Chapter 55 Time Crystal (1)
In the auditorium of the base, a white-haired scholar is explaining the crystal of time to everyone.

Symmetry in nature directly leads to the law of conservation. This theorem is precisely formulated.
The basic idea of time translation symmetry is that time translation has no effect on the laws of physics, that is, the laws of nature that are applicable now will be the same in the past and will remain unchanged.
Common crystals exhibit fragmented translational symmetry. They have spatially repeated patterns that remain unchanged under any translation or rotation. Although the laws of physics do not change with arbitrary translation or rotation, when atoms in the crystal are fixed, the dynamics of electrons and other particles in the crystal depend on how they move relative to the crystal, and the momentum of the particles is possible through interactions with atoms (interaction changes umklapp processes, etc.). However, false momentum is conserved in ideal crystals.
The time crystal is different, it destroys the time translation symmetry and seems to have a pattern of time repetition. Fields or particles can change energy by interacting with the time crystal, just as it can change momentum by interacting with the space crystal.
The idea of time crystals was first proposed by Nobel Prize winner and MIT professor Frank Wilcheck in 2012. Later, a more detailed definition was created. These were proven to be that they cannot exist in equilibrium. Then in 2014 at Yaguewo University in Krakow predicted the crystallization behavior of a discrete time in a periodically driven multibody system Krzysztof Sasha. In 2016, UC Berkeley Norman yao and colleagues proposed another method of creating time crystals in spin systems. It independently confirmed this in their own labs than trans-Topher Monroe and Mikhail Lukin. Both experiments were published in Nature in 2017.
What kind of thing is a time crystal?
It is a crystal above four dimensions and has a periodic structure in space and time. A time crystal can spontaneously destroy the symmetry of time translation and perform non-translational motion of space. The composition of time crystals uses the cross-existence of non-domain particles in the "space" to perform interrelated motion. It is the energy momentum of the energy-efficient particles that exceed the "domain space". The existence of time crystals also reveals the existence significance of "extra-extra dimension".
It can change over time, but it will continue to return to the same form it started, just like a moving pointer of a clock periodically returning to its original position. Unlike ordinary clocks or other periodic processes, time crystals and space crystals will be a state of minimum energy. It can be regarded as a clock that can always keep its time accurate, even after the universe reaches heat silence.
1. The movement of the time crystal should not consume any energy. Instead, it should be in a stable minimum energy state, just like diamonds and other traditional crystals. Even so, it is still in a permanent state.
2. Time crystals do not violate the law of conservation of energy. Generally speaking, the so-called perpetual motion machines will not last long because they are not in a ground state. Their energy will be consumed with movement and eventually the energy will be exhausted. In time crystals, energy is conserved because no energy is removed. In these objects, the speed of movement of atoms in the object is not zero...
