167 Part-time Imperial Division (2 in 1)(2/2)

"Chen Yichen is now a compiler of the Hanlin Academy, why did he come to the Imperial College to give lectures?"

Zhu Qizhen was a little surprised. Logically speaking, he inspected and taught by the Imperial College. How did a Hanlin official emerge?

In addition, even if Chen Yichen invited a Hanlin official, how long has he been in office? In theory, he has not had enough qualifications to teach the emperor, which is really strange.

"I heard it was invited by the Imperial College."

When saying this, Wang Zhen rarely showed an embarrassing expression on his face. Do you still need to ask why?

"oh……"

Zhu Qizhen responded meaningfully, and he also remembered what was going on. It was indeed a bit embarrassing to ask in front of his husband.

But then again, Chen Yichen's three-yuan rankings and six-yuan leader has achieved the peak of literati, so there should be no doubt about his knowledge.

Let’s take a look at what Chen Yichen has outstanding in the history of preaching and preaching!

The group went to the Imperial College Auditorium in a vast way. At this time, thousands of Imperial College students were present inside and outside, just to be able to admire the emperor's face.

When they saw Zhu Qizhen's bright yellow imperial guard appear, these young Imperial College students welcomed each other, all of whom showed an excited and respectful expression on their faces. They were even a little excited and couldn't help but cry down.

In the auditorium, listening to the sound from outside, Li Shimian told Chen Yichen beside him: "Xiangbei, things are urgent today, so you didn't prepare in advance. When you are the emperor, remember not to be nervous and just do your best to do it according to your normal mind."

Li Shimian believed in Chen Yichen's level of knowledge, but he was not sure whether he could perform stably.

After all, when the emperor inspected the Imperial College Supervisor suddenly, he couldn't tell Chen Yichen in advance to let him prepare well, so he could only drive the duck to put it on the shelves.

The content of the lecture can be unremarkable, just moderate, but you must not stumbling in the process. Otherwise, your kind arrangement today will probably backfire.

"Late child understands."

Chen Yichen did not call him a low-ranking official, but was born late, which also showed the meaning of being close.

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhu Qizhen led all the honorary ministers into the auditorium, and the officials and students of the Imperial College knelt down and performed the courtesy of the ministers.

After the salute, Zhu Qizhen sat in the main seat and spoke, "I am so relieved when I inspected the Imperial College today.

"As a student of the Imperial College, you are the pillar of my future Ming Dynasty. I hope you can be studious and serve your country!"

As soon as these words came out, a group of people fell to their knees in the auditorium again, especially those young prison students who were in their passionate period, wishing they could die for the emperor!

"Students do not need to be polite. Today I am a student with you, so I will ask the Grand Secretary to give lectures!"

On the day of the Imperial College lecture, in order to demonstrate respect for teachers and respect for the Tao, the status of sacrificing wine will be greatly improved.

The emperor claimed to be a student, and his honorary officials were ranked second. Even the British Duke Zhang Fu held a flat ceremony with Li Shimian.

This is why countless literati yearn for the title of "Imperial Master". They can receive the emperor's respect and even salute. The glory is beyond words in the feudal era, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a glorious family and a glory to the ancestors.

"I am ashamed of my deeds and dare not take it. I will follow the sages!"

When Li Shimian heard this, he gave in a humble sentence, then stood in the central seat of the auditorium and began to teach the emperor and the officials.

As the Imperial College Priest, Li Shimian’s knowledge needs no need to say much. His lecture content today is selected from a passage from "Shangshu·Shu Yushu·Da Yumo".

"The human heart is dangerous, the Tao heart is subtle; the essence is only one, and the middle is allowed to hold on to the middle."

This sentence is the famous "Sixteen-character Heart Transmission" in Confucianism, and plays an important role in the Four Books and Five Classics. The ancestors and great scholars of all generations will put forward their own opinions on this sentence, which will lead to the more no one dares to say it in later generations.

After all, once you start by speaking this sentence, you will definitely compare it with the great scholars. The concepts you speak are similar, and you will not show your personal characteristics or strength. If you speak differently, you will be even more of a big deal and will definitely be heretical.

No one is a master of Confucianism, and he dare not touch these sixteen words.

So when Li Shimian's lecture topic came out, there was a depressing cheering sound at the scene. He was worthy of being the Grand Secretary and dared to set a precedent for literati!

The meaning of this sentence is that the human heart is unpredictable, but the Tao heart is subtle and difficult to understand. Only by carefully exploring and concentrating on it can one stick to an impartial and correct route.

Li Shimian’s teaching direction is to analyze what is the human heart and what is the Tao heart, and how can we avoid "seeking profit and avoiding harm", always maintain our original heart, and persevere step by step?

The answer lies in the words "结" and "中".

Only by specializing enough can we constantly eliminate wrong routes and answers, adhere to the concept of upholding, govern the world without bias, fairness and fairness.

In the past, great scholars interpreted this passage by understanding "zhong" as the doctrine of the mean, but Li Shimian focused on the word "jing", which can be said to have taken a different approach and made many students suddenly realize it.

After his lecture, the entire auditorium exclaimed applause and cheers, and even the emperor was present could not stop the students from being excited.

"The Grand Secret is worthy of being the master of the dynasty and is indeed very knowledgeable!"

Even people like Zhu Qizhen, who are disgusted with lectures, praised him after hearing Li Shimian's views.

Shen Yichen next to him was in a very complicated mood. On the one hand, he was impressed by Li Shimian's knowledge.

On the other hand, it was precisely because Li Shimian was too knowledgeable that he started to make a move and almost hit the ceiling.

