Chapter 6 The Scarred Hand
Lin Jiangyi glanced at her sideways, "Don't you understand what I mean? Shouldn't your attention be placed in the first half of my sentence?"
Lian Beijin thought about it carefully, and suddenly realized it and slammed the table, "I understand, are you asking me to deliver soup?"
Lin Jiangyi nodded with gratitude with a childish expression on her face, "Since we have a goal, we must do it bravely."
"But I can't cook except for eating." Lian Beijin sat back on the table, holding his hands on his chin, "Do you do it?"
"I'm like an ordinary woman whose fingers can get water from the sun?" Lin Jiangyi coughed lightly, "I can't do it, but I can ask my aunt to teach you how to do it."
Lian Beijin hesitated for a while, "Then I'll give it a try?"
As night fell, two bicycles entered the military compound one after another.
Lian Beijin put down the bicycle frame, picked up his schoolbag and ran to the mansion.
The Lin family’s parents spent 360 days a year in the military camp, so that in the entire mansion, there were only two aunts left to increase their popularity, except for Lin Jiangyi, who was still studying in the house.
The two aunts looked at each other and saw their third lady leading the fourth lady of the Lian family back. Judging from the situation, they probably skipped classes again.
The two of them dared not say anything, and stood aside in a manner, waiting for the ladies to give instructions.
Lin Jiangyi stood in the kitchen with her brows frowned. She looked at the high-end crucian carp jumping in the fish pond and swallowed, "Xiaoxiao, are you sure you will kill this thing?"
Lian Beijin held two knives in both hands, staring at the fish in the pond that was still showing off her power. He felt a little frightened and suggested, "Why don't we buy ready-made ones?"
Lin Jiangyi glanced at her, "Or why don't we give up on Brother Huo Er. After all, a perfect man like him will not allow a superficial girl like us to think about it."
Lian Beijin rolled up her sleeves, sharpened her knife and took out the crucian carp, put it on the chopping board. She took a deep breath, raised her hand and slashed it down with one knife.
"Puff." The blood mixed with tap water made the two of them look on their faces.
Lin Jiangyi wiped the blood from her face, and she stared at the woman next to her who had cleanly cut off the fish head.
Hoho, woman.
Lian Beijin's mouth twitched, "Is this how I killed him?"
"Do you think you're beheaded?" Lin Jiangyi threw the crucian carp in the trash can and "re-sealed."
"Miss, why don't you leave it to us?" Chen Ma couldn't bear to walk up.
Lian Beijin wiped the blood from the knife and refused directly, "Comrade Jiang Yi is right. If you don't give, how can you ask for rewards? For Brother Huo Er, isn't it just a fish?"
The light of the knife flashed, Lin Jiangyi blinked instinctively, and then there was only a harsh scream. Before she could react, she saw the crucian carp landing on the ground with the kitchen knife, with a "clang".
"Ah, ah, blood, blood." Lian Beijin covered his left hand with his right hand, and still couldn't stop the bright red blood from the cracks of his fingers.
Lin Jiangyi couldn't believe that she had actually been self-harm. She picked up the clean towel next to her and covered her hand, "What did you do?"
"Hurry up, I'll give Miss Lian Si medicine." Chen's mother ran into the kitchen with her first aid kit.
When the towel was pushed apart layer by layer, the blood lost its pressure and poured out of the wound again, splashing on the floor drop by drop.
"Why is it so hurt?" Chen's mother carefully wiped the hydrogen peroxide.
Lian Beijin stared at his deep bone-sighted wound without a moment. How cruel it would take to get hurt like this.
Lin Jiangyi said laughing and crying, "If you don't want to cook, you won't use a bitter meat trick. This is probably a waste of two taels of blood."
Lian Beijin bit his lip, "It hurts."
"If you bear it, it won't hurt." Lin Jiangyi blew for her, "Are you still doing it now?"
Lian Beijin looked back at the joyful fish jumping on the ground, squinted his eyes, "I won't kill it, I'm sorry for my two taels of blood."
Chen's mother was speechless and wanted to speak but stopped, so she had to deal with her wound carefully.
Lien Beijin walked back into the kitchen with a fierce look, staring at the guy jumping on the ground with narrow eyes, and snatched it from the ground with great pride.
"Ah, ah, ah." Lin Jiangyi couldn't bear to see it and covered her eyes.
Lian Beijin grievancedly held his injured hand and returned to the living room.
Chen's mother was packing the first aid kit. When she heard this heart-wrenching roar, she hurriedly raised her head.
Lian Beijin stretched out his scarred left hand and sweared, "I can still hold on."
"Miss Lian, why don't I kill fish for you, you can only be responsible for doing it." Chen's mother suggested.
Lian Beijin held her forehead with one hand and looked at the fish on the chopping board with lingering fear, but finally took a step back, "Thank you, Mom Chen."
"Gugugugu." I don't know which family in the courtyard has a nest of roosters, and they kept crowing since four o'clock.
Lian Beijin was squatting in front of the stove and drowsy. When he heard the sound of clamoring, he stood up. He felt less blood supply in his brain and almost fainted gloriously on the ground.
She supported her hands on the stove, shook her dizzy head, and after she woke up completely, she hurried to the stove and looked at the fish soup that she had started stewing last night.
After stewing for seven or eight hours, the fish soup at this moment was as thick as white jade tofu, with a sweet taste without losing its master's style. The whole fish had melted into the soup, and there was no residue left.
She poured the whole pot of soup into a heat preservation cup and went out before dawn, so she would definitely arrive at the camp before her second brother had breakfast.
She regretted it a little as soon as she got on the bike. Her injured left hand seemed to be unable to hold the handlebars, and she almost hit the roadside flower bed several times.
"Ding." The phone rang tirelessly in her pocket.
Lian Beijin pulled over and stopped the car. He didn't plan to answer any calls, but when he glanced at the mobile phone number, he pressed the answer without hesitation. She calmed down her breathing, "Second brother."
"Last night, there was a military conference that didn't see your phone number as soon as possible. What's wrong?"
