Chapter 69 Tony's Banquet (2)

As Gwen's father, George Stacey, walked over with a young police officer.

Peter stood upright and greeted his future father-in-law respectfully: "Hello Uncle George!"

George had a forced smile on his face, looking at this young boy who was not very thin and not as tall as himself.

Judging from the subtle state of the two of them, Gwen is probably already with Peter, and George knows it.

"Gwen hasn't been home lately. What's she busy with at school?"

Sheriff George asked casually.

Peter immediately responded: "That's right, Gwen joined a club and was busy with club affairs in school."

Sheriff George snorted: "It's so idle. Peter, if possible, advise her to focus on studying."

"She has no problem studying. I believe she is at least the top ten in the college in the final exam." Peter smiled.

Luo Yang added: "Peter is also a top student. I remember you seem to have won at least 3 scholarships?"

"It's nothing..." Peter pretended to be shy.

When George heard this, his attitude towards Peter was slightly improved.

"Peter is so amazing. He has created several inventions. He has won awards in high school before." After saying that, Luo Yang patted Peter on the shoulder.

"This is all in the past..." Peter waved his hand falsely.

After hearing this, Sheriff George became even happier. He originally thought that this guy was just an ordinary penis, but he didn't expect that he was a top student + a geek.

"Keep working hard! Peter, you just entered university and there is still a lot of room for development." Sheriff George patted Peter on the shoulder.

George Stacey looked at Luo Yang and asked softly, "Who is this?"

Peter introduced his friend to his future father-in-law, screenwriter Luo Yang.

Before George could express his opinion, the police officer behind him stood up.

"I seem to have seen you, Mr. Luo."

Luo Yang glanced at the police officer and recalled carefully, did I commit any crime by mistake? The police officer looked sharp and stared at him. The two looked at each other, and the atmosphere gradually became tense.

The police officer took off his hat and showed his brown hair, a handsome young man.

"Demps Wood, a second-level detective in the New York City General Administration."

Didn’t this meet Detective Demps several times at night? No wonder he had seen Luo Yang. At night, Luo Yang would appear wearing a mask, but Demps had extraordinary eyesight and he could see it.

This can only be done by borrowing a place to speak.

Luo Yang made a gesture and headed to the other corner with Detective Demps.

"Mr. Luo, you are the purifier, right?" Demps asked anxiously.

"Yes, I am the purifier."

Luo Yang leaned against the table and looked at the dishes on the table.

Demps Wood satisfied his curiosity and then asked: "Are you still a screenwriter?"

"I am a creative screenwriter and consultant representative at Origin Culture Company," Luo Yang smiled, "and the night purifier is a secret, don't tell it."

"Of course, I will cooperate with you, and of course I won't reveal your secrets." Demps continued after answering, "The last time I saw you was at the Geneva Hotel."

"Yes, SHIELD also came that time, and it was in chaos." Luo Yang sighed.

"I have two questions to ask you."

Luo Yang was not worried about any inquiries. After he nodded, Demps took out a small notebook he had with him.

He turned to one of the pages and said, "What organization was the one that confronted S.H.E.L.D., who was behind the scenes? Can you guess?"

"Recreation," Luo Yang said softly, "I suggest you don't check this organization, and don't think you can catch them. This will only make you angry, and you can't fight these guys."

"They set off a small storm in New York, and our police station must investigate people related to this organization." Demps looked persistent.

"I don't know the people behind them. I just know they're interested in mutants."

Demps was a little stunned and wrote down all the important information.

"The second question," Demps read the book, "Do you know a female night policeman wearing a black tights?"

Demps then said: "We suspect that this female policeman is related to a serious car accident that caused one death or two injuries. If you know her information, please tell us."

"I understand. If I understand, I will tell you." Luo Yang could only calm down at this time.

The female policeman Demps mentioned completely matches Felicia in details. She did commit a crime, just by killing her ex-boyfriend in a car accident!

The conversation with the detective was not pleasant, but the amount of information was very large... Demps actually tracked down the incident of Felicia taking revenge on her ex-boyfriend.

For her, Luo Yang must take action.

................

After the banquet, it was 9:30 at night.

Two night owls in black, black cat Felicia and purifier Luo Yang met on the street.

Luo Yang and Felicia were walking slowly on the streets of New York, chatting. The black figure quietly passed by under the moon, and they were like bats and catwomen.

Because of her ex-boyfriend, Felicia has always had a knot in her heart. She and Luo Yang accompany each other and comfort each other, but never promised to accompany each other for life.

Until 11 o'clock in the evening, the two kissed and said goodbye on the street. Felicia naturally returned to the Imperial University of New York, and Luo Yang rushed to the horizon base.

Back at the base, the decadent card king - Remy Lebo is still surfing the Internet. He is bored and playing Texas Hold'em games. Luo Yang saw from the record on the side that he has won countless games.

The King of Cards looked up at Luo Yang: "Why did you come to the horizon so late today?"

Luo Yang did not respond and lay on the sofa.

After a while, Luo Yang asked:

"Remy, what if the girl you like commits a crime and is targeted by a note?"

"Of course I'm killing the stick, what's there to think about?" Card King Remi smirked.

Luo Yang turned around and said, "Don't joke, you'll kill the police? This doesn't fit your style."

The Card King ended a game of Texas Hold'em. He stood up and sat opposite Luo Yang.

"Luo, I won't ask you personal questions. I'll give you some advice."

“What suggestions?”

"Send the girl away. Send it to a place where the police cannot track it." The King of Cards played cards in his hand and said softly.
