Chapter 01: Dragon Valley

The second year of the fifth century of the Elf Calendar, the second year of the Silver Moon, and the early September.

The Snow Mountains, the northernmost tip of the continent of Celtics.

The wind blew violently with snowflakes, and the whole world was covered in white, and I couldn't even see the scenery in the distance.

Even if you can accidentally see a little color other than white, it is probably a rock. There is nothing else to do except that.

There was thick snow under your feet, ice was within reach, and even the sky was gray.

There is only winter here, even if other places on the mainland are in midsummer. Almost no plants can survive here, let alone animals.

Under normal circumstances, creatures except dragons will not appear here and cannot reach here. Not only because of the cold, but also because it has entered the territory of the Golden Dragon Clan.

Dragons are races with strong territorial consciousness. They will destroy all creatures that enter their territory without permission, even the golden dragons that are much more friendly to the black dragon.

However, at this moment, a group of cavalry appeared in the vast white area.

"Hurry up! Don't delay! Isn't it just a little snow? Are the dwarves still afraid of snow?" The one who rushed to the front was a knit. He was wearing a big cotton jacket, and his beard was covered with snowflakes, but he looked extremely excited.

However, it was only him, and the rest of the dwarves fell to the end of the team, and they were almost turned into ice sculptures.

"What are you doing? The dwarves are originally a race born on the snow-capped mountains!" When they said this, the undead had already walked by the side of the mallet on horseback.

"Don't look at me, we lichs were born underground." Lucy spread her hands.

You have to admit that no matter where you were born, as long as you were in life, there will be limits. Races born on snowy mountains just mean that dwarves are a little colder than other ordinary races. It does not mean that they can never die of freezing in ice caves, nor does it mean that they can be compared with the undead who exceed the limits.

However, Bangmao obviously doesn't think so.

"What are you doing? Do you want to be ridiculed by a bunch of undead? Just cheer me up!" After a roar, Bangmao was exhausted and panting, and the dwarves in the second team were still slow. It was not that they wanted to be slow, but they were really frozen.

Such a march was much more difficult for the dwarves than a bloody battle. A group of dwarves walked slowly and slowly, so that the undead who were walking in front had to stop and wait for them.

Riding on the bone horse to Gray, Ekreon grinned: "This is really not a good idea. We should open the door of space and get to our destination instead of walking. This place is not suitable for marching, very unsuitable. Especially for the dwarves."

"But we must express our respect for their territory." Gray replied softly: "This trip is very important to us, and we need to eliminate their hostility towards us. Things like simple etiquette should be done as much as possible, rather than causing unnecessary misunderstandings."

"Okay, you're right. But to be honest, I still think this is too troublesome. Maybe we should use a simpler way, such as going to war with the entire dragon clan directly. We haven't done this before." Akreon had no choice but to spread his hands.

"I think... Gray, you should pay a little attention." The black cat, who was still in Gyle's chest armor and wrapped himself tightly with a cotton jacket, whispered: "I have an ominous premonition."

"What are you referring to?" Grey asked.

"I can't explain it clearly, but in short, it's a very bad premonition. It's based on the recent incident, the judgment of the Holy Light of the White Bone. I'll tell you again if I have the chance."

"I know what the black cat wants to say." The voice of Vivian, who had disappeared, rang out in Gray's mind: "The Lichs in the Bone Holy Light Vatican respect you as the Pope, recognize your identity as the Lich King, and they have indeed fulfilled their vows and obeyed your orders. But this does not mean that they will continue to listen to you when they are irritated. Now there are more and more situations, and they themselves do not have as firm belief as you."

"Yes, this is what I want to say." The black cat muttered in a low voice.

"I feel so too." Catherine's voice also rang in Gray's mind: "It's not a good time to visit the Golden Dragon Clan now. We spent a year doing internal rectification, but the situation did not improve, but it was getting worse and worse. We are still facing many unexpected internal problems."

"But we can't wait any longer." Gray replied softly: "The whole world is watching us, and the Black Dragon clan's actions have never stopped. If we cannot take action, those who look at us will think we have compromised. They will think that we are just another old church. In that case, what we finally win will be lost. I mean the kind side of people."

"The victory of Xianyu Port has pushed our reputation to the top, and people are looking forward to something we do. If we do nothing, or they cannot see what we do, then they will be disappointed. In this way, the choice of justice and evil is just a matter of a moment. It depends on whether the chosen one believes in justice or evil. Only by further strengthening their beliefs can we make the whole world in the direction of goodness instead of falling back into the quagmire of darkness. For this, we must take some risks and pay some price."

The three external brains were silent at the same time.

Looking back, Gray looked at the dwarves who were still struggling behind him, and continued, "I am a dead soul, a lich, and the world I can feel is far less rich than them. They bear the pain I don't know. We need to cooperate with this world and follow its rules, rather than letting them cooperate with us."

"Um..." After a while of silence, the black cat whispered: "I think you have made progress again. Now you already know how to start maintaining a 'degree'. Do you still remember the past? At the beginning, you only had 'yes' and 'no'. Now you are starting to know how to take a sensation. However, this is exactly the problem I am worried about, and the other lichs have not learned it yet."

Gray didn't answer, but just rode Tenidas and walked quietly in the snow.

...

The snowstorm in the Snow Mountains can be heard and gone. Sometimes there is no sign of any sign.

In the blink of an eye, the raging snowstorm dispersed.

What appeared before them was the magnificent view of the Snow Mountains.