Even if Shen Yichen is prepared, it will be difficult for him to reach Li Shimian's level, let alone he is unprepared today. He may not be as simple as going to the stage. Don't talk about his reputation being ruined for a lifetime...

After Li Shimian finished speaking, the master taught at the Imperial College Supervisor Ye He Rui. His direction of teaching today was not the Four Books and Five Classics, but the Neo-Confucianism of the "Chongren School"!

This is also the difference between the lectures of the Imperial College and the lectures of the Chronicles. The lectures of the Chronicles generally focus on the Four Books and Five Classics and historical books, and cultivate the emperor's ability to govern the country. Lecturers rarely take specific ideas of the school.

The Imperial College is more like a pure lecture and debate, which can put forward the views of the school to which the lecturer belongs to, thereby promoting ideas.

The Chongren School was founded by Wu and Bi, a great scholar in the orthodox dynasty. It was based on Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism and promoted its own exploration of the inner Taoist tradition.

In his opinion, when a person is disturbed by external objects, he only needs to work hard on his heart to calm his heart. By constantly learning benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom, he can resist the selfish thoughts caused by external objects and make his mind pure, so that he can get closer to the realm of a saint.

To put it simply, it is to achieve perfect self-sufficiency through one's own practice.

This concept is actually not completely consistent with Cheng and Zhu Neo-Confucianism's "preserving the laws of nature and eliminating human desires". It has some shadows of Lu Jiuyuan's "mind learning" in the Song Dynasty.

It is precisely because of this that Wang Shouren, a famous master of the study of mind in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, once learned from Wu and Bi's disciple Lou Liang, and was influenced by his theories.

Chen Yichen is really not interested in this kind of perspective of Neo-Confucianism, Mind, and Qi. It would be better to let him read the Four Books, Five Classics, Eight Essays.

But with the development of the times, the middle and late Ming Dynasty ushered in a great explosion of the school, and various philosophical thinking emerged one after another, which had a great impact on later generations.

Wei Congwen, the great Confucian scholar who came on stage later, was a disciple of Cao Duan, the founder of the "Huozhou School".

Cao Duan is not simple either. He is called "the crown of Neo-Confucianism in the early Ming Dynasty". He studied Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism to the extreme, thus developing his own theory on this basis.

The view promoted by Cao Duan was beginning to be similar to metaphysics, which was to advocate Tai Chi. Later, the "learning of things and mind" was developed, emphasizing that as long as "working everything in your heart", the principles can be dominated and the people's hearts can be purely adapted to the laws of nature.

This concept coincides with the previous "Chongren School", and it is precisely because of the premise of the Ming Dynasty that Neo-Confucianists constantly emphasized working hard on their hearts, which led to the vigorous development of "mind learning" in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.

When the great scholar retreated, it was Chen Yichen's turn to come on the stage to give lectures.

To be honest, the lectures of these two masters of Neo-Confucianism made Chen Yichen drowsy. No matter how philosophical their views are, they are all boastful and empty.

No wonder there were various schools in the late Ming Dynasty, and the party struggles and demons danced around. It was really a waste of talk to ruin the country!

Standing at the master's seat, the audience cast curious and expectant eyes on Chen Yichen. If we count by age, Chen Yichen not only created the history of the top scholar in the Ming Dynasty, but also had the youngest imperial division title, even if it was a temporary part-time job.

Zhu Qizhen also looked full of anticipation. Chen Yichen's previous articles gave him a lot of surprises. He wanted to know whether this young leader of the Ming Dynasty's literati could compete with a number of Confucian masters?

Facing everyone's eyes, Chen Yichen was in a very nervous and heavy mood.

He was originally the main subject of the Book of Documents, but he collided with Li Shimian. When studying the scriptures, Chen Yichen felt ashamed of himself compared to such a master.

On the perspective of the school, Neo-Confucianism now occupies a dominant position in the early and middle Ming dynasties, the study of mind has just begun, and the qi is in a weak state, and it is still waiting for Wang Fuzhi to carry forward it.

But the problem is that Chen Yichen does not agree with these three sets of Confucian theories, let alone let them be taught as their own ideas.

Unprepared at this moment, what can I say?

Seeing that Chen Yichen did not explain his teaching direction, the students and ministers in the audience all changed from the initial expectations to some doubts.

Could it be that the top scholar cannot express the pressure when facing such heavy pressure?

Especially the Imperial College students, many people regard Chen Yichen as their idol and a role model to catch up in the future. If he is afraid before fighting today, how many people will be extremely disappointed!

"The 1st Yuan Gong has been slow to speak, aren't ready?"

"I heard that the PRESIDENT of the Zhuangyuan came from the Hanlin Academy temporarily. It was not surprising that he performed abnormally in the face of so many great scholars of the dynasty."

"Indeed, even if you pass the Sanyuan period, you don't have much time to be obsessed with academics, and it's hard to match the great scholars of the dynasty."

"The top scholar, nogo, follows his goal, and he will never be frightened!"

"Three Yuan and Six Songs, more than just this level?"

Listening to the sound of remarks, Chen Yichen spoke, and he said firmly to everyone; "Today's view of my lectures is useful for the world, and we seek truth from facts!"

Since you are not satisfied with Neo-Confucianism, Mind and Qi, it is better to take this opportunity to promote a set of your own doctrines.

If you want to change this world, you can only change it for a while simply by force or system.

Only by changing your mind can you truly be done once and for all.

The theory chosen by Chen Yichen is the ancient vest version of dialectical materialism!
