Chapter 117: Sing a Victory Song

When Frodo regained his consciousness, all he could do was in his mind was the boundless fear of the shadow master who had caused him to fall into a coma.

However, because of his coma, he was not sure at this moment how many terrible enemies might be hiding around him, still watching him in the shadow corners in the distance. The only thing he knew was that he was captured into the ancient tomb!

He was caught by the tomb corpse monster and brought here. Frodo believed that he was mostly under the control of the legendary corpse monster's magic power, so he did not dare to move.

Although he had recovered his control over his whole body, he could not help but alarm the enemy, causing him to wake up early, and he still lies motionlessly on the cold stone floor in his original posture.

Fear, like a shadow that cannot be lost, accompanied him. Soon, his mind and his heart were all affected by the fear that exuded a deep chill in the distance. However, even in such a central vortex of fear, it still could not stop Frodo from instinctively recalling the courage and qualities of the Hobbit that Bilbo Baggins told him in his childhood life and those rare adventure stories.

Bilbo once said that even the most obese and bloated Hobbit looks, his ordinary appearance hides precious courage, and this courage is not usually highlighted on its master. But when a terrible disaster really comes, you can always believe that the Hobbit people burst out with unprecedented great courage to face it and overcome the disaster!

Frodo was neither obese nor cowardly. What he didn't know was that Bilbo and Gandalf both believed that he was the best hobbit in the Charles region. No matter what the two elders who respected Frodo thought of him, he felt that the disaster was coming at this moment. He might not be able to survive it. However, he didn't know if the courage hidden in the hearts of each Hobbit in the legend made him develop fighting spirit. Anyway, he slightly raised his body and prepared for a later try!

When he was trying to maintain himself and recover from calmness, he noticed that a strange green light slowly appeared around him. At first, he could not see the surrounding environment through the faint light. The green light slightly projected around was projected from bottom to top through the gaps in the stone floor in the tomb. However, it was obviously a bit unqualified as lighting, and Frodo could not even see the specific situation of the ceiling!

He turned his head and found Sam in the cold light. Pipin and Merry were lying beside him. The few companions who were still alive just now looked pale like frozen people who had lost their vitality. They didn't know who had changed their clothes to white mourning clothes. Even if Pipin and others were surrounded by countless luxurious jewelry and gold and silver jewelry, these charming wealth could no longer emit charming glory as usual in such a strange environment. They had crowns on their heads, gold chains tied around their waists, and many rings on their hands. They had swords on their hands and shields on their feet. On their necks were a sword that was unsheathed.

A cold tune suddenly began. The sound sounded like Frodo was as ethereal and silent as it came from the ground, and sometimes as vague as fog. There was a sadness and terror in this series of intermittent tones. These words directly convey the singer's feelings: stern, cold, ruthless, and miserable.

The dark shadows continued to spread with the biting and cold singing, and soon, the entire tomb was filled with a biting chill.

He then heard the sound of crawling from the floor. He supported himself with one hand and saw that his location was actually a corner in an ancient tomb passage. Because of the skillful design of the designer of the ancient tomb, he could curl up in this corner and peek out without being discovered by others.

However, at this moment, he saw a slender arm moving along the floor as if crawling, towards Sam, who was closest to him, and was about to grab the sword on his neck.

At first Frodo felt that he had been turned into a stone by the sound of cursed and could not move. Suddenly, a thought appeared in his mind, perhaps he could wear the ring and use the invisible nature of the ring to escape! Then, the scene of himself running on the grassland to mourn Merry, Sam and Pipin; but at least he saved his life! Even Gandalf must admit that this is the only choice.

However, the courage to wake up in his heart before was so strong that it was irresistible: he could not give up his friends just like this! His determination began to shake, and his hands were struggling outside his pockets. At the same time, the arm was still approaching without mercy.

Finally, he finally made up his mind and turned over and pounced on his companion's body. He saw him swaying his hand and holding the sword hilt with force and slashing, and the disgusting corpse demon's arm was cut in half. A scream came from the tomb, and the strange light disappeared immediately. An angry roar of filial piety came from the darkness.

Frodo lay on Merry and felt his whole body beneath him. He suddenly recalled the scene that disappeared into his mind after the fog: the hut at the foot of the mountain, Tom's cheerful singing. He remembered the song Tom taught them. He whispered and trembled, "Ha! Tom Bombardier!"

Within Lao Lin's range, Tom Bombardier's name seemed to be given some magic power to provide Frodo with endless courage. Just when he started singing the song Tom taught him, a warm and spring-like upgrade floated around him, giving great shock and damage to the enemies in the shadows in the distance.

Everything fell silent, and Frodo could only hear his heartbeat. After hours of silence, a voice from afar, which was extremely clear, traveled through layers of barriers and responded to his call:

Old Tom Bombardier is a happy guy;

He was wearing a light blue jacket and yellow boots warmed up.

No one can resist his will, for Tom is the master of everything;

Accompanied by the loud roar, the stone door leading to the ground of the ancient tomb was then blasted into pieces, and a white light shook in, driving the boundless green light and darkness to the wall together.

Above Frodo's head, a magical power like a fantasy song, broke through a circular gap, and a rising sun shone on Tom at the door. The warm sun shone on the floor and illuminated the faces of the three hobbits around Frodo. As the warm sunlight spread on the faces of the Hobbits, the unconscious faces no longer had painful sorrow and glory, and everyone could see that they were vital to their naked eyes.