The endless mountains are covered with snow, and the dark blue sky is shrouded in the aurora, as beautiful as a simple picture of color blocks, with almost no trace of impurities seen.

The people walking there are as small as a speck of dust.

Seeing the scene in front of you, the dwarves in the team couldn't help but be stunned, and could not believe their eyes.

"My God...Is the dragon living in such a place? It feels like dreaming."

"Not exactly." Vivian showed her figure. She wore a thick red cotton jacket, wrapping her whole body, revealing only one face: "In fact, the place where they live is completely different from here."

"What does 'not exactly' mean? I don't understand very much." Bangmao's teeth were also trembling.

"You will know soon, we are not far from our destination."

The flag was erected again, one of which was Grey's Silver Moon Flag, and the other was the Cross Skeleton Flag of the White Bone Holy Light Holy Church.

The sudden storm here was so terrible that when the blizzard came, they even had to put away the flags to prevent only two poles from being left after the storm ended.

The team continued to move forward slowly again, leaving footprints on the smooth snow-capped mountains.

In addition to Gray and Gray's three "external brains", Lucy, Elkeleon, and of course, one hundred undead knights from the Silver Moon Knights, and two hundred dwarves from the second team. Because the environment here was so bad, the dwarves had to give up their ponies and take a walking mode.

In addition, there is a special character in the team - Richie, the son of the Lich King, who is wearing the same armor as Grey's trumpet.

This is the mission sent by the White Bone Holy Light Church to the Golden Dragon Clan.

In fact, Camilla and Shelley wanted to come, but there was no way. The road along the way was really not something that humans could do. As for Brutu and Simon, who had committed crimes against the Golden Dragon clan, they were already excluded when they listed the envoys.

After walking through two more mountains, three golden dragons appeared in front of the group.

They circled in the air for a few times, and finally landed in front of Gray, showing a human form. Each of them wore a white robe with the characteristics of the Golden Dragon clan, had long golden hair, fair skin, and pointed ears like elfs. Of course, there were golden scales on their cheeks.

The leader is Alex Trauma.

Crossed his hands on his chest, Alexis Tranghan respectfully saluted Grey, and then shouted loudly: "Alexis Tranghan Golden Tornado, on the order of the Great Elder of the Golden Dragon, come to welcome the respected Lich King! And all the members of the delegation! The journey is long, thank you for your hard work! On behalf of the Golden Dragon clan, I would like to welcome your arrival!"

Sitting at the right time, Grey responded loudly: "Thank you to the Great Elder of Golden Dragon for us!"

"Please follow me!" After another salute, Alex Traumahan and the other two golden dragons turned into dragon shapes again, flapping their wings and soaring into the air. They circled in the air, guiding Gray and his party forward.

After crossing two more mountains, a huge tunnel appeared in front of them.

It was a huge tunnel that was enough for a golden dragon to spread its wings to cross. It tilted forty-five degrees into the ground. There were also a large number of strange stones at the door, and the stones were carved with runes. There was a huge, semicircular magic circle on the ground.

The whole world is covered with snow, but the magic circles and tunnels do not even have a single snowflake. Even if the wind with snowflakes blows, it seems that it will take the initiative to bypass them.

Alex Trauma once again turned into a human form and fell in front of Grey. After saluting silently, he turned around and stretched out his five fingers and pressed them on one of the stones.

Suddenly, the originally silent magic array lit up golden light, and the earth shook slightly.

"Your Highness the Lich King, please."

After reaching out and making a "please" gesture, Alex Trauma Han took the other two dragon tribes into the tunnel.

The mission also rode his horse and slowly followed.

Bangmai asked in a low voice: "So they actually live underground?"

"You'll know after a while." Vivian replied in a low voice.

The tilted road of forty-five degrees is actually very difficult to walk. As long as you are not careful, you may roll down directly. This makes the entire mission have to be careful. Fortunately, they soon left the slope and came to a relatively flat tunnel.

At the same time, light appeared in front of him.

As the light got closer and closer, the members of the delegation gradually heard some different sounds.

"I seem to hear birds screaming. Is this an illusion? Are there birds in this ghost place?"

"I seem to hear the sound of water, too... there shouldn't be a sound of water in this place."

When they really walked into the light, they couldn't help but be shocked.

Appearing in front of them was a scene like a fairyland.

Here, you can't see any snowflakes, there are only dense vegetation and mountains and flowing water.

This is a huge basin. Waterfalls pour down from the mountains, forming pools, and seeping out of streams, nourishing every inch of land, and finally all gathered into the lake in the middle.

There are rainbows under the waterfall, countless wild flowers beside the pond, birds and playful animals in the woods, and dragons flying in the sky. The cliffs on all sides are full of dragon nests. From a distance, they look like a group of migratory birds.

From time to time, you can hear a dragon roar.

Beyond the comparison tunnel, it can be said that there are completely two worlds here.

After saluting Gray again, Alex Trauma said respectfully: "Dear Lich King, we have prepared a temporary residence and a sumptuous dinner for you. Please come here."

"Okay." Gray followed on a horse. The members of the delegation quickly followed one by one.

Not only the dwarves, but also the undead, including Elkeleon and Lucy, were stunned and dazed.

"My God, how did they do it?"

"Do you ask me? I don't know either. It should be magic."

"Dragon Word Magic has always been very powerful, and they are said to have the ability to summon the Doomsday."

"Well, they aroused my interest in re-learning dragon magic."

Both of these have participated in the war between the Lich Council and the Dragon Clan, but this is their first time to come to Dragon Valley, the base camp of the Golden Dragon.
