Chapter 12 Identity(2/2)
The master of the temple of Ittenel, the current envoy of God—
Carista woke up from the nightmare, her face covered in sweat.
Her silver pupils shine in the darkness and are out of focus, as if they are still immersed in the dream just now.
Kalista opened her mouth instinctively and made a soft voice—
“Arsey.”
"Yes, God's messenger."
A clear sound came from the empty room.
But there was no one in sight.
It seems that this sound comes from the endless void.
Or the owner of the voice is an invisible ghost.
but--
This voice is completely different from the one she is familiar with.
Carista's pupils shrank violently, and she instinctively touched her fingers under the pillow.
There was a dagger lying peacefully.
When her fingers touched the coldness above, Carista suddenly calmed down.
She suddenly recalled-
The loyal guard who was guarding her day and night, the legendary archer known as the Wind Crying Man, had been sent out by her.
Now the person who replaces her as the patron saint of the night is just her young child.
"Little Arsey. Is it you?"
"Yes, Lord God." The other party's voice sounded in the room, unable to see where she was.
It looks ethereal and lonely.
"You can rest assured that I'm here." Alsey said bluntly, "I won't let anyone step into this place."
Carista smiled tenderly.
This little Alce is really like the legendary one, with extraordinary courage and extraordinary power.
Moreover, this kind of self-confidence revealed from the bones is quite like a mother.
When she remembered, Buffy Alsey seemed to be similar when she was young.
Carista lay back on the bed, placed her hands flat on her chest, and closed her eyes.
But, a heart thumped straight.
I can't rest for a long time.
For some reason, this inexplicable heartbeat always made her feel a little scared.
When was the last time...
It was then that Carista suddenly opened her eyes.
A cold sense of fear spread throughout the body.
