Chapter 239 The messenger

At the home of the Half-Great Tunus, Lucy sat next to the fireplace to keep warm, drinking the hot milk of Tunus, feeling the warmth throughout his body.

Squinting his eyes at the Half-Green, Lucy begged, "Mr. Tunus, can you play the last song for me?"

Tunus took out the Half-Sand Rao instrument and nodded, "Of course Lucy, but after listening to this song, you should leave. Now Narnia is becoming more and more dangerous. You should not come to Narnia again in the future."

"Why?" Lucy didn't understand. She finally had such a good friend, so why couldn't she come to Narnia to play with him.

"Because the White Witch has become more and more irritable recently, she not only sent her wolves to search everywhere, but also drove a sled to patrol the territory herself, trying to find Narnia's son of humanity." Tunus whispered, as if she was afraid that someone would hear it.

"Is she that scary?" Lucy's head couldn't understand the terrifying thing about the White Witch.

"She is the most evil witch, who controls all Narnia for life and death, and no one dares to upset her." Tunus whispered, suddenly excited, "Our leader asked me to go to him tomorrow night. I think he has also received news from the Son of Humanity and plans to get along with the Son of Humanity. If you want to go too, I can take you there."

"How long will it take?"

"It should take a long time to defeat the White Witch." Tunus said truthfully. No one is going to think that defeating the White Witch is easy.

Lucy thought about it, then shook her head and refused, "No, I can't leave for too long. My brothers and sisters are still waiting for me at home. If I leave for too long, they will worry."

"Then you go back quickly and don't worry them." Tunus urged. He always felt that Lucy was not very safe in Narnia, and not going with him was the right choice.

"You haven't played the song yet!" Lucy pointed to the instrument in his hand.

"Oh!" Tunus quickly picked up the instrument and put it to his mouth. The melodious melody came out of the instrument, which made Lucie calmly close his eyes.

"Okay, Lucy, it's time for you to leave." After the song was played, Tunus dared not delay any time, so he quickly woke Lucy up.

"Mr. Tunus, can I come to play with you?"

"No, it's better not. Nania is in danger, and I'm really leaving here, even if you come, I can't find mine." Tunus shook his head. He didn't want Lucy to take risks again.

"Where do you want you to go? I'll come to find you."

"I don't know where to go back. Don't come back, otherwise you will be captured by the White Witch's people."

After some persuasion, Tunus finally persuaded Lucy and planned to let her leave as soon as possible.

Passing through the familiar road and seeing the familiar lampposts, the two parted ways.

······

In the Snow Castle, a griffin gathered its wings and landed on the stone steps in front of the castle, and walked towards the castle with his head held high and his chest.

But before he could enter the castle, a gray wolf walked out from behind the stone statue inside the castle and looked at him with a grin, "How dare you break into Her Majesty the Queen's castle without authorization? Get out immediately."

The griffin is neither humble nor arrogant, without any fear, "I am the messenger of King Grey, and I am on behalf of His Majesty Grey to meet with the White Witch. You are not qualified to talk to me, so get out of the way."

"I see you are looking for death. I will bite your throat and lick your blood. I hope you can still talk to me with such confidence at that time." The gray wolf's eyes were cold, his sharp fangs showed his murderous fangs, and he walked to the griffin with murderous aura.

While talking about both, four or five wolf men walked out from behind the stone statue and stared at the griffin with malicious intentions.

They are all guards of the castle, and because of the White Witch's mission, most of the wolf clans have gone out, otherwise there will be more wolf clans here.

However, even though it was surrounded by wolves, the griffin was still fearless, standing there with his head held high and his chest held high, his eyes faintly swept over, full of a feeling of contempt.

The wolf clan standing in front of the griffin was immediately furious. You are a turtle in the jar and dare to be so arrogant. Don’t you know that as soon as we rushed forward, you will be torn to pieces?

Just as several wolves were about to take action, an old wolf walked out from behind. Her hair was no longer bright and her fierce eyes were turbid. When several wolf tribes saw the visitor, they were unhappy, but they still left the way.

"Whose messenger are you?" Lao Lang looked at the griffin that was still surrounding him, and an old and hoarse voice came from his throat.

"I am His Majesty Grey's envoy. On behalf of His Majesty, I came to Aslan to meet with the White Witch to discuss the future of Narnia." The griffin repeated.

"Aslan?"

"Aslan has returned to Narnia?"

Several wolf tribes exclaimed, but their expressions did not have the surprise or respect of the other Narnian people, but only had strong resistance and hostility.

After following the White Witch for a hundred years, they have long been labeled as the White Witch. It is impossible for them to continue to follow Aslan as before. Moreover, compared to Aslan, they prefer to live with the White Witch and can free their sex at will.

"Ahem!" Lao Lang seemed not surprised, and coughed twice interrupted their screams, "We all know Aslan, but is this King Grey?"

The griffin's head was raised higher, looking at them with disdain, "The prophecy circulated in Narnia, when the son of mankind sat on the throne of Kyle Palavel, the evil rule of the white witch would be ended, and it would never return, and Narnia would usher in real peace.

His Majesty Grey, the son of mankind in the prophecy, has now summoned his army and is about to overthrow the evil rule of the White Witch, and your end is not far away."

Finally, the griffin looked at the wolf pack with cold eyes, and he sneered. The griffin clan had been bullied by the wolf clan in the past, but now it is finally time to be proud, so naturally he has to find the place.

"Of course, His Majesty Gray is kind. As long as you are willing to resist the White Witch, you can do everything you have done before and give you the same treatment as the other Narnian people."

The griffin said this without much pleasure, and then added: "Of course, you are a despicable race that has been so evil that you have been immersed in the bone marrow. Even if your Majesty accepts you, in your nature, sooner or later will perish by committing unforgivable sins."

He knew that although His Majesty asked them to surrender, His Majesty himself did not give much hope, so he only said in his mind that creatures like the wolf clan were the best to perish with the white witch.

"You are seeking death, let your king prepare a funeral for you. We will send your head back to him, and your fur will pounce on where you are standing and wipe our feet." A gray wolf said viciously, with tight limbs and might rush out to attack the griffin at any time.
