Chapter 39 The Trouble Picking Up (Part 2)(1/2)

Chapter 39: The troubles I picked up (Part 2)

Ten minutes later, the two stood at the door of Tang En's house. Tang En pointed to the door number and said to the girl: "Have I lied to you? No. 13 Garden Street, Branford, where I live."

The girl nodded, then walked straight forward and tried to open the door as if she was back to her own home.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Tang En was startled.

"Go into the house to rest." The girl turned around and looked at him and said.

"But this is my home. I have lived here... I have lived here for seven years, and I am the only one, and I don't have Aunt Ryan what you said."

"Love." The girl stubbornly held the door handle and did not loosen.

Tang En looked at the expression on the little girl's face. He suddenly felt that the child was very similar to his personality in some aspects, so he took out the key, walked up and opened the door, and said to the girl: "Okay, go in and look, you can find it upstairs and downstairs, I'll see if you can find your aunt Ryan.

The girl didn't expect Tang En to let her in so easily, so she stood at the door and hesitated for a moment.

"Why? You don't believe it yourself?" Tang En smiled.

The laughter stimulated the girl's competitive spirit. She held her head and walked in. "Just look for it, do you think I don't know? You live downstairs, and your aunt lives upstairs!"

She said as she walked towards the stairs. Tang En followed her and nodded vigorously: "That's right! I'm hoping that a beautiful aunt would live with me. She cooked for me, I washed her dishes, and then we sat together to watch TV..."

The girl stopped and turned around and glared at Tang En: "Aunt Ryan is already fifty-three this year."

"Uh..." Tang En scratched his head, "Then let it go."

While they were talking, they went upstairs. As soon as they came up, the girl saw an open door. She didn't even pay attention to the decorations inside the door. She looked up and saw a large photo of herself hanging on the wall. Under the huge red waves.

A man stands proudly with his hands raised.

All her attraction was concentrated on the photos and she walked in directly.

"Hey, that's my bedroom..." Tang En couldn't hold it back.

The girl stood under the photo and sighed: "So you are really a football coach..."

"Do I have money to lie to you?" Tang En rolled his eyes. How can I make myself look like a football coach? Wearing sweatshirts, white sneakers all day long, and whistle hanging around my neck? That look is so stupid...

"It's so cool." The girl exclaimed, then looked around, "Is this your room?"

Tang En also noticed that the room was messy now. The socks I changed yesterday had not had time to wash and the quilt was not folded. The clothes I took off were scattered on the floor, and the books I read last night were thrown on the bedside table or under the pillow.

The little girl clearly had a ridicule of this bad environment in her tone, but Tang En couldn't refute it. He scratched his head: "All bachelors are like this... OK! Come out, this is my bedroom, I am the master here! I didn't invite you into my room!" He suddenly found that he was acting strange, why should he be so weak in front of the "guest"?

The girl jumped out of it, and Tang En said to her, "Look. No auntie."

The girl pointed at the other three closed doors.

"Two small rooms that are not in a place, and one bathroom." Tang En pushed the door open and pointed it out to her.

After seeing these empty rooms with nothing but bed, the girl fell into silence. Tang En didn't know what she was thinking, but now he was going to see the guests off.

"You saw it. I am the only one living at No. 13 Garden Street, Branford. I don't know where your aunt is. Now you can leave." Tang En stood at the entrance of the stairs and said to the girl.

But the girl stared at the room in a daze, and then she said to Tang En, "I'll give you money, can I stay here for one night?"

This proposal was really unexpected. Tang En was stunned for a moment, and then realized that the girl wanted to treat her place as a hotel.

Tang En frowned as he watched the girl take out a handful of coins and banknotes from her bag and spread them in front of her.

"Isn't it enough?" the girl asked cautiously, "but this is all my money..."

"Where is your parents? I think I have to call them and tell you..." Tang En was interrupted by the girl's scream before he finished speaking.

"No!" she clenched her hands, "If you don't want me to live here, I can leave now!"

Her reaction was even more unexpected to Tang En. He decided to ask what happened: "I can let you live with me. I won't ask you for money either. But you have to tell me the situation of your parents."

After he said this, the room fell into silence. The girl seemed to be hesitating or thinking, and Tang En did not urge her.

For himself, it doesn't matter whether to take in or not to stay in the girl for a day. He was just a little curious. The girl's performance from her appearance to now made him feel strange, and he wanted to ask clearly.

After a while, the girl finally spoke: "I escaped from home... Actually, there is nothing Aunt Ryan at all. I was adopted since I was a child. But they treat me badly.

I hate them..." She stood in front of Tang En with her head down, with her long shawl hanging down and covering her face. Tang En could not see anything, but the girl's voice was very low, and that kind of annoying feeling didn't seem to be pretending.

