Chapter 60 Team Discipline (Part 1)

On Monday, December 7, the players who had just finished a day off after the game returned to the team for training. Most of them seemed absent-minded. Because the team had just experienced an important personnel change that would affect their future.

Players were changing clothes in the locker room while discussing their new head coach - for some, they were not "new" head coaches.

Some are excited, some are depressed, some are frightened...

Sergei Rebrov sat naked on the bench with his back against the wall. He didn't know whether he should feel frustrated or panic now.

It's ironic, the head coach who trusts him will always be dismissed, which is exactly the same as when he was at Tottenham.

At that time, he was taken from Dynamo Kiev to North London by Tottenham by Tottenham coach Graham. Both the club and the head coach had high expectations for him. The £11 million well shows how high this expectation is. But what? Not long after, Graham was dismissed because of the team's poor performance. Rebrov's own performance was not satisfactory. When the new coach Hodder brought six new players in one go, Rebrov knew that his days in White Hart Lane had come to an end.

Tottenham Hotspur once wanted to sell him. He formed a fantasy forward with Shepchenko in the European Champions League, but no one cares about it now. Later, he was temporarily loaned to Turkey's Fenerbahce team, but his performance was still not good, and he only scored one goal in half a season.

During this period, he not only lost his position in the club, but also his position in the Ukrainian national team.

This summer, Shepchenko just won the European Champions League in AC Milan, and he was welcomed like a hero when he returned home for vacation. When he appeared in front of the Ukrainian people with the trophy of the European Champions League, huge cheers burst out in the square, as if he was not the European Champions League, but the World Cup.

And what about him? He has fallen to the point where no one can ask for it!

The partner who became famous together. Why did the endings be so different?

In the rainy winter in London, he couldn't see through the heavy dark clouds above his head. Is the same true under the sky of Nottingham?

Is it really not suitable for English football? Is it wrong for my decision to go abroad to go abroad? Is it... why can Andre (Shepchenko) succeed in Italy, but as his partner, not?

In fact, in this team, Rebrov's situation is not very good. As the most famous star in the team, he has the highest weekly salary but has no contribution to the team. But others cannot say that the Ukrainians have not done their best and do nothing with money. He is definitely the one who works diligently in training. He never acts like a "Premier striker" and no one sees him lazy. Sometimes he is in good condition during training, but when he goes to the court, he can't find where the goal is...

This is really hard to understand.

Another person who seemed to be worried was Michael Dawson, the young captain of the team. But his reasons were different from Rebrov. He stood in the middle of the locker room, watching his noisy teammates wandering around the world.

Why is the boss back?

Veteran Ian Jace stood up, looked at Dawson who was still stunned, and frowned. Michael. This is not possible. You are the captain, and you cannot have any hesitation.

He walked up and touched Dawson, whispering his name: "Michael, Michael."

"Ah?" Dawson came to his senses and looked at Jace in confusion.

Jace sighed in his heart. Then he said to him: "Let everyone go out and change clothes for so long. If the boss knows, he will definitely be angry."

"Oh. Yes...yes, the boss hates things like being late for training the most." Dawson nodded and murmured.

When Tang En led the team last season, he would arrive at the training ground earlier than the team every day. Although he didn't care much about the concept of time in life, he was not careless at work. He said that he would start training at nine o'clock, and then if you run out of the locker room at nine o'clock in ten seconds, you would be punished to run around the lap.

In fact, Tang En learned this from his high school class teacher. When the stern teacher rang, he would stand outside the door with his watch and catch the late students. He thought this trick was good, so he used it.

Dawson looked around the locker room. The coaches were not there, and at this time, the captain, should be responsible. So he clapped his hands and said loudly: "Okay, everyone! Change your clothes and we're out for training!"

Not everyone listened to him. When everyone else got up and went out, Gareth Taylor was sitting on the bench and had not even taken off his clothes.

