Eighty-two, deep sand spiders

The scorching sun was so hot that all living things in the desert were listless. The camel under Ling Xi's crotch lowered his head and walked slowly on the road, and his hooves were printed on the sand and left long marks along the way.

Jiulang behind Ling Xi licked his cracked lips, and even though he was almost dehydrated by the sun, he was unwilling to take off his clothes.

Ling Xi handed a water ball made of clear water in his cold hands. The water ball waves flowed, revealing a cool breath.

Jiulang held the water ball and drank a few sips in his thirst. The water ball was like a pierced balloon, scattered everywhere, dripping into the dry sand along Jiulang's fingers.

"How far is it?" Ling Xi asked at him.

The only person who knows the road now is Jiulang, and even Helian Ruoyu doesn't know the specific route to cross the desert.

Jiulang washed his face with the remaining water, and forced himself to cheer up and responded: "How many days will there be."

Before we knew it, the camel took Ling Xi and the others into a cool sand pit. The sand peak happened to cover the sun, leaving a hint of wetness in the pit.

The camel stopped and wanted to rest here for a while. Ling Xi tightened the reins and urged them to continue moving forward. They couldn't wait here for long. Maybe the people sent by Elilius were following their trails.

The camel took reluctantly and accidentally fell on a piece of sand. It screamed in horror and could not pull out its legs no matter what.

The camel's back lost balance and tilted to one side. Ling Xi grabbed Jiulang and jumped off the camel's back together with him.

Helian Ruoyu stepped forward to help, and Ling Xi immediately shouted at her and said, "Don't come over! There may be quicksand here!"

"Behind you!" Jiulang grabbed Ling Xi's clothes and widened his eyes and shouted at the camel who was trapped in the sand.

Ling Xi turned around and two slender black legs stretched out from under the sand, covered with fine fluff and water droplets. The hook on the foot was as sharp as a sickle, easily piercing into the camel's body and locked it tightly.

"What is that?" Ling Xi took a step back and looked at him vigilantly.

"It's the scorpion spider..." Jiulang gritted his teeth and explained: "They are the top predators of this desert, and they only move at night. They will shrink in a cool place during the day, burying themselves in the sand, waiting for the prey to come to their door."

As soon as he finished speaking, four long legs stretched out from under the sand. The sand churned, and a gray-brown spider bigger than a human emerged from the ground. Its head and abdomen were covered with pale white patterns, and a scorpion tail grew on its tail, which hung upside down in the center of the six legs and aimed at Ling Xi.

"Its scorpion tail can spew out a solution that melts people. As long as anyone touches a little, they will at least end up blooming with skin and flesh." Jiulang reminded softly.

A translucent columnar liquid shot out from the scorpion's tail and splashed towards Ling Xi.

Ling Xi dodged and did not forget to throw Jiulang away.

The liquid stains on the sand and immediately melts the sand, making pungent blue smoke appear, leaving dense pits.

Ling Xi turned around, the Scorpion Spider had approached him, raised two feet and slashed at Ling Xi. Ling Xi jumped up quickly, summoned a sand sword, raised his sword and fell down his hand, stepped on the Scorpion Spider's back and cut off its head neatly without any hesitation.

The scorpion spider fell weakly to the ground, splashing a piece of sand and dust. Jiulang coughed twice, his face full of envy: "Senior Lin Yi, I would have been as powerful as you."

The sand sword in Ling Xi's hand drifted away with the wind and said carelessly: "It's nothing, only one, the rest will be more difficult."

Jiulang was stunned and swept the entire desert with his soul. Countless scorpion spiders lurked underground, and they jumped out when they felt the vibration. Their feet danced and quickly surrounded them.

This is the nest of the scorpion spider.

The camel that Helian Ruoyu was riding was frightened, and actually left everyone behind and hurriedly fled to the sand pit. Helian Ruoyu was still on the camel's back, looking panicked.

"Bring Jiulang! I'll block them." Ling Xi grabbed Jiulang's collar and threw him over like a chicken. He turned around and summoned a spear, swept the sand at his feet, and drew a line.

More than a dozen sand soldiers holding long swords and shields crawled out from the ground and stood silently behind the line.

The gray-filled group of scorpion spiders hesitated and no one dared to go first. Ling Xi shot into the sand and emitted a faint blue light, and said softly: "Gongsun Ershi, it will make things worse."

A spiritual energy pierced from the tip of the spear and spread into the sand until the foot of the scorpion spider suddenly exploded. Countless spiritual arrows emerged from the foot of the scorpion spider group. They pierced the bodies of dozens of scorpion spiders. All spiders stained with the spiritual arrows were frozen and their bodies fell stiffly on the sand and survived.

Ling Xi gasped and pulled out the gun, and laughed twice when he saw this move. He had looked through a few pages of swordsmanship on the road before, remembering the second move as if he had seen it last time, and improving it to the point where he could use other weapons. As for the strongest third move, he also remembered it in his mind, but with his physical strength, he still couldn't use that move at all.

The scorpion spider ran away in pieces, not daring to fight against the god of killing in front of him, and crawled into the sand in a panic. Ling Xi used a long gun to hold the sand soldiers, swung the sand soldiers, and gritted his teeth on the forehead of the black mask to endure the headache. The sequelae of using a large amount of spiritual energy became more and more serious, and he could not bear it now.

