Chapter 49 Afternoon Tea

The afternoon tea invitation from Principal Angers is, in the eyes of the students at Kassel College, an honor even more coveted than the highest scholarship.

The principal's office is not far from the Hall of Valor. From the outside, it looks like a simple two-story building surrounded by trees.

But it's a completely different feeling inside.

The first and second floors of the building have been opened up, and the simple bookshelves that form the walls and extend toward the dome are filled with a dazzling array of hardcover books, and several oil paintings by famous artists hang in several empty slots.

There is a huge skylight in the middle of the dome. In the exquisite white bone china cup on the table in front of Lu Mingfei, the steaming black tea reflects the still warm sunshine in the afternoon. There are a few pieces of baklava on a small plate.

, a layer of sunshine gold gauze makes them look quite sweet and delicious.

“Turkish Black Sea Rize black tea, the tea aroma is quite good.”

Angers sat opposite Lu Mingfei and drank the black tea from his cup elegantly:

"I heard that the equipment department has given you a lot of support."

"Just take what you need."

Lu Mingfei said.

"It is quite an achievement for a student to be able to get what they need from each other."

“No one except me and the school board can control these lunatics who think art is explosion.”

Ange put down the bone china cup with a faint smile, and moved his gentle eyes to Lu Mingfei:

"Let's get straight to the point."

"I know what you want to ask."

Lu Mingfei nodded:

"Yeah. The sinful heretic who calls himself 'Emperor'."

"You seem to have a grudge against him, but you can't find him."

"Sinful heresy? I quite like this title."

The smile on Ange's face disappeared, and Yousheng said:

"Yes, we do have a grudge against him."

"In November 2002, most of the elite members of the executive department of the college were swallowed up by the sea of death ice."

"Were you ambushed by them?"

Lu Mingfei asked.

"It's not so much an ambush...it's more like killing with a borrowed knife."

"Then whichever side gets killed is good for them."

Angers gently rubbed the bottom of the bone china cup.

"You'd better tell the truth, Principal Ange," Lu Mingfei sighed softly, "Unless it's about their location, I don't want to guess riddles."

"Can."

"In August 2002, an ID named 'Prince' posted a transaction request on the hunter website - it was a place where hybrids freely communicated and released tasks. The academy sometimes discovered information about the Dragon Clan from it.

and related alchemical items."

"The 'Prince' said that he wanted to sell a metal antiquities of unknown origin for money. The college recognized that the metal antiquities in his hands were actually the remains of a copper watch."

"You should have learned about the origin and knowledge of the 'Bronze Watch' in the course "The Origin of Dragon Civilization", so I won't review this aspect for you."

Lu Mingfei nodded slightly.

The "copper watch" refers to the history of the dragon clan written by the Black King Nidhogg on a towering copper pillar, called the Ice Sea Copper Pillar Watch.

"The college bought it for 10 million U.S. dollars at that time and immediately began to decipher the dragon script recorded on it."

"A month later, the academy learned from the remains of the copper watch that there are remains of dragon civilization somewhere in the Greenland Sea, and there are likely to be dragon activities."

"Then you rushed over and encountered a powerful alien at the Dragon King level."

At this point, Lu Mingfei could probably guess what was going on.

"That's right...even if he is not a dragon king, he is still a powerful next-generation species."

"It transformed Schneider from a gentle and handsome professor of dragon family genealogy to a cold-blooded vengeful evil spirit who trained his students into warriors and then sent them to the battlefield."

Ange said quietly.

"Then I feel like he didn't train him very well."

Lu Mingfei has only one comment on this.

"Compared with your performance last night, it is indeed not perfect."

"Watt Alheim was proud to apply for a research grant from me using a video of your first-person kill."

Angers did not hide the admiration in his tone.

Lu Mingfei refused to comment.

"It was later proven that the information on the remains of the copper watch was forged. We had reason to suspect that this was a conspiracy planned by the 'Prince', so we have been searching for information about him over the years."

"In the end, it was through my old friends that I learned about the 'Emperor'... or the existence of this organization."

"But I didn't expect that this time I would be able to find some traces of the 'Emperor' in the Sacred Heart Maria Hospital."

Angers said.

"Whether it is a person or an organization, their blasphemous behavior of harming human beings is enough to be called heresy."

"They will be purified."

Lu Mingfei said coldly.

"You are right. The black alchemy technology that transforms humans into Deadpool, as well as those that have been transformed into Deadpool weapons in large quantities... have far exceeded the bottom line of hybrids."

Angers picked up the bone china cup again and drank the warm black tea in one gulp. "Their dirty souls really deserve to be purified."

"The college is already working hard to track down the whereabouts of the 'Emperor', and we will notify you as soon as there is any news."

"OK."

Lu Mingfei nodded.

"But...don't you feel like you're being used as a weapon?"

Angers lifted the bone china teapot, and the dark red tea poured out, filling the porcelain cup with dense white steam.

The smile on his face became meaningful.

"I'm just doing my job."

"You are responsible for reporting where there are aliens and heretics that harm human beings, and I will be responsible for purifying and eradicating them."

Lu Mingfei said calmly.

"Sounds like a superhero protecting the Earth."

Angers smiled.

"What about you?"

"I'm curious that you immediately acknowledged my beliefs and changes when Manstein questioned my changes over the past few months."

"This should not be the behavior of a cautious revenge warrior."

Lu Mingfei's eyes were fixed on Principal Angers, the alien-hater who had lived for more than 120 years.

"You hate the Dragon Clan, that's enough."

"Like Schneider, I am a vengeful evil spirit."

"It doesn't matter what method or warriors I use, I will tie all the resurrected dragons to the gallows and kill them, fill their coffins with mercury, and finally light a cigar and face the sunset.

Sink them into the trench."

Angers said calmly.

"Then it seems that we have a common language in exterminating aliens."

Lu Mingfei said.

"Also, regarding the matter of the 'Emperor', I think Fingel is also very interested."

"Fingal?"

Lu Mingfei thought of that sturdy German man.

When they first met, he wanted to develop the other person into a glorious preacher of the emperor because of his eloquence, but then he persuaded him to quit because of his somewhat sloppy lifestyle.

I heard from Chu Zihang that that guy was still the head of the Information Department, and there was even a "scandal" between the two of them some time ago.

"Yes, he is also one of the survivors of Greenland's Shadow."

"He looks unscathed...so he's one and a half, right?"

"No, like Schneider, he only survived 'half'."

Angers shook his head.

I'm really sorry, I really had a headache last night, and I owe you all battle brothers another chapter.
