Chapter 12 Obsession
Chen Chu's head roared and he instantly reacted.
He looked at the young man in front of him and suddenly guessed who he was.
But...but I don't know where Old Man Deng's hometown is, and I have never seen him before. He should not know him.
In the sky, the fish belly turned white, the sun gradually rose, and the sun shone on the villa.
Chen Chu's head sank and the sounds around him gradually disappeared.
When Chen Chu was awakened, it was almost noon.
It was Sister Mei who pushed him awake.
"Get up and prepare to have lunch." Sister Mei bent down and stood beside the bed. She had washed up and put on her face.
Chen Chu was still a little confused and lay on the bed for a long time before he realized it.
After getting up, I folded the quilt after washing up, and then went downstairs with Sister Mei.
Old Man Deng sat downstairs on a chair, bent down to see something.
Seeing Old Man Deng’s back, Chen Chu couldn’t help but think of the very real dream he just had.
Sister Mei walked over and sat down on the vacant bench next to her, "What should I eat for lunch?"
"It must be a box lunch." Pu Yu said.
Pu Ji interrupted, "It's not as delicious as my brother."
"Eat first, tell me what you want to eat when you get back." Pu Yu said to his younger brother.
"Xiao Chen is here, let's not go and have some good food," said Sister Mei. "The fisherman on Nanbin Road is good, and the grilled fish is delicious."
"Let's wait for the three days of the wake to end. If nothing happened in these three days, we will have a dinner together after the deceased is buried with peace of mind." Li Yin said.
Old man Deng crossed his legs, closed his eyes and leaned behind him.
However, judging from his slightly shaking legs, he was not asleep.
Chen Chu thought of last night's dream.
After hesitating for a moment, Chen Chu sat down.
"Old Deng, what are you thinking?" Chen Chu asked.
"Why is the curiosity of every child so strong?" Old Man Deng shook his head.
"Old Deng, I heard that your hometown is from Qianzhou?" Chen Chu asked.
Old Deng turned his head, squinted Chen Chu, and then shouted to Sister Mei: "Little girl, you are talking nonsense again."
Sister Mei didn't care, "He will definitely know it in the future. It's no difference between getting started sooner or later."
Old Deng sighed, "My hometown is from Qianzhou, deep in the mountains."
"Old Deng, you have a small natural reservoir in your hometown."
Old Deng didn't care. Since Sister Mei had said those things, it was not surprising that Xiao Chen knew that there was a reservoir in his hometown.
Just mentioning the reservoir reminded him of something and his expression became dim.
"Is that reservoir crescent-shaped?" Chen Chu continued.
Old Deng's arms trembled, and he looked at Chen Chu in surprise.
He remembered that he had never told others so much, and at most he told others that there was a reservoir in his hometown.
When Chen Chu noticed Old Deng's surprised expression, he knew that the truth of the matter might be what he guessed.
What you did in the morning might not be a simple dream.
"In my dream, I dreamed of a young man living by the reservoir. He asked me to send a word to his grandfather, could the food he cooked him change to the taste? He said he had vomited." Chen Chu said.
"..." Lao Deng's face changed.
He took a deep breath and cursed, "This brat has been picked up. I will burn a few wives for him and ask him to give birth to a nest of great-grandsons for me below."
Although he was verbally scolding, Lao Deng couldn't help but smile on his face.
"If you have something to do, you don't look for me, your grandfather, and you ask someone else to tell me, just don't want to see me." After saying that, Old Man Deng stood up and walked quickly towards the front hall.
Old Deng was moving very quickly. At night, Chen Chu saw him sitting on the chair next to him and got colored paper and scissors glue from somewhere.
In Lao Deng's hands, these various colors of cardboard and colored paper were cut into foods of different shapes.
There are buns, roast duck, and hot pot.
His hands were like magic, and the scissors seemed to come alive in his hands.
After a while, Lao Deng prepared a lot of food made of paper.
At night, the back hall returned to quiet.
Chen Chu wanted to go to the bathroom, but it was okay during the day, but the mourning hall at night was so quiet that it was a little scary.
After taking a look, the class master who disappeared without knowing where to go.
Old man Deng, sitting beside him, lowered his head and cut paper, and Sister Mei, who was watching the drama with her mobile phone.
And the Pu brothers who work hard with gongs and drums.
Chen Chu felt a little numb, why did he feel... these two brothers are the most tiring to work.
There is no complaint yet.
He looks hardworking.
Chen Chu thought about it and asked Lao Deng if he could accompany him to the bathroom.
"Why are you so brave? Forget it, I'll just go to the bathroom too." Old Deng nagged, but he still put down the scissors in his hand.
Get up and accompany Chen Chu to the public toilet at the end.
"Old Deng, are we keeping our minds for three days to prevent zombies?" Chen Chu asked.
Now Chen Chu has a little sense of smell. The work he usually does in the funeral class should be more or less dirty.
"It's almost the same, but it's not called a corpse, it's called a spirit." Old Deng said.
"But it's not all for this. After all, they are staff members of the Municipal Administration and died in the line of duty, and there are some other things involved." Old Deng and Chen Chu stood side by side on the left and right sides of the urinal, facing the wall.
The sound of footsteps came from outside the corridor, and the sound of footsteps was getting closer and closer.
Old Deng shook, tied his belt, and went to the sink to wash his hands.
"Hello, can you ask about the road? I seem to be lost."
A man's voice came from outside the toilet.
Old Deng's expression became strange and he looked back at Chen Chu.
"You guy is really evil. You're looking for you."
Chen Chu laughed dryly, he didn't know either, but fortunately he found someone to accompany him.
A man in casual clothes stood outside the toilet.
The man is wearing a common summer black T-shirt, with a medium figure and very square-combed hair.
Chen Chu recognized this person at a glance.
His photos are still hanging in the back hall.
That black and white photo.
But now he is standing in front of himself alive.
Chen Chu observed carefully and found something was wrong. The man's face was a little gray and not as rosy as a normal person.
However, it was a little less obvious when being illuminated by the lights in the public toilet at night.
"Where did you come from?" Old Deng asked.
The man was stunned and a little confused appeared in his eyes.
He muttered, "I don't know either, I just feel lost. I want to go out but can't get out. I have been wandering around the neighborhood for the past two days."
"What are you looking for?" Old Deng said.
"Yes, I just feel uncomfortable in my neck. I think I should go to the hospital, but I can't get out."
The man murmured.
There is a light red line around the man's neck.
It looks like a scar, or the shallow scar on the neck of a model in the store.
"What else do you want to do besides going to the hospital?"
Old Deng said.
"I still want...I still want..." The man looked thoughtful.