On the other end of Helian Ruoyu, camels ran wildly in the desert and could not stop no matter what. Not far away was a sandy land slightly lighter than the yellow sand. Jiulang carefully identified it and used his soul to detect the sand on that side flowing slowly.

"Clan leader! There is quicksand in front of you! Jump!" Jiulang hugged the hump and urged Helian Ruoyu.

Helian Ruoyu grabbed the reins and did not dare to jump down for a long time. Seeing this, Jiulang stepped forward and grabbed the reins, and used force to make the camel turn his head and fall to the ground.

Jiulang and Helian Ruoyu also fell down and fell on the yellow sand.

A scorpion spider emerged from the sand, killed the camel with a sharp foot knife, and lowered his head to eat. Jiulang barely stood up, and saw that part of Helian Ruoyu's body was trapped in the sand, his face changed drastically, and he rushed over and grabbed Helian Ruoyu's arm and told him: "Class leader, water the quicksand with water! Quick!"

"Yes." Helian Ruoyu agreed unexpectedly. The hot quicksand around him gradually cooled down and solidified. Helian Ruoyu was pulled out bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by Jiulang.

The scorpion spider seemed tired of the smell of camels. After taking a few bites, he threw down the corpse, turned hundreds of pairs of dark compound eyes, and slowly approached Jiulang's back.

Helian Ruoyu looked at the scorpion spider and said with a pale face: "Let go, behind you..." Jiulang shook his head stubbornly, insisting on pulling her out.

The scorpion spider raised his foot knife behind Jiulang and slashed it hard.

Crunch!

The sound of piercing the hard shell came from Helian Ruoyu's ears. She closed her eyes in fear, and her hands could not use their strength, so she let Jiulang drag it hard.

She didn't smell the blood scattered in the air and opened her eyes.

Ling Xi pulled out the spear that pierced into the body of the scorpion spider. A green blood line poured on the ground. Ling Xi waved the spear and grabbed Helian Ruoyu's arm, and lifted her out with force.

Helian Ruoyu was covered in sand and the light yellow brocade skirt that was originally jade-shaped and pearled, was dyed into a gray look.

Ling Xi didn't care about this, and asked in a irritable way: "You are a spiritual cultivation realm, can a broken spider force you to become like this?"

Ling Xi was right. Helian Ruoyu and Ling Xi were in the same rank, and they were both spiritual cultivation. From the day Ling Xi sent her away, it took her only four years to transform from a person who had never practiced into a spiritual cultivation realm of fellow practitioners of the Three Dharmas, with a speed comparable to a monster.

Even the second prince Du Yu and others do not have half the talent of Helian Ruoyu. But she is so unscrupulous that she doesn't even dare to take action, and she panics when encountering things.

Helian Ruoyu was so aggrieved that he couldn't speak. He pinched the corner of his skirt and wiped the stains on it with clean water.

Ling Xi leaned on Jiulang's shoulder, trying to rest for a while with his shoulder. Unexpectedly, when he just met him, Jiulang coughed several times, bleeding from his mouth and nose, and kneeled to the ground in pain.

Ling Xi bent down to support him, but Xiaoling hurriedly stopped him: "The wound he had just broken open, and all the internal organs that had been pierced before were bleeding."

Seeing that he had such bleeding, he would have lost his life in a while, so he simply let Jiulang swallow all the remaining healing pills on his body.

The effect of more than a dozen healing medicines was rapid, and Jiulang stopped the blood in a few breaths. Except for his white complexion as white as thin paper, no other wounds were seriously damaged.

Jiulang opened his mouth and didn't say anything.

Ling Xi knew that he was thanking him, so he looked at Helian Ruoyu helplessly: "Do you have any healing medicine?"

"No." She lowered her head and said, "I didn't bring it."

Ling Xi didn't know what to say, so he turned his head to another place to try to recover his strength.

"Do you want me to call Hongjing over?" Xiaoling asked Ling Xi's opinion. There seemed to be a special connection between her and Hongjing. This connection allows Hongjing to sense Xiaoling's state at any time. Xiaoling can use this to make Hongjing come over, and the Yaguo did the same last time.

"Don't bother it." Although the current situation is tricky, Ling Xi asked himself that he was able to deal with it. There were not many old monsters in the Western Regions that could break through. Even if there were, it would serve the royal power of the Western Regions. This is why Eliluos was reluctant to show up with the Ming Dynasty. Those old monsters only recognized the royal power. If Eliluos dared to usurp the throne, his power would disappear in an instant.

A rustling sound came, and yellow sand spread out in the distance swept across the sky, drooping down gloomyly.

"The sandstorm is coming." Jiulang, who has lived here for many years, is naturally familiar with this phenomenon, and he stood up and said with Ling Xi's arm.

Ling Xi looked at the condition of the two of them and couldn't help feeling tired. These two people had to lead the way. Now that there was no camel, Ling Xi had to walk with Jiulang on his back.

"Let's go." Ling Xi raised Jiulang on his back, urged Helian Ruoyu, and walked towards the back of the sandstorm.

They didn't notice that in the depths of the sandstorm, a group of soldiers was slowly approaching. A man in heavy armor lowered his head and grabbed a handful of yellow sand, let the sand fly away in his palms, and looked forward and concluded: "We are about to meet Helian Ruoyu, let the team move forward at full speed and catch up with them."

"yes!"
