contradiction between the youth training camp and the first team:

After driving away the sports director Valdano who liked to point fingers, Mourinho was still not satisfied. He expressed many times that he hoped that the club would fire the B team coach Toril and let his close assistant Karanka take over, thus allowing the youth team to take over.

The children in the training camp also learned their own football philosophy.

However, the club president, "Lafayette" Florentino, admired Toril's work very much and chose to renew his contract in advance. This made Mourinho very dissatisfied, and the rift between the two parties became deeper and deeper.

For example, when Real Madrid had a personnel crisis at left back, Mourinho complained that there was no talent in the youth training team who could serve as Marcelo's substitute.

Toril believes that defender Nacho, who has already entered the first-team roster, is fully qualified to play any position in the defense.

Mourinho did not agree. While letting Nacho serve as the water fountain keeper, he bought his fellow Portuguese "Little Golden Retriever" Cohen Trump for a high price of 30 million euros.

The conflict between the two sides developed into the new season, and Mourinho even openly announced a "banning order" on Toril. Among more than 20 coaches at all levels of Real Madrid, Toril is the only one who has not visited Real Madrid through the Internet.

A coach who has access to video data of a team’s training matches...

Mourinho chose to ignore all the youth training players strongly recommended by Toril--except, of course, Enzo, the "second generation star".

Today's Real Madrid is controlled by Mourinho and his agent Mendes.

After the old captain Raul was purged, the Spanish local gang headed by new captain Casillas was suppressed by Mourinho until they could not hold their head high.

In the first team, the Portuguese-speaking gang headed by Cristiano Ronaldo includes Di Maria, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo, Coentrao... These people are all clients of Mendes!

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading!

In the youth team, it is common for Mendes to place players!

For example, this time, a C team player was transferred to the first team’s training ground.

That central defender is called Pedro Mendez. He can't even play as the absolute main force in Team C, but he gets the same treatment as the eldest son of the Qi family just because of his agent!

Mendes's story quickly spread to all echelons.

Many young people seemed indignant, and some even openly criticized Mourinho and Mendes for their "nepotism", "dirty tactics" and "destroyed the purity and sanctity of football".

In contrast, Su Changwei's mentality is very peaceful.

After all, he himself is a related household!

If we really want to ensure fairness and justice, the first person to be kicked out of Real Madrid is Su Changwei himself!

-

October 15th, the first game after the international competition week.

Real Madrid U19 vs. Rayo Vallecano U19 at home.

Considering that the main players such as Jese, Mariano, and Osaide have just returned from the national youth team, head coach Gutierrez chose a heavily rotated lineup from the beginning.

De Thomas got his first chance to play, but Su Changwei could only continue to sit on the bench.

Although they are both from Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, who was just promoted to La Liga in 2011, their youth training team is obviously not comparable to Real Madrid. Even if they want to take advantage of the popularity of the "derby match", it is too reluctant.

.

The game progressed calmly. De Tomas opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, and central defender Diego Llorente used a header to expand the score just at the beginning of the second half.

Rayo Vallecano, who was trailing 0:2, didn't seem to care. Not only did he not shrink in defense, but he played more open. He once wanted to have a big offensive battle with Real Madrid!

Gutierrez looked at the substitute players behind him who were generally not in high condition, and finally waved to Su Changwei:

"You come on for me and strengthen the wing defense!"

The corner of Su Changwei's mouth twitched, and he didn't want to get up.

[Can’t you let Jose or Mariano play together?]
