Chapter 106 hit and miss
There is now a fierce debate in the Zhouxue Lecture Hall. The two sides of the debate are Liu Xuan, a famous scholar of the classics, insisting that the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" is true, and the other is Sima Yang Ji, the general manager of Huangzhou, questioning the authenticity of the ancient text "Shangshu" that is circulated. Tian'lai Novel
The subtlety is that what Yang Ji questioned was the authenticity of the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" "now circulating", that is, he separated the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" presented by Kong Anguo, the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" presented by the ancient Han Dynasty from the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" that saw the light of heaven again in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
In that era, Yang Ji read "Shangshu Caini" compiled by Mei Yu in the Ming Dynasty. In the book, the author questioned the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" that was recognized as true since the Tang Dynasty, believing that this version was actually a fake.
The original version of this version is the ancient text "Shangshu" presented by Mei Zi, a Neishi of Yuzhang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. According to him, he claimed to be the ancient text "Shangshu" of Kongbi.
One of the flaws, King Yuwen of Xiyang, has taken the lead in questioning, that is, the ancient Kongbi text "Shangshu" that is circulating now. The content of its preface (say that it was written by Kong Anguo) is contradictory.
Liu Xuan's view, the books of Fuxi, Shennong and Huangdi mentioned in Kong's "Preface" are the "Three Tombs", which talk about the great way; the books of Shaohao, Zhuanxu, Gao Xin, Tang and Yu, which talk about the "Five Classics", which talk about the common way.
It was also explained that Confucius discussed the tomb scriptures, which were cut off from the Tang and Yu. The two scriptures were so concise and profound, and it can be seen from above. Although the so-called great way is said, "nature and the way of heaven", it is impossible for sages to get rid of.
For example, the way of Yin and Yang, the four seasons, seven politics, and the five elements must be said to be the key words that must be reached. It is not the last technique of reproduction and reproduction of later generations, but it is also the common way, which is not what the sages do not leave. In order to make the so-called Xi and Nong books, the book of later generations is a statement of the affairs of the time and is lost. In this way, the so-called Shennong words and Yin and Yang are called Huangdi.
This is why the sages removed it. The five classics are all "constant ways" and the third one is removed. Although there were already written characters in ancient times, the system was established and ruled, and records were recorded. Historians learned about the matter, which began from Yao.
Yang Ji did not get entangled, and then launched a new attack: the four sentences in Kong Bi's ancient text "Shangshu·Da Yumo" "The heart of man is dangerous, the heart of Tao is subtle, the essence is only one, and the middle is only", and there is something wrong with the first three sentences...
"Yunzhi Juezhong" was said by Yao. For details, please refer to "The Analects of Confucius: Yao said the Twenty" and is the words of the sage. The other three sentences are copied from "Xunzi".
Yang Ji believes that in "Xunzi Jiebi Chapter", citing the "Tao Jing" as saying "The dangers of human hearts, the subtleness of Tao's heart, and the subtleness of dangers, only a wise gentleman can know it." The people who forged "Da Yumo" changed the "zhi" in "the dangers of human hearts, the subtleness of Tao's heart" to "nai".
As for "only, the essence is only one", it is derived from a series of discussions by Xunzi. Three of the four sentences in "Da Yumo" were copied, and their authenticity is doubtful.
Liu Xuan disagreed because his opinion was: it is hard to say who copied these three sentences.
The book "Xunzi" often quotes the content of "Tao Jing". Why is the book "Tao Jing"? Liu Xuan believes that it is the honorific title of "Shangshu", because "Shu Yu" says: "Tao Jing is a Taoist scripture."
Can't the Book of Documents be called "The Book of Documents"?
Yang Ji immediately refuted this statement, and he still used Xunzi as a weapon to fight back: Xunzi quoted many books, and quoted "The Book of Songs" as "The Book of Songs" and quoted "The Book of Songs" as "The Book of Songs".
Then quoting the "Tao Sutra" shows that the "Tao Sutra" is the "Tao Sutra" and there is no respectful title. Otherwise, why do we have no respectful titles when quoting other books? Why do we need respectful titles when quoting the "Shangshu"?
The Book of Documents is one of the six classics. Why is there no respectful title in other books? Instead, one-sixth of the Book of Documents uses respectful titles?
Xunzi wrote books in a strict format. Whenever he quoted "The Book of Songs" and "The Book of Songs" all indicate the source. The only word "the danger of human heart" is marked only from "The Taoist Sutra", so Yang Ji believed that "The Taoist Sutra" was a title of a book, not a respectful title.
This refutes Liu Xuan's statement that the two sentences "The heart of man is dangerous, and the heart of Tao is subtle" are not quoted by Xunzi in "Shangshu", but by Xunzi in "Tao Jing".
As for the last sentence "Should be held in the middle", Yang Ji believed that this was just the dialect of the Central Plains (Henan). The Henan dialect that should be said to be "Zhong", and the unstoppable ones are called "Unshen". The likes and dislikes of things and the wise and unworthy people are all considered to be "Zhongshen" and "Unshen".
