Chapter 34 Lane Town

Ryan Town is a place with a long history, which can be traced back to the era of wizards. In fact, Ryan in Ryan Town is the name of an epic wizard.

About thirty minutes later, Wallace and his group arrived at their destination, Ryan Town.

Three steam carriages turned from the avenue to a small road, then drove for another three minutes, and after passing by a hill, a somewhat remote town appeared in front of Wallace and his group.

The houses here are a bit dilapidated, and from the outside they look full of depression. The slightly dilapidated town in front is Ryan Town. There are less than 3,000 households in the whole town. The residents of the town mainly rely on agriculture to make a living. The only small road entering Ryan Town is also surrounded by farmland, but it is obvious that the farmland has not been taken care of for a long time.

Wallace's eyes showed his inspiration and his spiritual sense spread to the town along the path into the village. He kept observing the dilapidated town with his spiritual sense.

The entire town of Ryan is half old and half new. The houses outside are dilapidated and look very old, but the houses in the center of the town are brand new.

As Wallace's spiritual sense swept across the entire town of Ryan, he found that there was really no one. And the whole town brought him a very wet feeling, which made Wallace very strange and uneasy.

The steam carriage entered the town and did not stop, but went straight to the police station located in the center of Ryan town.

Outside the police station, Wallace and his group got out of the car, and everyone was lined up in three rows on the street at the gate of the police station.

"Ahem—"

Wallace stood at the gate of the police station and coughed lightly, then shouted:

"Everyone, let's be quiet. We still know nothing about the situation in this town. I decided to investigate it carefully. The town of Ryan is not big or small, and we will investigate it very slowly together. In this case, two security guards will lead four senior police officers to a team.

Group one, two, and three teams formed in sequence, one team searched north, two teams went south, three teams went east, four teams went west, and the rest searched for the town government and police station.

It is best for everyone to search for one person, mainly searching for the basement to see if there are survivors and any abnormalities. With our strength, even if we really encounter abnormal creatures, we will shoot together with guns. Even if there are really abnormal creatures, we can deal with them. Finally, remember to gather at the police station at 8 o'clock in the evening."

"yes!"

All the police officers started the squad in order and soon divided into five squads. The first four squads searched in four directions according to Wallace's instructions.

After leaving two senior police officers to look at the car, the Fifth Team followed Wallace into the police station for search.

Forty minutes later, Wallace led the Fifth Team around the police station and found no special clues. The entire police station was filled with a faint smell of fish. It was impossible to smell it without careful smelling it. The whole town was very quiet, but this silence made Wallace's uneasy.

This damn silence made me frightened.

After all, the documents sent by the town police station and the documents found here all state that the missing population of Ryan town is indeed possible. In addition, the entire town is missing, which is almost certain.

"There must be an unusual place in Ryan Town. Maybe I haven't found it now. Now I'll go to the town government to find clues to the case." Wallace said in his heart.

The town government is just a four-story building, but the yard is quite large

Wallace led the people to search from the first floor. There were no useful clues in the entire hall, but the same as the police station, and there was a hint of fishy smell.

Wallace walked in the corridor, constantly looking for clues about the case.

Suddenly, he found a pool of translucent thick mucus at the intersection of the corridor and the corridor. He took out his magnifying glass and observed it carefully, and a trace of tiny dark green blood came into his eyes.

Wallace smelled it through his nose, and a fishy smell poured into his nose.

"As it turns out, dark green blood, fishy smell, and mucus should not be wrong, but why can't the footprints be found and the blood and footprints of the disappearing people? Could it be that the disappearing person be locked up? Where will he be locked up?" Wallace was puzzled.

He shook his head gently, took a photo of the mucus with his camera, and continued to search up the stairs.

There were no new clues on the second, third and fourth floors. Just as Wallace walked down from the fourth floor, there was a sudden "bang!" and then a scream came.

"Ah~ah~ah———"

Wallace quickly ran to the first floor. When he saw several police officers running towards the stairs on the left, he followed him to the left.

In a blink of an eye, Wallace ran to the stairs on the left. He pushed away the few people blocking him, and saw blood red in front of him.

Two senior police officers were terrified and died with their eyes closed. They all fell to the ground, one leaning on the stairs and the other leaning on the wall, and the two of them crossed their bodies.

A big hole appeared on their chests, and blood had dyed all their clothes red. Blood was splashed on the ground, on the walls and on the stairs.

"What should I do? By the way, who came first?" Wallace asked loudly while taking a photo.

"Sheriff, it's me." A young senior police officer raised his hand and replied.

Wallace glanced at his badge and asked very seriously: "Secretary Locke, did you see the murderer when you came here just now?"

"I just vaguely saw a black shadow jumping out of the window. By the way, I saw the murderer's hand. The murderer's hand was not like a human hand, but like a frog's feet, with webbed between his fingers, and the rest was not seen clearly." Locke said.

Wallace looked out the window and found that the sky was gradually getting darker, so he took out his pocket watch and looked at it. It was already six o'clock, so he said, "It's already past six o'clock now. Locke, you guys can simply clean up the place and then carry the body back to the police station."

Wallace shouted again:

"Everyone gathered at the door, no need to search, now we will go back to the police station and standby with me."

Five minutes later, everyone in the fifth team, including the four people carrying the body, gathered at the door, and Wallace led them back to the police station.

Wallace commanded the two senior police officers who died to the office on the first floor of the police station, and then led people to seal most of the windows on the first, second and third floors, leaving a total of six windows that were not sealed, all of which were windows near the street on each floor.

Time flies. They just closed the windows and it was eight o'clock in the blink of an eye.

Wallace stood at the window on the third floor and looked at the town. There were only a few three-story small buildings in the town, most of which were two-story houses.
