The Buddha in the past was the ancient Buddha of the lamp; the Buddha in the present was the Tathagata Buddha; the Buddha in the future was Maitreya Buddha.

Second:

The three Buddhas of the past, present and future are all Tathagata Buddhas, one Buddha and three bodies.

As Guo Dalu saw and knew, the two Buddhas Randeng and Maitreya did exist in Lingshan, but Guo Dalu had no conclusion on whether they really represent the past and future of Buddhism.

After saying that, he added: "But you don't have to worry. I have suppressed him in the ancestral land of thousands of kalpas and suffered the suffering of endless kalpas. In the end, the cause and effect of his Buddha will be separated from him. At that time, the Buddha's position will be empty in the future, and I will help you achieve the Buddha's fruit."

Before Guo Dalu could answer, the Demon Ancestor continued to brainwash: "You are the most important 'one' among Laojun's 'fifty transformations', and they are also a master of the unique knowledge of Confucianism, Mohism, Yin and Yang. If you can attain Buddhahood and be familiar with the hundreds of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and other schools of thought, one of them, even me, will be counted as one, who will not let you get three points?"

Guo Dalu asked, "Why is the great monk sure he is qualified to be in this position?"

The Demon Ancestor said: "The only ones who can overcome the sea of ​​suffering are you and Tang Sanzang. Compared to him, your roots and feet are more complicated, with deep causes and effects, and they are not even below Maitreya. Therefore, I want to convince you first."

What he meant was that if Guo Dalu disagreed, he would try to convince Tang Sanzang again.

However, Tang Sanzang is the reincarnated spiritual child of Tathagata Buddha, and it is probably not so easy to convince...

Thinking of this, Guo Dalu suddenly thought of a possibility: Will this "future Buddha plan" also be in the great plan of Tathagata Buddha?

If so, then this matter will be more complicated than imagined. In addition to the battle between the Buddha and the Demon Ancestor, it also implies the game between Tathagata Buddha and Maitreya Buddha.

Guo Dalu pondered for a moment and said, "I have to think about it again. After all, according to my original intention, I want to sit in the mountains and watch the tiger fight, and see which one of you or the Tathagata Buddha can laugh to the end."

Hearing Guo Dalu's words so frank, the Demon Ancestor was stunned for a moment, then laughed and said, "This is natural. Although the Tathagata was called dead, he was actually hiding in the dark and waiting for an opportunity to move. I don't know what he was planning. It's not surprising that you have such concerns."

"However, this proposal from me is once a year old and concerns your ultimate path. I think it is worth your consideration."

Guo Dalu nodded in agreement, "I will think very seriously, uh... In addition, I can also make a guarantee that if the Buddha of Merit is finally convinced by you and agree to take over the position of the Buddha in the future, then please give me priority."

The Demon Ancestor laughed again, said "interesting" three times, and then said, "Do I meet someone who can talk to me? If Brother Guo doesn't mind, I will tell you my story."

Guo Dalu stretched out his hand and said, "Tell your story."

The Demon Ancestor mused with his hands behind his back, walked forward a few steps, and spoke in emotion: "Actually, to a certain extent, the fate of Brother Guo and I have similarities..."

Guo Dalu followed his footsteps and listened carefully.

The Demon Ancestor told a story about Guo Dalu, which was roughly a long time ago. He was also a devout Buddhist disciple. At that time, he was ordered to go to a place in the Nanzhan Continent to preach Buddhism, but unexpectedly he encountered difficulties from the largest local forces. After some negotiations, he reached an alliance with the leader. As long as the leader could successfully solve the three major problems, he would allow him to preach.

Those three problems are actually to save three people: a ninth-generation evil man; a ninth-generation beggar and a ninth-generation fireworks girl.

The Demon Ancestor, who was a great monk at that time, successfully saved the evil people of the ninth generation and the beggars of the ninth generation with his compassion and kindness. However, when he was saving the ninth generation fireworks girl, he encountered a major obstacle and actually fell in love with the fireworks girl.

