twenty-four, mountain eagle(2/2)
A few young eagles came, and a few mountain eagles that had not yet grown feathers were lying in the nest in the cave.
When they saw something coming in, they raised their heads and yelled, waiting for their mothers to bring them food.
Ling Xi walked into the cave and looked at the small mountain eagles in front of him. He tensed his mouth, raised his hand and pressed it on the rock wall, pulling out a stone sword.
Ling Xi walked to a few small mountain eagles and raised the stone sword in his hand.
"The Tao is ruthless, and it produces all things. All things must be reincarnated." For some reason, this sentence suddenly echoed in Ling Xi's mind.
The stone sword raised by Ling Xi never cut down. He stared at the little mountain eagle in front of him and took a step back and put down the stone sword.
"Haha." Ling Xi chuckled and leaned against the rock wall. He didn't know why he did this. Maybe it was the influence of that sentence, or maybe it was just that he couldn't bear to do it himself. Although Ling Xi knew that these little mountain eagles would almost die without feeding them, he still did not cut them down.
He tore off a piece of fabric from his body and wrapped it around the wound on his right shoulder.
Ling Xi's robe fell down there long ago in the fight with Shanying, and it contained his dry food and the lonely cliff grass.
However, the most important function of that robe is to keep warm. Ling Xi did not have that garment and would probably freeze to death on the frozen peaks of more than ten degrees below zero.