As soon as the song was finished, a wail came from not far from the tomb, and the entire rock collapsed. A shrill scream went further and further away, gradually disappearing into the distance. In the end, there was only a dead silence left in the tomb.

"Hello, Frodo! I didn't expect that we would meet again here, right?" Tom said. "Okay, it seems that your companions are not in a good condition. Now it doesn't seem to be a good time to chat! Come on, you have to help me with your help. Let's carry your three companions out first."

The two of them carried Merry, Pipin and Sam out together. When Frodo left the tomb, he looked back and saw a broken arm crawling like a spider on the ground.

"Frodo, you are waiting for me here, I will go back to solve something. Don't worry, I won't waste much time!" As he said that, Tom walked back to the tomb. When he walked out of the tomb again, he held a lot of jewelry and gold and silver jewelry in his hand. Looking at everyone's amazing eyes, he climbed up the green hill and threw these things under the sun.

Frodo was surprised to find that his friends moved and rubbed their eyes and jumped up. They looked around in surprise, first at Frodo, and then at Tom's sudden appearance here, he was stunned. Finally, they looked at their bodies wearing white corpse clothes and many pure gold jewelry.

"What the hell is this?" The crown on Meili's head fell down, covering his eyes. This made him even more strange and puzzled. Obviously, until now, he had not figured out what had happened around him during the period when he was in a coma just now.

When he opened his eyes again, he stretched his head at Frodo with confusion and asked, "Didn't we say goodbye to Tom? Why did he appear in front of me again? Am I dreaming? Frodo, where did you just run?"

"I thought I was lost," Frodo said. "Forget it, don't mention the old things again, that's not the point. The important thing is that we need to make a plan for the subsequent journey first."

"Sir, are you saying we should wear such clothes to consider the future?" Sam asked. "Where is my clothes?" He threw all his things on the ground, looking around with an unhappy look, as if he wanted to find the clothes and pants that the Hobbits were used to wearing nearby.

"You can't find the original clothes," Tom jumped down from the top of the mountain and jumped around them in the sun. Because Pipin, Merry and others who had just fallen into coma, didn't know what kind of thrilling dangerous incident they had missed. At this moment, they were still very upset about their sudden loss of clothes.

"What do you mean?" Pipin looked at him and asked curiously. "Why can't you find it?"

Tom just shook his head and said, "You have escaped a disaster. Compared to this disaster, clothes are just a trivial loss. Nothing is more precious than your life. As for the detailed situation, you should ask Frodo. Compared to me, he would explain it to you personally. Okay, please calm down and wait for a while before I come back. I will bring back the clothes and supplies you need."

By the time Tom came back, all four felt good luck and revisited them again.

Behind Tom, there were six obedient horses. In addition to their original five, there was an extra one. The one was obviously the old fat country baba in the song. Compared with their original horses, it was stronger, fatter, and much older.

It was obvious that Merry was the owner of the horse brought by Frodo and others, but at this moment, the six ponies were all obediently listening to Tom's casual name in a row. Finally, Tom bowed to everyone and said:

"Dangdang, I have found your mounts and horses!" he said. "To be honest, sometimes I really admire these smart horses. At least they have a good nose and know where they should not go. Although they seem to leave their masters and run away in disgrace, at least they are indeed in the right direction of escape. Although they are very loyal, the threat of the tomb corpse monsters is not something they can deal with. You should forgive them. Look, for example, in this moment when you lack clothes, the escaped horses can come back to support you with complete clothing and other supplies!"

Merry, Sam and Pipin took out the extra clothes from their luggage and changed them, and soon began to sweat. Because the preparations were not sufficient, they only had a few sets of slightly thicker autumn and winter clothes to wear.

"Where did that old horse, Fat Country Ba, come from?"

"As you can see, it is my horse," said Tom. "It is one of the few friends I can help me travel far, but I don't ride it often. I usually let it run around the fields and play with it. When your ponies move into my stables, they must have remembered the taste of Fat Country Ba; therefore, they ran towards the smell in the middle of the night and finally met my Country Ba.

Anyway, maybe my horse helped your ponies recover from calmness. Anyway, you can feel at ease to ride their own horses. They have already asked the dark influence of the ancient tomb corpse monsters. Oh, by the way, free country ba, Tom is going to ride you this time. Hey! I am going to send you a ride, so I have to have a mount. Even if I walk on two legs, it will be difficult for me to keep up with everyone riding. However, if I don’t send you a ride, how can I feel relieved? Who knows, besides the ancient tomb corpse monster and the old willow tree, will other creatures in the old forest be interested in attacking you? In order to help you solve potential troubles, I’ll give you a ride myself!”

After everyone knew about this, they felt very happy and hurriedly thanked Tom.

However, he smiled and replied to everyone: This is because they are so lost. If he doesn't send everyone to the border of his jurisdiction, he may be worried. "Of course, dear friends, I can't escort you all the time to walk out of Lao Lin." He said. "I want to sing, dance, chat and walk, and more importantly, I need to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of the natural and balanced guardians of this wilderness. Tom cannot always be close to the tomb gate or the gap between willow trees. Oh my God, Tom still has home to take care of, and the lovely Mrs. Jinberry is still waiting for me to go back to reunite!"

Hearing this, everyone laughed. They had known Tom's kindness for a long time, but Frodo also felt relieved if Tom could send them a ride next time. It seemed that in Lao Lin's realm, Tom Bombardier's name was really more effective than the legendary gods!
