Chapter 29 Bear

From the mountain, Shaya discovered that the Great Plains were not entirely flat, but there were many mountains.

However, compared to that lonely mountain, these small hills are not worth mentioning, and when they look down from a high place, they only notice the tallest lonely mountain and no other low mountains.

"Everyone, I found the traces of the orcs!"

Bilbo, who had fully assumed the role of flying thieves, came back and explained his discovery to everyone.

"They are not necessarily coming for us, are they? Shaya cut off the right hand of the pale orcs. He might be dead. Will those orcs still chase us?" Pang Bo said in a low voice.

"No, Pangbo, the orcs will not let us go. Even if the pale orcs die, there will be other orcs that will appear before us and block our way. The orcs and us are eternal enemies."

Duoli shook his head pessimistically, "Besides, he didn't die last time Thorin cut off his hand, and he might not die this time."

"Did they find you?"

"No!" Bilbo shook his head.

Gandalf smiled and said, "What did I say, come and go without a trace, an excellent candidate for thieves."

The dwarves agreed, and amid the noisy sound, praise hit Bilbo.

Bilbo said seriously, "They are looking for our smell all over the mountains and fields. I feel that the wolf smells us. It's just a matter of time. We have to do something."

"Sorin, Shaya, Gandalf, what should I do? Think of a solution!"

"How about we fight them?" Xia Ya suggested: "You have also seen my strength. As long as you protect yourself, I can kill as many orcs as you come."

He spoke proudly, not taking those orcs seriously.

The dwarves were silent. They did see the strongest Shaya's strength. Killing the orcs was like mowing grass.

But this proposal is not good.

The reason is simple and shameful, because they are not sure to ensure their safety in the army of orcs.

Although Chara is powerful, he is just a person after all. He may be able to kill many orcs, but it takes time.

But when he faced the orc army, he had no way to hold everyone alone. There would always be more orcs to deal with them, so the prerequisite that Xia Ya mentioned could not be realized.

They looked at the other two, hoping that they would give them a useful advice, "Gandalff Solin?"

"Look at it again. If there are not many orcs, we will use Xia Ya's method to kill them all, and then go to Gushan." Solin spoke coldly.

"I understand!" Thorin spoke, and the dwarves agreed.

They continued to set out, avoiding the orc army along the way, collecting information about the orcs.

Soon, their faces became solemn.

"You mean, the orc army is coming, searching for our traces all over the mountains?"

The dwarves frowned as they heard the news that Bilbo brought back again, not knowing what to do.

"Maybe we should go back and take a detour to Gushan."

"I was blocked by the orcs when I went back, and there were countless orcs behind us."

The orcs sent a large army to form a huge net, which was bound to capture them.

"I know there is a place ahead that may allow us to temporarily avoid the orcs' tracking, and we will continue to rush forward after they leave." Gandalf took a puff and spoke gently.

"What are you waiting for? Take us here!" Groyin said anxiously, and the dwarves agreed.

Seeing that Gandalf had not finished speaking, Thorin asked, "What's there?"

If it was a safe place, he believed that Gandalf would not say too much and took them there directly.

Moreover, there are now armies of orcs everywhere, and there is obviously no truly safe place in front of them.

So, as long as the danger in that place does not exceed the danger of being chased by the orcs, he can accept it.

Gandalf: “There is a house there.”

"Who lives in the house? Will he help us?"

Obviously, the people in the house are definitely not ordinary people, otherwise Gandalf would not have said it.

"No." Gandalf shook his head and spoke expressionlessly, "He may help you, but he may also kill you."

The dwarves don't want to accept this unknown choice, "Do we have any other choice?"

"I don't think so unless everyone stops going to Gushan."

"Then let's go!" Thorin made the decision.

They walked through the grass, through a wood, and finally saw a house appearing in front of them.

"Gandalff, there are people there!" Bilbo reminded loudly.

Not far from the house, a black shadow sat on the ground, not knowing what he was doing.

"No, that's the bear. Let's speed up and enter the house!" Gandalf saw it more clearly than they did and immediately reminded them.

"What?"

The next moment, the bear seemed to have noticed them, turned around and looked over, then roared, ran towards them with all their limbs.

"Hurry up, get into the house." Gandalf shouted.

The dwarves ran desperately towards the house, and the bears were getting closer to them.

As they ran, the dwarves were surprised to find that the fattest Pang Bo among them actually surpassed one after another and ran in the front position.

Excited by Pombo, they used their strength to finally run into the yard before the bear caught up with them.

"Quick, get into the house."

The dwarves hit the door of the house and directly attached it to it, but the door was still closed.

Xia Ya ran slowly in the middle. Seeing the dwarves hit the door one by one, as if they were going to knock the door open, she couldn't help but remind her.

"People, remember to open the door bolt next time you enter."

After saying that, he pushed away the dwarf in front of him and reached out to open the bolt on the door.

When the door bolt was opened, the door opened with a loud bang, and the dwarves rushed in.

Behind the bear roared towards them, Xia Ya clenched her fist, and finally she didn't choose to punch him out.

"Chaya, what are you waiting for? Come in quickly."

"You might not want to fight it, that's not a good choice."

The dwarves urged him loudly, and Shaya flashed into the house.

Seeing him in, the dwarves quickly closed the door.

The next moment, the bear suddenly hit the door, and the mouth full of fangs was right in front of everyone.

"Power hard, hurry!"

"Come on, hold it!"

The dwarves worked together to close the door, and finally closed the door bit by bit, put the wooden bolt on it, blocking the bear outside.

"Roar!" The black bear roared loudly outside the door, and his body kept hitting the door, but failed to open it.

"Huh!" The dwarfs breathed easily.

"What is that?" they looked at Gandalf.
