On the top of the hill above Dianjiang Terrace, there is a pavilion called "Fu Weng Pavilion". The plaque was written by Li Yimeng. It has white pillars and green tiles, double-layered curved eaves, and flying corners, which is very interesting.

Fu Weng is the name Huang Tingjian called himself after he was demoted to Fuzhou Tongben. It is obvious that this pavilion is a memorial building to mourn Huang Tingjian.

After passing Fu Weng Pavilion and walking further in, you will reach the core area of ​​the park, Liubei Pond.

Huang Tingjian stayed in Yizhou for three years and left hundreds of poems. From a place of depression and decadence to a place of love for reconciliation between himself and the world, it must have its merits.

This is a natural canyon that is about thirty meters long, more than twenty meters high, and about six meters wide.

The open exit is flanked by lush forests and bamboos, which evokes the artistic conception of Wang Xizhi, the calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, gathering in the Orchid Pavilion to drink water.

Walking inside, you will find that the natural landscape conditions are unique, with several large rocks towering into mountains, cliffs forming gaps, canyons opening and closing at a certain level, and the space high and low.

When I came here on a hot day, the cool breeze from the river was cooled by the cool rocks, which was very refreshing.

Huang Tingjian took advantage of the topography and natural springs of this canyon to build the famous Liubei Pond.

Liubei Pond is in the shape of nine curves, with eight stone benches on both sides, leading to a clear spring flowing through the cracks in the rocks. Literati and poets can sit in it, drink from the flowing cup, and sing poems.

The rock ravine is beautiful, the ancient trees are towering, and the artistic conception is quiet. Because of the cultural cliff atmosphere, this place has quickly become one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Yizhou, and a place where literati and scholars of all ages have chanted.

From the Song Dynasty to the present, there have been many works of praise by literati and poets who passed by, some writing about Fu Weng's high demeanor, some praising the achievements of building a pond, some thinking about the tranquility of the past, or feeling the emotion of the season.

Diverse.

Some poems and songs were carved on the sides of the rocks, gullies, caves and valleys like inverted high walls. There are more than 100 stone inscriptions starting from the Wushen year of Chunxi.

Sitting on a stone bench that looked like square stone pillars, I turned my head to admire the surrounding stone carvings. I saw the traces of many famous people, and I couldn't help but sigh: "The people here are much more famous than the people on the cliffs of Anle Mountain..."

"They said those eight characters were written by Huang Tingjian." Xiong Jiao and Liu Tao lived close to each other and must have been here many times, so they pointed to the cliff and introduced local allusions to Zhou Zhi.

There is a big character on the cliff. Each character is one meter square. It is a regular script with Yan style. There are eight characters in total. It says "Antarctic Old Man Amitayus Buddha".

Zhou Zhi couldn't help but frown slightly. Although Huang Tingjian's large-character calligraphy was also based on Yan Zhenqing's style, it was completely different from the eight-character calligraphy style. There was no name left on the large characters. However, it seems a bit far-fetched to say that Huang Tingjian left the calligraphy.

But apart from this, there are many other poems.

Zhou Zhi found several good poems here, "Chu rudders and Wu Qiang travel far away again, Huanhua enjoys his dream of Xizhou. Qianxun's iron locks are still hateful, but the empty Yangtze River is not locked."

The poem is by Lu You, but I don’t know if it was Lu You who wrote the title here. It probably isn’t, otherwise he should be very famous.

Fan Chengda, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, also wrote "I visited this pavilion many times in the evening when I was exiled to the valley of Dengsuojiangting in Xuzhou": "The old city of Shuikou is flat in the hills, and the new pavilion has iron bars across it. When I return home, I will hit the pavilion as if I were flying across it.

A sudden rain makes the autumn bloom. Two guests in the east building lock the river, and the writing and ink are both contemporary and poetic. I came here but I was drunk with spring green wine, and the star bridge pulsed towards the third watch."

There is also a song called "Wandering in the Cup and Pond". The calligraphy and poetry are of excellent quality. I can recognize the handwriting, but the author is thoughtful but not familiar to me. He was from the Ming Dynasty and his name was Li Chunxian.

"Who split the strange stone into a door, and let in the haze that makes you want to swallow it. The water has a source and flows into the jade liquid, and people pour out golden bottles from the mouth of the valley. There are clusters of beautiful mountain flowers in the seat, and the sound of reeds and birds singing on the table. The twists and turns are endless, and the love is endless, and I am happy.

Watch the bright moon turn over the river village."

In addition, the handwritings of Liu Guangdi, Zhang Daqian, Huang Binhong and others also appear on the wall.