This problem becomes complicated and difficult...will she become a problem?

The girl didn't hear Tang En's words. She looked up timidly and found that Tang En's brows were frowning even tighter.

"Okay, sir. I also know that my request is too much..." The girl who was shattered hope lowered her head again, carried her bag and prepared to leave here.

Tang En reached out and stopped her: "I agree that you live here. But... we have to sign something.

Well, it’s like a rental agreement. I don’t want any unspeakable problems to arise in the future... Be good to you, be good to me. Do you understand what I mean?"

The overjoyed girl nodded vigorously: "I understand! Uncle, you are such a good person!"

Hearing the girl's last words, Tang En's mouth twitched and stretched out his index finger: "I have to add another condition - don't call me uncle, I'm not that old yet! You little guy...uh, what's your name?"

"Judy, Jude`shania`jordana. You can call me Jude. or Shanny, or you can call me Xiao Qiao.

"The girl replied with a smile, and the afternoon sun shone in from the bedroom window, sprinkled on her face, and a hazy glow appeared. Looking at the little girl's happy appearance, Tang En really doubted whether her pitiful appearance just now was pretending...

When he came to his senses, Tang En continued to ask, he always had to ask the basic situation of himself, a temporary tenant.

"Okay, Judy. How old are you?"

"Thirteen!" Judy Shania Jordanna replied crisply. This answer scared Don Eun.

He tilted his head and looked at it carefully.

Tang En is 1.86 meters tall. The little girl stood in front of him and almost reached his throat. At this height... Who can believe that the girl in front of her is only thirteen years old? Especially with her long legs... her face is very pretty and tender, and she is in line with her age.

"Uh, can you tell me how tall you are?"

Shania thought for a while, and then said to Tang En, "Maybe it's five feet three, or five feet four? I can't remember it..."

Five feet three is about one meter six, and five feet four is about one meter six.

Tang En was frightened by this number again. He really wanted to ask what Xianya had grown up when she was a child, and how her adoptive parents would abuse her so that many women would not reach height in their entire lives at the age of thirteen?

Seeing that she stood very straight when she was very casual, Tang En praised in her heart: It’s really a model material...

The rest is simple. Tang En asked some of her basic information clearly, and then drafted a simple agreement, and the two signed the signature to get it done. Shania is a Brazilian girl who was fostering her adoptive parents who abused her every day.

She crossed the entire Atlantic Ocean. Tang En didn't think too much about this girl's precocious mentality.

In the evening, Tang En took Shania to the Forest Bar for supper, which immediately caused a small commotion.

Many people came up with wine glasses to greet Shania, but Tang En stared at her very unfriendly. Shania greeted the British with a smile.

Treat them like saying hello to yourself, but Don Ke knew what it would be like to be drunk.

More people gathered around and made Donne's joke. Even Burns came to join in the fun.

"Hey, Tony. When did you have a daughter?"

"Haha!" The men next to him burst into laughter.

Don Eun was not willing to be outdone and fought back: "Oh, dear Kenny. You know, I can't replace you in this kind of thing."

With even greater laughter, even Burns laughed.

Shania looked up at the two of them quarreled curiously. Everything here was strange and interesting to her. But she was not afraid of those men with red faces and excited spirits. On the contrary, she felt that she was safe. Why? She didn't know.

After dinner, Tang En did not stay in the bar as usual to drink and chat with the group of people because he brought Xianya.

"Goodbye, guys. I have to go home." Tang En pulled Shania and stood at the door to say goodbye to you.

A huge sigh suddenly sounded in the bar.

"Tony! Go back, no one will try to keep you, but Shania must stay!" Burns blinked at Donn.

His words were supported by everyone with laughter. "Kenny said it well, Tony!"

"I think beautifully!" Tang En waved his fists, "You go home and take your wife!"

Amid the laughter of everyone, Tang En and Shania left the Forest Bar.

On the way home, Shania was very interested in Tang En's relationship with those people.

"Are you very familiar with it?"

The curious girl asked casually. She suddenly touched a certain heartstring of Tang En. Those people in the past five months. Those things started from the bottom of her heart again and met Michael Di for the first time.

With West Ham United's exciting halftime break and the second half, George Wood, who loved his mother, was surprised when he first met Yang Yan, and the old coach Clauve taught him the "moderational" class.

Mark Hodge, the innocent little Gavin, the playoffs that failed... It was a half year that he thought about it himself.

"Do you want to hear the story, Judy?"

Shania nodded excitedly.

"This story is long and the ending may not be so satisfying. Do you still want to listen?"

"Let's listen! Listen!"

"It's said very early, very early... Well, okay, it was actually five months ago..."

As Tang En's hoarse remarks, the two walked slowly towards the setting sun, dragging their long shadow behind them.
To be continued...
