Chapter three hundred and eighty seventh return to zero

The dim sky, the boiling sea surface, countless huge tentacles poked out from under the sea, stretching into the air, waving like a whip, forming a crazy dense forest.

A huge head stuck out of the sea. I looked in the cab. I was frightened by the horror scene and almost couldn't hold the rudder.

This is a huge monster that emerged from the bottom of the sea, with a vague outline of a human, a bloated and fat body, an octopus head, and many tentacles. There seems to be a pair of clawed wings behind him, and a pair of big eyes are tightly closed, as if they have not yet woken up.

Its tentacles kept waving, like a person touching his hands before waking up. If this monster woke up, I'm afraid my sea boat would be finished.

Facing monsters and desperate situations, I have two choices. First, turn around and run in a dual-purpose sea boat, as far as I can, and stay away from this huge and terrifying monster.

Second, rushed over and while the monster had just poked his head out of the sea and had not come back to his senses, he knocked it out with a boat and entered a state of sleep again.

I don't know if this monster will be like a human being, and will faint if it is hit hard in the head, but now that I have no choice.

Almost all the crew members on the ship were crazy during the wake of the monster. Now, there are not people on the ship who are crazy, except for me, who is the captain, the first mate Zhang Yu.

Therefore, it is basically impossible for two people to escape from this sea area by driving a dual-purpose sea boat.

I no longer hesitated and shouted at the sound tube, "Add coal! Add coal!", let Zhang Yu, who was in the cabin, burn the boiler as strong as possible, then drove the rudder and continued to move forward in the sea boat, facing the violent tentacle jungle.

The sea boat roared, the chimneys sprayed thick smoke, and the paddle wheels on both sides of the ship kept rigging the sea water, driving the ship to move forward quickly.

With a "click", the main mast was cut off by a huge tentacle and flew into the air. It was turned and fell down, and was shattered by another tentacle.

Sweat beads oozing from my forehead, but I had no time to wipe it. I focused on manipulating the sea boat, constantly avoiding the huge tentacles of dancing wildly. The deck under my feet gradually trembled. It was the manifestation of the boiler reaching its limit. If this continues, the boiler will explode in less than half an hour.

But now, I have sailed to avoid countless tentacles and approached the monster's head. Its closed eyes slowly opened, like two red suns, emitting a strange light.

At that moment, light filled my eyes, and many strange scenes kept popping up in my mind, including huge wings in the sky that blocked the sunlight, and evil figures in the dark abyss.

There are also cities that are engulfed by flames, and countless monsters that are surrounded by strange shapes and worshipped by the altar.

A large amount of information poured into my head. I fell down with a split headache. My whole body was twitching and unable to control it. But the ship continued to move forward. I don’t know how long it took, but I felt the hull tremble suddenly, and then a shrill whistling sounded.

The waves slapped the ship, and the hull was shaking violently. I was like a little hamster in a roller, rolling in the cabin.

I don’t know how long it took, the sea surface returned to calm, and I no longer twitched. Although I had a bruised nose and swollen face, my limbs were healthy. I struggled to get up and looked outside. I found that the dark clouds in the sky were dissipated and the sun shone on the calm sea surface, and there was no huge monster anymore.

I breathed a sigh of relief and was about to speak into the microphone, but I was entangled by tentacles and could not move.

At that moment, I remembered the octopus heads of that type of human monster and its countless tentacles. I was shocked and struggled.

But I can't break free.

Yuwen Wen suddenly opened his eyes and woke up from the nightmare. He found himself lying on the bedside, tightly wrapped around him by someone beside him, unable to move.

When I looked closely, it was Yuchi Chifan who was sleeping soundly.

"So it's a nightmare. I said why did I meet Mr. Ke..."

Yuwen Wen murmured, breathing a sigh of relief, and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead with his left hand that had not yet been "bound".

Some time ago, in order to refute the rumors, Yuwen Wen racked his brains to compile a story that spans nearly 60 years, fooling around the fact that Yuchi Chifan disappeared for a period of time (early the second year of the Elephant).

In order to impress readers, give them a strong sense of substitution, and agree with the stories he made, Yuwen Wen not only used the first person "I" to narrate, but also borrowed the stories of later Cthulhu mythological system and wrote the entire story into a Cthulhu-style thriller novel.

Cthulhu is a vicious existence in this mythological system, one of the old dominators, and a concentration of human fear and fantasy.

