Chapter 1 Don’t use your phone while walking(2/2)

Gurgling... Rhodes's stomach made an untimely sound.

Rhodes held his stomach and opened his mouth not knowing what to say.

Mirajane smiled knowingly: "Ah, I understand this, please wait a moment."

She made a gesture of pressing down with her hands, turned around and left the room.

Rhodes watched her leave the infirmary, picked up the cup, sipped the water, and began to sort out the few memories he had after the trip.

First, there was the sudden appearance of the forest and the strange-looking beasts, and then there were the few people he saw when he woke up, and the unique language they used.

This is by no means a world that I am familiar with, nor is it an ordinary world.

Rhodes wanted to know how long it had been since he fainted, what happened during that period, where he was, how to get back, and many more things...

But even basic communication is a problem, and there is nowhere to ask these questions, which is very troublesome.

He lifted the quilt, his leg still hurt a little, but he could move, so the injury shouldn't be serious.

"It's better not to move...even though you don't understand." Mirajane came in with a dinner plate, placed it on the bedside table, and made a sign of invitation, indicating that Rhodes should eat first.

On the plate is a glass of milk and two exquisite-looking sandwiches.

The triangular bread slices are cut neatly, with lettuce, tomato slices and ham slices sandwiched in the middle. The bright color makes it very appetizing.

Rhodes picked up one and gave her an uncertain and questioning look.

With her approval and the urging of the Five Zang Temple, Rhodes bit off an acute angle of the 'isosceles triangle'.

The entrance is filled with the soft, glutinous and sweet taste of bread and the smooth and delicious taste of ham.

Then the tomatoes were slightly sour and moist, coupled with the overly sweet sauce, which made Rhodes a little uncomfortable.

But the refreshing fragrance of lettuce alleviates this problem very well.

After swallowing this mouthful, Rhodes felt that he was really alive.

But then he no longer cared about tasting the delicious food, and just swallowed it like a cow chewing peonies.

After eating a sandwich, Rhodes' hunger eased a lot. He picked up the milk glass and felt the temperature on the wall of the glass. It was obviously heated on purpose.

She must be a gentle girl who is very good at taking care of others, right?

Rhodes cast a grateful look at her.

Mirajane smiled and watched him eat and drink quietly.
