Chapter 41: Pursuit

Then he suddenly looked over and saw a pair of feet appearing in front of him. Without thinking, just two shots were shot, and then he shrank back like lightning.

"Ah..." A screamed, and it sounded like the man who was having a meeting with the driver.

The people in the room only stared at the middle and above the door, but unexpectedly a gun suddenly popped up from the ground.

He flipped his body and pointed his gun at the stairs.

He is in a good position now, just facing the stairs, and is not within the shooting boundary of the gunman on the first floor. If the person below wants to shoot at him, he must rush upstairs.

As soon as someone emerged, Fang Buwei fired the shot. However, the other party reacted quickly enough that Fang Buwei failed to hit.

A team member of the secret service climbed up the wall on a ladder and opened fire at the Japanese hiding behind the door.

Some team members also came in directly from the window on the first floor, hid in the house and shot. The Japanese in the yard became turtles in the jar.

There was another thud in the eavesdropping device, as if the door or cover was opened.

Is the red dot representing the driver still moving?

Is there a secret passage in this room?

The man in the room didn't know what he was shouting at the person below the building. Then he "coaxed" and a firelight emerged from the door.

The person inside actually lit the fire?

Fang Buwei had just gotten up half of his body when he saw a gunman hiding on the stairs taking out something, biting it in his mouth, and throwing it at Fang Buwei.

Fang Buwei held his limbs and his body arched violently. A fish jumped into the room.

The grenade exploded at the door, directly blowing off half of the brick wall.

A wave of air swept into the house with dust, waving in a row with fire.

In the thick smoke, Fang Buwei heard the extremely tragic scream, the man who was hit by himself.

But he didn't care about this at all. When he landed, gasoline was stained with it and flames were already rising.

Fang Buwei suddenly got up, protected his face with his elbows and jumped out of the window.

The team members under the window saw a fire man jumping out of the window. They were shocked. Just as they were about to shoot, they heard a sound of "I am Fang Buwei", and then the fire man fell to the ground and rolled very quickly.

Gao Sizhong, who was standing opposite the window on the second floor, shouted: "The fire is not extinguished..."

A group of team members took off their clothes and grabbed the soil, and wrapped Fang Buwei up in the blink of an eye.

Fortunately, Fang Buwei moved quickly enough and did not get much gasoline on his body. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Fang Buwei stood up in a dirt and asked the team members to tear their clothes that were still smoking.

"What's going on inside?" Gao Sizhong shouted.

"They poured gasoline on the documents..." Fang Buwei replied.

"Where is the driver?"

"Jump into the tunnel!" Fang Buwei looked at the red dot and was moving.

"Damn..." Gao Sizhong punched the windowsill, but forgot that it was covered with glass slags. He accidentally stabbed it and another painful hum.

"The tunnel is on the first floor, let's go and chase it..." Gao Sizhong shouted.

"Section Chief, the fire just got up, please let me rush out quickly. Maybe I can still grab some things..." Fang Buwei reminded.

"Why don't you go quickly?" Gao Sizhong roared again.

"Section Chief, I was negligent in his position. I didn't expect that there were so many Japanese hidden in these two buildings?" Fang Buwei said ashamed.

"What's wrong with you? You can't even touch a hair!" Gao Sizhong sighed. Fang Buwei was not Sun Wukong, and it was already quite amazing to be able to do this level.

He said to a section chief of the intelligence department next to him, "Call the director immediately and tell him that we have started, but the driver ran away!"

Ma Chunfeng is in charge of command at the headquarters of the Secret Service. He has arranged personnel to monitor Yao Tiannan and can be arrested at any time.

But Yao Tiannan is not an ordinary person after all, so there must be sufficient reasons to arrest him. Only when Gao Sizhong and Fang Bu fail to get a certain result for this side can he take action.

Nanjing City actually has such strong force hidden, and now there is such a big disturbance. All this is related to Yao Tiannan's driver. The excuse is enough.

"Section Chief, the direction of the tunnel is north..." A team member climbed in the window and reported to Gao Sizhong.

There is a wall to the north of the alley, and behind it is a shanty town. Fang Buwei had pulled a rickshaw to reconnaise before.

Gao Sizhong further expanded the encirclement of the team members and soldiers on the periphery and sent people to search for the tunnel exit.

"Section Chief, I'll go too!" Fang Buwei asked for his order.

"Okay!" Gao Sizhong nodded.

The gunfight in the yard has ended, and Li Wubing is escorting several alive Japanese gunmen to come and report.

After looking at the location of the red dot, Fang Buwei asked Gao Sizhong to arrange a few more people, rode his bicycle and headed towards the direction of the red dot.

The driver didn't run far, at most dozens of meters, so he didn't have to worry.

Looking at the direction, the driver passed through the wall at the dead end. Fang Buwei pulled the rickshaw around and turned around. The walls were covered with low and dilapidated bungalows, which were dirty, messy and smelly, so the landlord of the small building built a wall to separate it.

The alleys in the shanty town are well-connected and twisted. Fang Buwei is not sure which one the drivers come out from. Will there be gunmen hidden nearby like the one on the small building? So I brought a few more people to take care of emergencies.

Fang Buwei did not dare to let the team members disperse, but followed him in a long line and slipped into the alley.

The red dot stopped, and Fang Buwei suddenly accelerated the speed. But before he could rush over, the driver started to move again.

Fang Buwei hurriedly chased after him and entered a narrow alley.

The alley is muddy and stenched.

A few barefoot children were playing in the alley like mud monkeys.

There were also a few old men basking in the sun in the corner. Seeing Fang Buwei and several team members, they all stood up in panic.

Fang Buwei looked at the location of the red dots and glanced forward again. He saw an old man with gray hair seven or eight meters away from him, facing his back to him and walking towards the other end of the alley.

Fang Buwei sneered and said to the team members next to him: "Who has the bronze?"

A team member who approached Fang Buwei took out his pockets and handed over more than a dozen copper plates.

Fang Buwei raised the copper plate in his hand and waved to a slightly older half-aged man.

The child was a little reluctant, but when he saw the money in Fang Buwei's hand, hesitated and walked over.

Fang Buwei threw a copper plate into the child's hand, put his mouth on the child's ear, and asked in a low voice: "Tell me which yard that person came out of, the money is yours!"

Fang Buwei turned his face and refused to let him look there. The child could only look at the direction Fang Buwei's hidden finger pointed with his eyes slanted.

It was the old man who walked out of the alley with his back to Fang Buwei.

The child's eyes lit up, but hesitated again. It seemed that he didn't pay attention.

The child looked at the copper plate in Fang Buwei's hand, then looked at the old men who had already stood up, and were about to get over, but Fang Buwei grabbed him.
