Chapter 46 Confusing

Outside the window, the snow is still falling.

The weather is very cold.

The temperature in the castle is also gradually decreasing, because after killing the two only servants, no one will add firewood to the heating fire.

Anthony followed Nana and soon arrived at the small attic at the top of the castle. He gestured to Nana, and the girl put the dinner plate in her hand on the small table in the corner, and then knocked on the door.

: "Mr. Suili, it's time to eat something."

There was a rustling sound from behind the wooden door, but the sound soon stopped, replaced by a man's clear and deep voice: "Just put it at the door for me, thank you."

Nana was stunned for a moment, turned around, and found that Anthony's brows were deeply furrowed, but he still nodded to her.

"Okay, Mr. Suili." Nana responded, and then Anthony grabbed her wrist and took her to the second floor of the castle.

During this period, Anthony deliberately stepped hard on the stairs, making a heavy sound every time he went down the stairs.

"Is the person in the room Mr. Suili?" Anthony asked as soon as he arrived downstairs.

"I don't know." Nana said very honestly: "I didn't know Mr. Suili before I took refuge in this castle, and the people who deliver meals to that gentleman here are his wife and son."

There was a slight silence, and then Anthony nodded: "I understand."

He quickly rushed towards Aite's room and took down two automatic muskets from the wall. After making sure that they were well preserved and ready to fire at any time, he handed one of them to

Nana: "Can you use it?"

"Yes." Nana raised the gun, adjusted it to the best design angle, and nodded, obviously having a deep understanding of this firearm toy.

"Great."

Anthony snapped his fingers: "Now, you go squat in front of the door of that small attic and don't let anyone come out from there. I'll go downstairs to find the key."

Although Nana didn't understand what Anthony wanted to do, she immediately did it.

In a sense, she and Anthony were already in the same boat, and more importantly, she had great expectations for the so-called prophecy.

This was an opportunity that could completely change her destiny, and she didn't want to let it go - as long as she became one of the two people in the prophecy who survived to the end.

Anthony ran straight to the male servant's room at the corner of the first floor. He remembered that when he killed the servant named "Old Bald", he had a bunch of keys hanging on his waist.

But when he stepped into the servant's room again, he suddenly froze on the spot - except for a bright blood stain, there was nothing here.

"How is that possible?!"

Anthony held his head in astonishment and tried hard to recall the scene when he killed the manservant.

He clearly remembered that it was he who stabbed the valet into the chest with a short knife, and that he and Nana did not leave the place at the same time until they were sure that the valet had lost his breath.

The matter of resurrection from the dead is obviously somewhat unrealistic.

Then someone can only drag his body away. Gu

Anthony's mood suddenly became complicated. He originally thought everything was under control, but he got stuck at the last step - there were definitely more than thirteen people in this castle.

He sat on the servant's bed, thought briefly for a while, then sighed, and decided to go to the top of the attic first to confirm Mr. Suili's identity - with the power of the latest flintlock musket of this era,

He should be able to break into the house with barely enough force.

On the way to the top floor, he happened to pass by the room used for heating. Although the room was still very warm at the moment, the flame in the stove had been completely extinguished. It only took time for the inside of the castle to become as cold as the outside.

question.

"Did anyone come out?" After returning to the small attic on the top floor, Anthony saw the intact food at a glance, but he still asked casually.

At this moment, Nana was still aiming her flintlock musket at the door in front of her, looking very nervous.

"No." Nana swallowed, her voice was very low when she spoke, and Anthony put his ear to her lips to barely hear her clearly: "But, Mr. Anthony, I just heard someone talking in the room.

"

"Conversation?" Anthony's voice immediately dropped. He quietly adjusted his posture to ensure that he was in a state where he could launch a violent attack at any time: "Are you sure you want to have a conversation?"

Nana said softly: "Yes, there are at least two voices, and one of them is a woman's voice."

"good."

Anthony took out a small wine can from his pocket, unscrewed the cork and took a sip. The strong aroma of wine filled his mouth, and his body suddenly warmed up.

He has never been a frontal attack fighter, so before doing this kind of thing, he needs some small stimulation and help.

Nana held up the automatic musket and watched Anthony walking briskly and calmly towards the attic door, and then knocked softly.

"Who is it?", the noise inside the door stopped immediately, and the man's calm and deep voice came.

Anthony said nothing and just continued to knock on the door.

The man inside the door also realized that something was wrong. After a brief silence, there was a sound of glass breaking in the room.

It sounded like someone jumped directly from the window.

Without any hesitation, Anthony pulled the trigger of the flintlock gun in his hand, and the powerful force of the gunpowder instantly destroyed the lock of the wooden door in front of him.

He kicked the door open, but did not rush in. Instead, he looked around the scene inside the door very vigilantly. After making sure that there was no "living" thing anywhere he could see, he took out a short knife.

He held it in his hand and walked in quietly.

Just as he walked into the door, a black figure fell from the sky. It was a woman holding a short knife in her hand. She had restrained her breathing from the beginning and hid on the door frame!

"Miss, a sneak attack is not something to be happy about, and you haven't succeeded yet. Isn't it too early to celebrate at this time?"

Relying on the agility of an "assassin", Anthony made an extremely irregular and strange movement with his body in an instant, barely dodging the dagger coming back at him from the woman's hand - as a true "assassin",

Before Anthony stepped into the room, he had already understood the blind spots here that were most suitable for an ambush and assassination!

But before he could finish his words, he suddenly froze on the spot.

To be precise, he was stunned on the spot with this assassin.
