Chapter 1573 Yangsuizun, Divine Power Cup

In this kind of Jiulong Cup in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, the dragon head in the cup has hidden mystery.

The wine can only be shallow and flat, not too full. If the wine is too full, it will leak light.

As the saying goes, "fullness brings harm, humility brings benefits", is the most fair.

Therefore, after understanding the situation, Emperor Hongwu named the "Jiulong Cup" "Jingdao Cup".

Confucius once said a kind of "a uttering tool". If the bottle is empty, it will be tilted and the water level will be upright.

If it is full, it will overturn and not be left.

A wise ruler often placed his seat on the side of his seat with precepts.

Although the "Sitting Tool" is not a fair cup, it interprets the same doctrine of the mean.

Those who are greedy have no water, and those who are content have no water.

The emperor advises the king not to indulge in alcohol and sex to harm the country, and the subordinates tell the people not to be greedy and to be restrained and moderate.

Green ant fresh wine, red mud stove.

It’s time to snow in the evening, can you drink a cup?

How can you miss a great wine utensil when enjoying fine wine?

There are a wide variety of wine vessels in China, and the main purpose is to have the word "elegant".

However, when doing things, you must not only be "elegant" but also be "controlled".

This uses the great wisdom product that gathered our ancestors - the Justice Cup!

Since I want to imitate the Justice Cup, it is naturally impossible to make only one Qianlong blue and white instrument.

The history of the Justice Cup is very long.

The Tang Dynasty "A Collection of Arts and Literatures" records: "The inscription of Sun Chuo of Jin Dynasty is... Looking at this instrument in detail, it is wonderful and unique. If you drink it, it will be noted, and if you receive it, it will be sideways. If you spit it out, it will be written in a while, but you will not see it exhausted."

The jar described in this is the Yangshuzhu of the Jin Dynasty.

Yangshuzun means wine-injection instrument, also known as funny.

Volume 761 of "Taiping Yulan" quotes "Han Ji Yi" by Cui Hao of the Later Wei Dynasty: "It is funny, and it is a wine vessel. It is a long time to spit out wine, like the Yang Shun in the present day."

Sun Chuo of Jin wrote "The Inscription on Yangshu Zun".

Legend has it that when the Yang Shu is in an empty bucket, it is tilted.

Pour wine into the bottle and the bottle will be automatically straightened.

If you continue to pour the wine until it is almost full, the bottle will slowly tilt again.

This wonderful phenomenon occurs because there is a siphon in the Yang Shu, so it will "spray and write for a while, but it will not be exhausted."

From this we can see that Yang Suizun was the earliest application of the principle of the Justice Cup in the Jin Dynasty.

Of course, this kind of bottle is not simple and controversial.

Jiuzun is one of the common burial objects in high-level tombs during the Han Dynasty.

Some tomb murals or stone paintings, and the use of them for kitchens, banquets and other activities can also be seen on the bricks.

Even though there is a "warm wine jar" among its own utensils, the wine jar is still regarded as a wine jar by the academic community.

However, according to the historical documents, the function of the wine lord is not limited to serving wine.

According to historical records, "Changman Zun" can be noted while drinking.

The wine lord that appears in the scene of the wine making preparation of the portrait stone and the portrait brick may be related to the wine making.

Northern Wei scholars used "Yangsuizun" to annotate the "funny" wine vessels of the Han Dynasty.

However, the actual shape of the "Yangsuihun" and its connection with the wine-flowing utensil are still unclear.

Related to Zun, the ancients used Shangzun wine, Zhongzun wine and Xiazun wine to represent the "difference of watering".

Let’s first talk about the identification of “funny” and “Yangshuzun”.

According to historical records, at the latest in the Northern Wei Dynasty, a relatively special "Yangsuizun" appeared.

However, so far, the shape and cultural significance of "Yangsuihun" have not attracted the attention of the academic community.

There are two important information in the "Taiping Yulan" record of "funny".

First, there was a relatively special "Yangsuizun" during the Northern Wei Dynasty.

At the latest, he was the eleventh year of Taiping Zhenjun, that is, before Cui Hao was sentenced in 450;

Second, "Yangsuizun" is like a funny thing, and its main function is to "turn the wine to dip wine", which is different from ordinary wine masters that can hold wine.

