Chapter 360 Avalon and Olympus(2/2)

Fang Lei chuckled and looked at the beautiful European land of nature and said to himself:

"The myths you record cannot be true. What I tell you is the real history!"

"This is true for the Dawn Church, and so is my plan next!"

Fang Lei saw the southeast direction, and the surging divine power surged in his body, and the void ripples appeared around him. Then he took one step forward, and when he appeared again the next moment, it was already above the mountains!

At this moment, under his feet was the Olympus Mountains, one of the most famous mountains in the West!

Mount Olympus is surrounded by clouds and mist for many years, towering into the clouds. Two-thirds of the year is covered with snow, and its highest peak penetrates into the clouds.

The hillsides are lush with oak, chestnut, beech, sycamore and pine forests, and the scenery is very beautiful.

This is why the ancient Greeks used this wonderful place as the residence of the gods.

But later the Greeks changed their views because the ice and snow of Mount Olympus were surrounded by clouds and mist, and were not the ideal residence for the gods to live in.

In addition, they were the same as the ancients in any region, and they believed that their place was the center of the world, so they naturally believed that the center of the world should be the residence of the gods.

But later, with the development of navigation, based on their navigation experience, the ancient Greeks realized that Greece was not the center of the world, and Mount Olympus was not the center of the world, so it was impossible for those gods to live on Mount Olympus.

When the Greeks ascended Olympus, it was not a very auspicious thing to think that the gods were close and visible at any time.

Because the main god on Olympus is really too tough in myths and legends...

In their myth, the gods in Olympus are the same as humans, both of which are beautiful in their bodies and their emotions and desires, know how to be happy, angry, sorrow and happiness, and participate in human activities.

The only difference between God and man is that the former is eternal life and has no period of death; the latter is limited in life, and there is birth, old age, sickness and death.

So in myths and legends, in the long life of the gods, they did various things that were even more exaggerated than fighting.

It is not a good thing to meet the gods by climbing the mountain.

For this reason, they gradually changed their views.

They began to think that the Mount Olympus they imagined was far away in the sky, and the gods lived in that far away place that was beyond reach, with a more sacred charm.

But no matter what, Mount Olympus is still a beautiful mountain in the minds of the Greeks.

"Although myths are false, I have to say that the myths here still have an intersection with reality."

Fang Lei touched his chin and looked at the continuous mountains below, and suddenly remembered a news from the past.

The content of the news is very interesting. The city of Troy, depicted in Homer's epic, has been confirmed to be a real city after archaeological verification.

Although it is definitely nonsense that such a powerful demigod as Achilles participates in the war, but... this also gives Fang Lei the opportunity to fabricate myths!

Saying jokes does not mean nonsense. As a mature god, Fang Lei has passed the stage of being in the beginning.

With historical basis as a reference, Fang Lei intends to really fabricate a heroic history of Greek mythology.

Of course, today's era belongs to the starry sky and to Fang Lei's era. There is no need for those existences in myths to appear.

This is the same as the Dawn Church.

The Dawn Church not only brought the power of holy light to France, but also made people believe that only three points of the myth in the past were true and seven points were false.

"However, in order to feel substituted, some elements in myths have to be used, otherwise... those artifacts will be wasted."

"Well...I remember there is a book of the Dead in the British Museum?"