The so-called "middle" and "not middle" are just like the southerners who say "can" and "can't", "good" and "bad".
The "Zhong" of "Yunzhi" can be said by anyone regardless of status, no matter how noble or low a person is, it is not so profound and profound. As a result, the false person does not know that "Zhong" is a dialect, so it is ridiculous to have three sentences copied into four sentences, a total of sixteen sentences of the saint's mind.
'It's true or false, that's OK!' Yuwen Wen couldn't believe his ears when he heard this. Since Yang Ji came on stage, he couldn't understand what the debaters were saying, but now Yang Ji talked about "client" and "bad", he finally understood!
The strong Henan accent "middle" and "not", which is really vivid for Yuwen Wen. However, after all, the Henan dialect also said this a thousand years later. In ancient times, wasn't the main area where several saints were active in the Yellow River Basin?
"In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Mei Zi, a historian of Yuzhang, presented the ancient text "Shangshu", and claimed that it was the ancient text "Shangshu" of Kongbi. He did not think that Mei Zi, who lives in the south, might not understand the Henan dialect of the Central Plains."
"Mei Zi is suspected of being fake. It is very likely that when he forged "Da Yu Mo", he copied three sentences and four sixteen words in combination with other places, and compiled them into the words of the sage!"
As soon as Yang Ji said this, the whole hall was in an uproar: You actually said that the ancient text "Shangshu·Da Yumo" presented by Mei Zi is fake!
"Brother, this... what Yang Sima said seems to be very...hey?"
Liu Wenqi wanted to exchange experiences with his brother Liu Wenjing, who was beside him. He saw that his brother was breathing rapidly, his fists were clenched, and his eyes were staring at the debaters on the podium, muttering words:
"Sure enough, indeed! When I was studying, I thought these four sixteen words were a bit strange no matter how I looked at it...
"Brother...Brother..." Liu Wenqi was at a loss when he saw his brother as if he was possessed by a demon. He was not very knowledgeable about the "Shangshu" and sometimes he had to read the book before he could discuss it with others.
The debate was just now that the dialect between the two sides was so intense that he had no books in his hand and could not keep up with his thoughts. Looking around, many people had already entered a state of meditation, while some were holding charcoal pens and writing something quickly on the white paper.
Liu Wenjing came to her senses and pulled her brother to whisper: "Where is the pen? Where is the paper? Write it down quickly!"
"Ah? Ah! My pen..." Liu Wenqi woke up as if he was dreaming, and reached out to look for a pen on his body, but when he took out the paper and pen, he suddenly came to his senses: They debated so fiercely, how could they have time to write!
In a corner of the audience, Yu Wenli pulled Xiao Yu and asked, "Did you bring "Da Yu Mo"? I can't remember it!"
Xiao Yu was holding a charcoal pen in his hand and writing it on the paper. He had no time to pay attention to Yu Wenli's problem, and could only shake his head to indicate that there was no "Da Yu Mo".
He was familiar with the content of "Shangshu·Da Yumo", and could discuss with others without having to read the book, but it was already very difficult to keep up with the thoughts of both sides of the debate at this time, and it was almost a mess to remember the content of the conversation.
If Yu Wenli hadn't had a special identity, he really wanted to shout "Don't make a noise!"
Seeing that Xiao Yu had become possessed by the devil, Yu Wenli turned to ask for help from Kong Yingda. As a result, he saw that this person seemed more possessed by the devil, and kept muttering: "I'm... Isn't."
"Brother Kong? You...do you worry?"
Kong Yingda turned to look at Yu Wenli after hearing this. He looked at him with a dull look and his face was stiff. However, in Yu Wenli's opinion, this person seemed to have suffered a heavy blow.
"Brother Kong, I have never been to Henan. The dialects there say 'can' and 'no'. Could it be that it is really 'climb' and 'not'?"
Kong Yingda nodded and said, "When I passed by Henan prefectures and counties, I stayed at the inn along the way. The dialects there said 'can' and 'can', which is indeed 'middle' and 'not'..."
"Then, that... what Sima Yang said, is it really possible?"
Yuwen Li became nervous. When he first studied "Shangshu·Da Yumo", his teacher once said, "The human heart is dangerous, the Tao heart is subtle, the essence is only one, and the four sixteen words are the sage's mind method.
Could the result be fake?
"Dialect, Central Plains dialect... Mei Zi is the inner historian of Yuzhang, Eastern Jin Dynasty. Mei Zi may be a descendant of the Southern Transportation, and may not be able to understand the Central Plains dialect, so, so it is possible..."
Kong Yingda muttered, feeling a little dazed, just like his father suddenly said that he was not his biological father, and his biological father was actually a farmer in Yuzhou, Henan, as unacceptable.
"The heart of man is dangerous, the heart of Tao is subtle, the heart of Tao is only subtle, the essence is only one, and the middle is allowed to hold on to the middle." The first two sentences were copied from other books, but they were changed. The third sentence was compiled. The fourth sentence did not mean anything special. Is it because everyone thinks too much when they don't understand dialect?