But it seems that it is inconvenient to determine what "Yang Suizun" mentioned by Cui Hao is.

Because under the "Zunyi" section of "Taiping Yulan", Sun Chuo of the Eastern Jin Dynasty also quoted "Yangsui Zun": "Looking at this tool in detail, it is wonderful and clever! If you drink it, you will be noted, and if you receive it, you will be closed. If you spit it out, you will be closed. If you write it out, you will not see it exhausted."

Does this indicate that "Yangsuizun" appeared in the Eastern Jin Dynasty?

But unlike the "Yangsuizun" of the Northern Wei Dynasty, it still has the function of holding wine?

Obviously, if we do not clarify the contradiction between Cui Hao’s words and Sun Chuo’s "Yangsu Zun Inscription", it will be difficult to confirm the “Yangsu Zun” and its use functions.

The "Yangsuizun" mentioned by Cui Hao is only seen in "Taiping Yulan".

However, Sun Chuo's words quoted in "Taiping Yulan" are also found in "Arts and Literature Collection" by Ouyang Xun in the Tang Dynasty and "The Collection of Sun Tingwei of the Jin Dynasty" compiled by Zhang Pu in the Ming Dynasty.

Among them, the "Zun" article in "Arts and Literature Collection" says: "The inscription of Sun Chuo of Jin Dynasty says: 'The master's body is made of things... and it is arranged with folding. Looking at this tool in detail, it is clever and unique. If you drink it, it will be noted. If you receive it, it will be sideways. If you spit it out, it will be written in a while. If you don't see it exhausted... The prince and the prince will write it, and the virtue will be the best of the philosophers."

The content of "The Collection of Sun Tingwei of Jin Dynasty: Ming" is exactly the same as "Arts and Literature Gathering", and only "blade" is changed to "mark".

"大" is the regular character, and "大" means to use the standard design and to discuss the appearance.

The relevant words quoted in "Taiping Yulan" and the two are only the difference between "when you are full, you are sideways" and "when you are full, you are closed", which should be the same work by Sun Chuo.

However, "A Gathering of Arts and Literature" and "Jin Sun Tingwei Collection" are only called "Zunming" or "Inscription", and neither is called "Yangsuizun Inscription".

From this point of view, "Taiping Yulan" may have been mistaken for mistakes.

No matter what, from these classic descriptions, this should be the fair cup.

Of course, other explanations include wine warmers, a tool funnel in wine making, etc.

Here, Chen Wenzhe thinks it is a fair cup. After all, some of the shapes of this kind of bottle can be seen from the murals of some ancient tombs.

Since it has a look and a functional description, it is not difficult for him to copy one.

In fact, cups with this description also existed in ancient times.

Legend has it that during the reign of Emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty, there was an artifact called "Shentongzhang".

Tao Yi of the Song Dynasty recorded this item in "Qing Yilu".

"Wenzong was a tyrannical official, and he was hindered when he moved, and he was quite drunk. The concubines and small households were disgusted with it and fought for bribes to the deacons. Then they made golden cups and used golden lotus, lotus, and tiles as rings to tie the plate. In fact, the hollow cups were hollow, and the cups were full, which could be introduced into the plate. When people didn't know it at first, they had the name "Shenzhen Cup" and "The Plate of Things".

It means that if the wine in the glass is full, it will flow into the tray at the bottom of the glass.

This is exactly the same as the principle of the Justice Cup, so many scholars believe that the "Shenzhen Cup" in the Tang Dynasty was the earliest Justice Cup.

This denies the previous Yangshuzun. If the Yangshuzun in the Northern Wei Dynasty was not the Justice Cup, then the magical cup of the Tang Dynasty would be the earliest Justice Cup?

Unfortunately, this magical power cup has never been discovered yet.

And in the Song and Yuan dynasties, the real thing was finally discovered by the Justice Cup.

There is a piece of Longquan Kiln Celadon Fair Cup in the Linhai Museum in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province, which is the Longquan Kiln Celadon Fair from the late Song and early Yuan dynasties.

The Justice Cup means "control". Contentment is the way to live longevity that the ancients generally believed by the ancients, so there is a birthday star standing in the cup.

Unfortunately, only the cup body is still there, and the cup holder under the cup is gone.
