Chapter 327 Staring at Love and Death

"Basically speaking, it's the hard work of a person who will never end up even if he doesn't work hard." Ye Zhao thought about it, and roughly explained the plot of "The Bottom Hot Girl" to Tsuki Yukihiko.

Because I came together to drink temporarily, the movie was also suddenly talked about, and of course the script was completely unprepared. However, even if you rely solely on oral statements, you can basically tell the story clearly.

Yukihiko Tsuki listened very seriously. He didn't say "hmm" until he finished speaking, picked up the wine glass and drank some wine, "It's surprising."

"Accident?" Ye Zhao was a little puzzled by his words.

"Yes, although it is a simple story, it is surprisingly attractive. There is a touching warmth." Tsukiyuki thought for a while, "However, if you want to shoot that kind of taste, you can't do without a suitable director."

"That's true," Ye Zhao nodded and went to see Yukihiko Tetsu.

Tsuki Yukihiko said seriously, "I'll make a statement in advance. Although I like this script, I don't think I'm good at such subjects. In order not to mess up, I'll ask Ye Jun to choose another director this time."

Ye Zhao secretly agreed with this in his heart. Tsuki Yukihiko's style is indeed not suitable for making such a movie.

Since he said it straight away, Ye Zhao said with the flow: "But even if Di Sang said that, there is still something you need to help."

“What’s the specific place?”

"I would like to ask Tisang to recommend the right director Sang to make this movie."

"That's fine... I'll pay attention." After Tsukihiko agreed, he said regretfully, "I'm not sure what to shoot again."

"Actually," said Ye Zhao, "I also thought of something I wanted to take."

“Other?”

"Did Thisan know the story of college students Mr. Miko Kono and Miss Michiko Oshima?"

"Mr. Kono and Miss Michiko Oshima?" Tsukihiko recalled, "Is it "Gaze at Love and Death"?"

"That's right," Ye Zhao nodded, "It's these two. Miss Yoshinaga Kosairi once made related movies."

"Gaze at Love and Death" is a film that changed based on real events in 1964.

The incident began in 1960. To treat ear disease, Miko Kono, a student from Tokyo, went to an Osaka hospital where she met Michiko Oshima who was hospitalized due to chondrosarcoma. The two met and fell in love.

Afterwards, Kono Michiko returned to Tokyo after being cured, and Michiko Oshima recovered and was discharged from the hospital and was admitted to university. The two started a long-distance relationship with letters and imagined a better life in the future.

But the good times didn't last long. Soon after, Michiko Oshima's condition relapsed and she had to be admitted to the hospital again. This time, there were only two ways before her, surgery or death.

However, one special thing is that her chondrosarcoma grows on her face. If she wants surgery, her right half of her face will be completely removed.

When she was at a loss, Michiko Kono, who was far away in Tokyo, wrote a letter to encourage her, and said, "No matter what she becomes, I hope she can survive." Michiko Oshima got the courage to undergo surgery.

After the operation, Mi Kono was by her side, hoping to overcome difficulties with her. However, fate was awkward, and the operation was still unsuccessful. Michiko Oshima's condition relapsed and chondrosarcoma metastasized to her right face. This time, even the operation was unable to make up for the situation. In 1963, Michiko Oshima, who was only 21 years old, passed away.

After Michiko Oshima passed away, Kono Minor published his letters from him and Michiko Oshima over the past three years. This book that records the relationship between them was sold 1.5 million copies in Japan and was adapted into a film and television drama.

The movie adapted in 1964 was starred by Yoshinaga Kosai, who was only 19 years old at the time.

Just talking about this story, Ye Zhao reminded me of Ichinaya and "One Literal Tears". It was also a real thing, a girl with an incurable disease, and a boy who was with the girl.

However, compared to "A Literal Tears", "Gaze at Love and Death" is much less well-known.

Some of them are issues of age. Miko Kono's book was published in the 1960s, while Yaya Kito (Aya Ikenai) was published in the 1980s, and was reprinted in 2005. This makes the story of Michiko Oshima very far away.

Of course, the issue of the times only takes up a little bit. The most important thing is that "One Literal Tears" was filmed into a TV series that earned the public's tears in 2006. Erika Sawajiri, who plays the heroine Aya Ikenai, became the top actress in one fell swoop. If there were no blackface incidents and "nothing", her future would be absolutely limitless.

In contrast, after the story of Miko Kono and Michiko Oshima was made into a movie in 1964, it was not until more than 40 years later that Asahi TV filmed a four-hour documentary of the same name, "Gaze at Love and Death", starring Ryoko Hirosu and Takashi Kusama of SMAP.

However, the reason why I thought of making a documentary after many years is that there may not be no social topics caused by the popularity of "A Literary Tears" with similar themes.

Moreover, because it is a documentary, this "Gaze at Love and Death" is definitely not as rewarding as the TV series, so it is naturally not well-known.

"Miss Yoshinaga Kosairi..." When she mentioned her name, Yukihiko Tsuki nodded clearly, "Yes, you are a big fan of Miss Yoshinaga, no wonder you know about the movies that have been around for so long."

"But in fact, I have never seen this movie, I have only seen the poster of the movie." Ye Zhao had a regret, "If possible, I would be able to watch it once."

"Actually, there is no way." Tsukiyuki shared the experience of filmmakers. "Just find a film company and pay the film cost, you can see it."

"Another person can do it?" Ye Zhao seemed to have been opened to a new world.

Yukihiko Tsuki smiled, "Ye Jun is no longer an ordinary person. No matter what, he is still someone who has contact with the film industry."

"So, there are additional benefits to making movies..." Ye Zhao also laughed, "After that being said, I'm really looking forward to it. Miss Jiyong was only nineteen years old at that time, and she was the best age... However, if it were Miss Jiyong, it felt like she was the best age no matter when."

"This is. As a filmmaker, it would be a supreme honor to work with her." Tsuki Yukihiko sighed for a moment and got to the point, "Would Ye Jun plan to remake this "Gaze at Love and Death"?"