Even so, he still completed the transformation of the fireworks woman with great concentration. The woman was reincarnated in a good family in the next life and was able to grow up peacefully and happily.

However, the Buddha believed that when he saved the fireworks woman, he moved his mind and violated the Buddhist rules and regulations, and expelled him from Buddhism.

After this great change, a generation of monks had evil thoughts in their hearts, and then they went to the ancestral land of thousands of kalpas, absorbed more malicious intentions, and became stronger. Finally, they made up their minds to avenge the Buddha.

"The so-called liberation of Tathagata is actually to destroy human desires and human nature..."

The Demon Ancestor fell into anger at the past, "What is transcendence? In my opinion, it is not that the mind is not moving, but that the mind can calm the mind. This is the true transcendence. If the mind is dead, why seek liberation? Have you ever heard of the stubborn stone seeking liberation since ancient times? It is really hypocritical."

Guo Dalu remained silent.

After the Demon Ancestor cursed, he looked at Guo Dalu, his tone gradually calmed down and said, "Dalu and Jiang's Bodhi became a fairy-like partner, and he still asked the truth at the extreme. It can be seen that the saying that the four elements are empty is nonsense. Do Dalu agree?"

Guo Dalu said: "I understand the truth of the story, but the story itself..." Guo Dalu shook his head, "I don't believe it."

"Why do you say this?"

"The land of all calamities is the source of evil in the heavens and all worlds. I believe that 'lie' is not uncommon there."

The Demon Ancestor said: "Do you think my story just now is lying?"

"Isn't it?" Guo Dalu asked.

The Demon Ancestor did not immediately refute and asked Guo Dalu with a smile: "What do you think the truth of the story is?"

Guo Dalu stared at the Demon Ancestor, and after a while, he said something amazing: "You are the Demon Ancestor of All Tribulations, but you are also the Buddha of Tathagata!"

Guo Dalu said: "Buddha, Demon, Buddha, has been one and two sides since ancient times. If there is a demon king in this world who can go along with the Buddha, then I can't think of others except himself, so I have this immature speculation: You are actually transformed by the Buddha's evil thoughts."

"This is the similarity in our destiny."

The Demon Ancestor did not argue with the right or wrong and said, "Even if you guess, I and him are no longer the same person."

Guo Dalu said: "It's just that a person's evil thoughts temporarily have the upper hand. In the final analysis, evil will not suppress righteousness."

The Demon Ancestor sneered: "Do you think Tathagata is right?"

Guo Dalu did not answer.

The Demon Ancestor said: "Let me reveal a secret for you. When I first appeared in the world, I had a vision of the three realms. It was actually from the work of Tathagata. In order to shape the image of my devil who destroyed the world, he specially arranged such a big show."

Guo Daludao: "It's like a man and a man fighting each other."

The Demon Ancestor glanced at Guo Dalu and no longer explained, "Think about my proposal seriously."

"I will think seriously, but I will not be controlled by you because of this... So don't expect me to hand over the reincarnation of Tathagata Buddha to you." Guo Dalu confessed.

The Demon Ancestor said: "If you talk to me like this, aren't you afraid that I will take action immediately to make you die?"

Guo Dalu said: "If you dare to do that, you must be prepared to lose at least half of your cultivation. At that time, will those big guys who will always be hidden behind the scenes be unable to help but take action and I can't guarantee that even if they can't help but not take action, the Taoist ancestor who pretends to be in seclusion and my son... I'm afraid that he will not miss such an opportunity."

"So you're not afraid?"

"Otherwise, why would you ask me to be the Future Buddha first?"

The Demon Ancestor laughed, his body gradually faded, and the independent small world also disappeared, as if it had never appeared before.

Guo Dalu appeared in front of Jiang Boti and others again. Everyone looked at him, without asking, just waiting for him to speak.

"Nothing," Guo Dalu waved his hand, "The Demon Ancestor invited me to go to Lingshan to be his second-in-command."
