23. The Wise Aines Ant of the Ant Kingdom

The children followed Captain Ant out.

Li Lin pulled Liu Weiston, his eyes almost stuck to the queen.

"Can you hear it wrong? How could an ant give it a name?" Zhou Kaishe murmured in a low voice.

"But that's what the Queen told me." Xiao Lilin replied.

Captain Ant took them out of the ant nest and came to a small mound on the edge.

This is not a small mound, but a shrunk can half hidden in the soil.

Walking in through the can opening, a plastic soldier at the entrance scared the children.

It is a few centimeters tall like a little giant guarding the entrance.

The sound of children's footsteps echoed in the spacious and empty can. Many fine holes were poked out from the can body, and the sunlight squeezed in, making the inside of the can be closed and dark at all.

The children were soon led to the depths of the can. An old ant wearing pocket glasses frames stayed in front of the drawing board.

The children looked up and their eyes were attracted by the can.

There were piles of small objects that once belonged to human society but were discarded. Button batteries, screws, bottle caps, candy paper, and a lot of garbage... They were almost piled up into a hill.

In front of the drawing board, Eince ants are dancing their tentacles rapidly, calculating mathematical formulas.

There are a few simple drawings of ants and mathematical symbols on the drawing board.

[Ant][Ant][Ant][Ant]=

This is a mathematical addition problem.

Captain Ant stepped forward and swung his tentacles. After a while, Eince Ant reacted and turned slowly.

Ruddy—

Captain Ant swung his tentacles and told his intentions. To the surprise of the children, Eince Ant slowly crawled towards Liu Weiston, his forehead almost pressed against his face.

Dongdong--

Eince's tentacles gently tap Liu Weiston's glasses.

"He likes your glasses." Li Lin translated, looking at the scene in surprise. "Ask you if you can use it."

After hesitating, Liu Weiston took off his glasses and handed them to Eince Ant.

Eince Ant's tentacles flexibly lifted up his glasses, took off the useless glasses he was wearing and threw them away, and put on Liu Weiston's glasses.

The blurred vision became clear. Eince Ant waved his tentacles and thanked Liu Weiston, returned to the blackboard, and continued to stare at the addition problem on the blackboard.

"Three ants plus one ant is just a whim--" Zhou Kaishe spoke, and halfway through his speech, Li Lin and Liu Weiston covered their mouths at the same time.

Zhou Kaishe was whining and vaguely, Eince ant staring at the blackboard picked up the pencil core with his tentacles and drew an ant behind the number =.

One ant, two ant, three ant, and four ants.

When I was about to draw the fifth ant, Eince ant paused its tentacles and the pencil poked on the blackboard for a long time.

"Stop drawing... stop drawing..." Li Lin murmured in a low voice, and Eince ant let go of the tentacles holding the pencil core.

The pencil core landed, representing that Eince Ant completed his math problem: Three ants One ant = Four ants

The shabby cans are like a solemn hall, and the garbage pile in the background is like the crystallization of wisdom. The beam of light that falls through the fine holes of the cans seems to be a holy light.

In a can buried underground, the Ant Kingdom took a small step to their civilization.

"Ah!" Li Lin raised his hands to cheer, and Liu Weiston clapped his palms implicitly.

Although Lu Paer and Zhou Kaishe didn't quite understand, they also applauded.
