Chapter 9 I miss you so much

It was already three days later when we arrived at the border. We rushed to the border day and night and found a station to rest.

"I heard that Deputy General Yang personally led his troops to attack the Huns camp at night and burned the food and grass of the Huns. This time we were proud." The boss's wife leaned against the counter, looking a bit like a milf.

"Boss, aren't you afraid to sleep here at night? What if those Huns come...haha!"

"Yes! Why don't I accompany you tonight with the boss lady!"

"Oh, you monkey Huns come and you have to save the boss's wife..."

The sounds of men laughing and joking filled the inn for a moment.

"Boss lady, stay in a hotel."

Maybe my appearance was too sudden, and it seemed a little abrupt when standing among a group of big men with thick waists.

"Okay, please come upstairs." The proprietress gave the men a blank look and carried her skirt upstairs.

I smiled awkwardly and walked through the men to the second floor.

"This is my first time here!" The boss lady looked at me and smiled.

"I have been here before, but I live in a camp." I said in a faint voice without changing my face.

"It turns out that I was charging to kill the enemy before." The boss's wife didn't believe it or not, but just chuckled and looked at me from time to time.

"Yeah." I nodded and didn't talk.

The room in the inn is pretty good, with beds and windows, which can rest and be airtight.

The boss brought in the supper, but after entering the house, there was no intention of leaving...

"How old is the Major General this year?" asked the boss's wife, sitting across from her.

"It's twenty-five." I kept talking nonsense.

"It doesn't look like it, it looks not very old." She chuckled.

"Is that?" I smiled shyly.

"Are Major General ready to return to the battlefield?" The boss's wife seemed to have a little more interest in looking at me, which made me feel a little scared.

"I have a disease on my body, cough cough... This time I mainly passed by and wanted to go back and take a look." I coughed twice as if I was weak.

"So that's it." The boss lady looked like she understood.

"Yeah." I nodded and then ate quietly.

After dinner, I planned to find an excuse to let the boss's wife leave, but the boss's wife left with her plate.

I found a set of black brocade clothes from my luggage. Although it was not a night-slide clothes, I would not easily find them when walking in the darkness.

Close the door, went downstairs and left the inn in front of a group of men, heading straight to the direction of the camp.

When I arrived at the camp, I looked at the guards and figured out how likely it was to see Jianghuai without being discovered with my own ability.

I held the prepared medicine in my palm from my sleeve. If something goes wrong in this situation of a great enemy, wouldn’t I be a sinner forever? So relying on skills is the best way to get in, and relying on medicine is the worst way to get in.

I thought there would be heavy troops in front of the general's camp, but in the end there were only a few soldiers who were patrolling. They easily climbed over the fence and walked around from behind to front.

After entering the tent, I found that there was no one inside. I cleaned the incense in my hand and looked around. After about half a stick of incense, footsteps finally came from the door.

"General, do you still need to prepare for a night attack today?"

"Need not."

"General, the last night attack was so successful, why didn't he pursue the victory and just attack inside and outside, and caught them off guard."

"What Daliang needs is not record, but long-term peace."

Even if I didn't see anyone, I could still hear the faint distant voice of Jianghuai.

When Jianghuai entered the tent, a little surprised immediately appeared on his face, but he quickly covered it up, turned around and pulled up the door of the tent, and said indifferently: "There is nothing else, just go back and rest first! If there is something important, I will discuss it tomorrow..."

The outsiders did not notice anything unusual. Although Lord Jiang was polite to the people, his personality was relatively cold. Everyone in the army knew that Lord Jiang could not enter the tent and Lord Jiang could not touch things.

When the man's footsteps drifted away, Jiang Huai said lightly: "I finally have a conscience..."

Hey? Why does this sentence sound so awkward? How come it smells a little wronged?

I stood up and smiled: "Mr. Jiang's tone is very similar to a child without candy!"

"Xian Sheng, I miss you very much."

The next second I was hugged in his arms. He was wearing armor and the faint smell of grass and blood, but it made me feel a little relieved. Suddenly, I felt that everything I had before could not resist the peace of mind from this hug.
