Chapter Fourteen Leaving Rivendell
A broken castle, under the white moonlight, the tall orcs of pale orcs stand in the ruins.
The orc, who had escaped from the elves, stood below in panic and explained to the pale orc what had happened during the day.
But Asog didn't want to listen to his explanation. After knowing that the dwarf ran away again, he angrily fed the wolf to the spoken subordinates, and then ordered the others to continue chasing.
Rivendell, when the first ray of sunlight in the morning shone on Rivendell's roof, the dwarves had prepared the meal.
The ingredients are made of the vegetables left yesterday. Although they are not in line with the dwarf's appetite, everyone knows that they must eat to have the strength to rush.
Besides, dwarves are not delicate, and even if they hate them, they will swallow them.
"It's time to leave!" reminded Chara, "otherwise it's time for someone to stop me from getting my generous bounty."
"Let's go!" Solin nodded. He also didn't want to stay in this place for too long.
A group of dwarves had already been packed up, and most of the supplies had been discarded before. Now everyone is lightly equipped and does not need to be organized too much.
"Gandalff is not back!" Bilbo said quickly.
Shaya patted his shoulder, "Don't worry about him, he can find us."
"Get the things, let's go!"
"Gentlemen, are you leaving?" the elf guard stopped them.
"Yes." Solin nodded coldly, his tone was not good, "Please get out of here."
"Please wait, we have to ask the lord."
"Are we prisoners of the elves or slaves of the elves?" Thorin was furious, and the dwarves drew their weapons one after another.
The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and the elf widened his eyes. He never expected that he would just stop him for a moment, which caused such a big reaction from the other party.
"Everyone, it's not a wise choice to use force here."
Although I don’t know why, Rivendell cannot lose his face. If the dwarf wants to fight, he cannot admit defeat.
"Friends, there must be a misunderstanding."
Chara stood up and stood in the middle, "Lord Elon invited us into Rivendale. I don't think the guests will become slaves in the end, right?"
"Of course it's impossible!" The elf spoke quickly.
This matter must be denied immediately, otherwise it will be a defilement of Elon's reputation.
Shaya continued: "Since that's the case, as guests, we should have the right to leave at any time, right?"
"Yes!" the elf nodded, "But it's a bit rude to Lord Elon invite you to visit, and it's not polite to say goodbye without saying goodbye?"
"I can only say sorry. Please say goodbye to Lord Elon on our behalf. We do have urgent matters!"
After Shaya finished speaking, she gave Solin a look.
Solin understood in seconds, took the lead, "Go!"
After saying that, he walked directly towards the elf and rushed towards others.
The elf frowned and finally made way out at the end.
The dwarves quickly followed Thorin, and soon they walked to the bridge entering Rivendale.
"Xia, my friend, are you leaving so early?" An elf was holding more than a dozen horses, waiting there. Seeing Xia's arrival, a gentle smile appeared on his face.
"We are in a hurry, so it's a pity that we can't have a drink with you."
After Shaya finished speaking, she introduced: "This is a friend I met yesterday. I entrusted him to buy some horses for us!"
"Beautiful job, it's our luck that you can join the team."
The dwarves praised them and went forward to choose their horses.
As Bahrain passed by Shaya, Shaya took a purse from his waist and turned around and stuffed it into the elf's hand.
"My friend, thank you for finding these horses for us, which really helped us to get the most out of our urgent need."
The elf took the purse and nodded with a smile, "You're welcome, my friend, good luck!"
"Goodbye!" Xia Ya waved her hand and turned her back onto the horse.
Then he urged the horse to walk to Bilbo, bent down and grabbed his collar, lifted it up, and put him on a horse.
"No problem, if it doesn't work, just be with them."
Elves are generally tall, so their horses are all tall and big, which is indeed a bit big for the dwarves and the hobbits.
The dwarves are fine, but this doesn’t have to be much bigger than their previous horses.
But Bilbo's side was not good. His previous pony was only a little over half of this big horse. It felt very awkward when he rode on it.
But the Hobbit was a strong man. He rejected Shaya's proposal, grabbed the reins, gently lifted the horse's belly, and urged it to step forward, "No, no, no, I'm fine, I'm fine!"
The dwarves walked past the bridge they had walked before, and Shaya turned around and waved to the elf, and turned around to follow.
"That's my money!" After walking out of the valley, Bahrain rode his horse to Xia Ya and said with dissatisfaction.
"You can ask Solin for reimbursement!" Xia Ya smiled slightly and called Solin.
As a stingy bounty hunter, his performance has always been perfect, and it is impossible to reveal flaws here.
Thorin spoke in front, "Baring, horses are for everyone, and this expense is calculated on the team's account!"
Bahrain nodded reluctantly and stopped pestering Shaya.
In the rear, in Rivendale's palace, Gandalf and Saruman sat opposite each other.
Saruman looked at Gandalf with a blank expression, "The Dwarf Expedition has always bothered me, I don't agree, Gandalf!"
He spoke without any room for negotiation, as if he was issuing the final notice.
"I can't agree with this expedition. If they asked me earlier, they wouldn't have to return disappointed."
"I don't know why you want to ignite their hopes, but this will only make them feel even more uncomfortable, but for the sake of peace in Middle-earth, they can only accept it."
Kellandriel looked at the red glow in the sky and suddenly felt something. He looked at Gandalf with his side, "They are leaving!"
She didn't speak, but the voice rang directly into Gandalf's heart. Neither the other two present were noticed.
"Yes!" Gandalf answered in the same way.
"You know!"
Gandalf's head tilted, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.
Keidandrel also smiled and turned to look at the door.
At this moment, a figure appeared down the stairs and walked quickly.
"Lord Elon, the dwarf left by himself!" The elf walked to the door and said quickly to Elon.
Elon and Saruman looked at Gandalf at the same time. Gandalf looked innocent and said helplessly: "The stubborn dwarf can always make some unexpected moves."
They suspected that Gandalf informed them, but there was no evidence, so they could only say: "Gandalf, they will not succeed."