The image of Cthulhu is an octopus head, human body, bat wings on its back, and sleeps in the underwater city of the South Pacific, and is jokingly called "Chima".

The Cthulhu mythology has a weird style and is very tangible, and it is also very tiring to write. In addition, writing with the first person "I", is also tiring to write. Therefore, after Yuwen Wen completed his creation in a short time, he dreamed that he met a monster and fought with him wits and courage.

I just feel that the entropy value has dropped sharply and is about to return to zero.

The entropy drop refers to the fact that in Cthulhu mythology, when mortals come into contact with old dominators and their objects or family members, their mental effects are severely affected or the information they receive exceeds the capacity of the human brain, and therefore, "head overload" occurs and people will become crazy.

Commonly known as "the entropy value decreases" and "the entropy value returns to zero".

Yuwen Wen is familiar with Cthulhu mythological novels, so it is very easy to learn from. He turns the non-existent female white ape into a key figure connecting various historical events, driving the development of the entire story, allowing readers to suddenly realize the truth and sneer at the rumors of reality after reading the story.

It was not without a price to come up with such a good work in a short time. The consequence of Yuwen Wen's passionate creation was that he spent too much energy and it took a few days to recover.

The story he compiled was published quickly by the Xuexue Society. According to current statistics, the sales volume of this work has entered the top five in the sales volume of legendary story books. After a while, it will be no problem to be ranked first.

At the same time, storytellers from Chang'an, Luoyang, Jinyang, Yecheng, Chengdu, and Xiyang also began to tell this story to the audience. It won't take long before anyone would believe the rumors about the white ape wild species.

Whether it is Ouyang Xun or the current prince, if someone says "white ape wild species", they will only be teased: "Oh, are you a white ape incarnated and have come to spread rumors and cause trouble again?"

Since there is a reasonable answer to the queen's disappearance that year, the prince cannot be a wild ape species, so no one cares about the slander of the monkey spirit in Shu (his secretly that Yuwen Wen's concubine Yang is a monkey spirit, and his son King Yan is a monkey species).

Using rumors to deal with rumors is much better than using "Dayi Jue Mi Record" to refute rumors. Yu Wen Wen is very satisfied with this, but he still has regrets.

That is, the mastermind behind the scenes has not been able to find out yet.

Li Sanjiu secretly sent someone to inspect, but failed to find any useful clues, let alone follow the clues. Therefore, unless the master behind the scenes makes a fool of himself, or someone around him gives evidence, his identity will not be exposed.

Yuwen Wen was open to this. Among the civil and military officials in the court, a large number of people were promoted by the fight against the Yuchi family, so it was normal to be hostile to the "remnants of Yuchi".

There are a large number of these people, and they do not trust the queen who is the "remnant of Yuchi" and the prince who was born (who was a pseudo-emperor back then). They are always worried that the mother and mother would overturn the verdict in the future, so they would "make trouble" whenever they had the chance.

But he didn't dare to do it openly, so he could only make up rumors and slander the reputation of the queen and prince.

Yuwen Wen cannot block everyone's mouth, so the best way is to zero in the credibility of the rumors and prescribe the right medicine.

Yuchi Chifan's only "flaw" is the fact that the elephant disappeared for a while at the beginning of the second year. Now that this flaw is blocked (with a reasonable explanation), there is nothing to worry about.

Just make the rumors untrustworthy, and the other party cannot use this to make trouble.

As he thought about it, Yuwen Wen was quite happy. Suddenly, he moved around and turned to look. It turned out that Yuchi Chifan was awake.

Yuwen Wen hugged Yuchi Chifan and asked, "Why don't you sleep anymore? It's still early before dawn."

Yuchi Chifan looked at Yuwen Wen, and had thousands of words to say, but he didn't know where to start.

She read the new legend of the study club and recalled that Yuwen Wen often wrote at night some time ago. Yuchi Chifan could probably guess that the author of this book was either Yuwen Wen himself or Yuwen Wen's subordinate.

This legend gives a very reasonable explanation for the fact that she disappeared that year. Although Yuchi Chifan is not sure why this legend involves her encounter that year, she believes that it must be Yuwen Wen who is protecting her and her reputation.

Although Yuchi Chifan didn't know what happened and asked his husband to do so, Yuchi Chifan felt his husband's careful protection of his reputation.

With thousands of words in her heart, she looked at Yuwen Wen and said softly: "Erlang, thank you."