Collimore is indifferent to the team's discipline. Naturally, he has developed the habit of players being free and casual. Taylor is a newcomer who has only transferred to the Forest this season. He has scored ten goals in less than half a season and is the Forest's forward scorer. It's somewhat striking.

Dawson really wanted to go up and arrest the indifferent person and push him out. But Jace next to him grabbed him and shook his head.

He glared at Taylor helplessly, and Dawson and Jace ran out.

There was a drizzling drizzle in the gloomy sky, not heavy, but cold enough.

Don and Walker stood at the entrance of the passage from the locker room to the training ground, and it was already 8:59 now. They did not hold umbrellas, nor were they wearing raincoats or pullovers, and stood there, allowing the cold winter rain to gradually wet their hair and clothes, and then drilled into their bodies along their necks.

And they still didn't see anyone running out after waiting like this.

Seeing this embarrassing scene, Walker said to Don a little guiltyly: "Colimore... never cared about team discipline..."

Tang En nodded: "I understand. I don't expect a coach who doesn't come to the training ground to bring out a group of players who abide by discipline and time concepts. But... no one in the team came out, which was a bit beyond my expectations." He looked down at his watch, and it was about nine o'clock.

"Time, Des."

Walker nodded and began to turn on the stopwatch.

When the number jumped to forty-seven, a person finally ran out of it, Andy Reed.

"Boss!" Reed was a little excited when he saw Tang En's long-lost face. "Long time no see!"

Tang En nodded with a smile: "Yes, Andy, it's been a long time since we met.  You look stronger than before."

Reed scratched his head a little embarrassedly.

"Where are the others?" Tang En asked.

"Oh, they're still inside, Michael is urging them..." Speaking of this, Reed suddenly remembered that Don Eun hated being late for training, and he suddenly stopped talking.

Tang En looked at him and laughed: "Andy, you are forty-seven seconds late. You know what to do, right?"

"Uh...I, I'll go running the lap." Reed turned around and was stopped by Don Eun again.

"Don't worry, you are not the only one today. Go to the field and wait."

Reed's Adam's apple choked for a moment. He knew that everyone was going to be in trouble today, so he stepped aside obediently. But why was he still a little expecting in his heart... as if he was expecting a good show to happen.

Then more people came out of it. Most people were happy to see Tang En standing on the sidelines waiting for them. Tang En responded with a smile, never mentioning the topic of being late to run around.

Seeing Tang En's behavior, Reed became more and more excited. He completely forgot that he was also on the list of punishments, and he hugged his hands and watched the show happily. By the way, he counted how many people he had and how many unlucky guys had not come out.

Michael Dawson and Jace appeared in front of Donn. When he saw the head coach, his face was a little unnatural. But Donn took the initiative to ask him for hello: "Michael!"

"Boss..."

"What's wrong with you because you're not in good spirits? Your girlfriend kicked out of the bed?" After he said that, Walker and Dawson both laughed.

"Without a leader, she dares not kick me."

"Well, that's good. If I lose a central defender because you and her are in bed, I really don't know how to explain to the reporters. Haha! Go. " He patted Dawson on the shoulder, "Oh, by the way, how many people are still in the locker room?"

"One, boss."

Tang En nodded.

Dawson ran to Reed and found him giggling at the passageway.

"Hey, Andy, what are you doing?" he asked in confusion.

"Ah, it's Michael!" Reed smiled and grabbed him, letting him stand beside him and not block his sight. "That dawdler is still in the locker room, right?"

Dawson nodded: "He hasn't changed his clothes yet."

Reed smiled even more happily, "Awesome! I have long been disgusted with him, wait and see the show, Michael!"

"Well.  " Dawson understood what Reed meant and understood what Done was going to do. He was waiting for Gareth and Taylor to come out of it with anticipation.

The players stood in groups of three or three on the training ground, while the coaches were all off the court, and the new head coach Tony Donn and his assistant Des Walker stood at the entrance of the passage, facing the locker room.
